What's great about it: Live action battles with multiple unit control and strategic formations with engaging turn based empire control
What's not so great: None for me, but this is mainly just a continuation of the Total War series with new units

"Great game. I loved the predecessor, Rome: Total War and was as addicted to that game as I am to this one. It is easy to micro-manage and control your growing faction, or leave many of the features on auto-control, and focus on the aspects you're interested in. I am also excited about the possibilities of fighting in new terrains, like the americas, and can't wait to try it in the expansion packs."

What's great about it: Plays smoothly- easy to understand features- balanced gameplay
What's not so great: Takes a lot of time to beat the campaign

What's great about it: Great graphics, challenging campaign great multiplayer
What's not so great: Lots of hard drive space needed!! Requires a decent if not excellent video Card!

"Upon recently getting a new machine, I instantly purchased Medieval Total War 2: Gold Edition. I was a huge fan of the Medieval Total, and anticipated the game eagerly. The campaign mode is challenging, featuring wonderful graphics. Each battle is fought on the terrain that is represented on the campaign map. The battle sequences have been updated, featuring wonderful graphics, realistic fighting and sieging. Multiplayer action is fun, addicting and heart pounding and could last hours if you have the time. This game is a must for all Strategic Thinkers, and provides a wonderful campaign if you do not have a speedy internet connection."
