"I spend quite a bit of time reading reviews and looking at the TVs in person. My two biggest concerns were to find a TV with good sound and a TV which doesn't change channels too slowly. We are using it for a bedroom TV and couldn't be happier. It's true a lot of the TVs this size had terrible sound, but this TV is great. It's doesn't sound like it's coming from a tin can nor is the base too high to make it sound static-y. It had the loudest sound we found in this size/price range. Also, this TV changes channels more quickly than other TVs we looked at. Some TV's took several seconds to change while this one is quick and even quicker with the 'enter' button on the remote. Just be aware, it takes several seconds to power on using either the remote or the buttons on the TV. It doesn't respond right away and while I was getting used to it, I would press the button extra times thinking it didn't work and it would accidentally turn the TV on and then off. We do notice on non-HD channels some of the pictures look elongated width-wise, which it seems is due to the aspect ratio on even similar TVs. On the few HD channels we get, it's fine after it automatically adds a black border, shrinking the screen. The HD picture quality is amazingly clear. The sleep timer is a pain to get to on the remote supplied, but we have a universal remote that just takes one button (we couldn't find the button on the remote supplied). However, I'm not sure if it's just our universal remote, but the TV does not respond well to it and you have to press the buttons twice. Please note, the remote supplied is great, we just wanted one for each night stand and already had a universal remote. The first time you power the TV on, it does it's setup. The auto channel finder is VERY slow. It took about 40 minutes to complete. Since it only does it the first time, it's ok, just expect extra setup time. Other than that, the red/black color is nice. The size is nice since it's sitting on a dresser. The buttons on the TV are really neat because they're not raised. It's not overly sensitive and the buttons are accurate."

"I got this TV two months ago. The picture is sharp, and sound is good. I specially like the wake-up feature which allows me to switch the TV on Mon-Fri automatically to serve as alarm clock. Great Feature!
The only thing I do not like is the character of the caption which is too small (smaller than those in the 13" TV I had before this one)."

(not using the wall mount that came with it because it isn't practical at all.) I would recommend this TV for any kitchen or small bedroom west"
