What's great about it: Amazing Picture Quality, HUGE Screen, Better & Bigger than plasma tv's!
What's not so great: Speakers sometimes cut on even though I have them set to 'off'

"This television looks amazing!! The clarity is actually better than I thought it would be. I have a Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, and a 5.1 Surround system/receiver hooked up to it. The picture quality is absolutely amazing when viewing Blu-Ray movies (HDMI cable on PS3 is hooked up to tv). It looks so real at times. I recently purchased a 1st-person shooter game for the PS3 that has a light gun. My goodness! I actually feel like I'm in the game when I play this!!! Whenever we have company over at our house they are always intrigued by how good the picture looks on this tv. I'm very glad that we decided to buy this tv for our home theater room. I think the picture quality looks as good or maybe even better than plasma tv's. The only issue that I have is that even with my tv speakers set to 'off' in the tv menu (I only use my surround system for audio) the speakers on the tv will sometimes automatically turn on when I insert a movie into my PS3. It annoys me but I can live with it. I guess I'll call Samsung one day and ask them if there's a way to fix it. Besides that minor problem, I LOVE the TV (and especially the price) & would recommend it to anyone and everyone that I know!!"

What's great about it: Picture, connections, size

"I purchased this TV when it was first released. After having 3 different HDTV's over the past 4 years ( a Hitachi Rear Projection, a Sony LCD, and a LG Plasma ), I did alot of homework on my final purchase. I must have spent at least 12 hours of my life in store, comparing the pictures and features.

This can NOT be appreciated until you bring it home and set it up, in the store, ALL the TV's have their settings and displays tweaked beyond normal. Once I had it delivered, I spent about an hour going through each setting till it was how I liked it.

I use it for daily viewing, movies, and gaming...plus at times I'll hook my laptop to it for a nice monitor.

Blu-Ray's look....WOW...the picture seems to explode off the screen. I use a Magnavox Blu Ray ( Identical to the insignia..just different name on front ) and everybody who watches movies over my house are stunned, even those who have 1080p TV's and other brand Blu-Ray players at home are amazed how much more the picture POPS.

Gaming is second to none, from my XBox 360, PS3, even the Wii....they all look amazing.

Regular Cable HD looks top notch as well. NFL games look better then they would in person. from the blades of grass, to seeing the hair on a players arm, this is what a sports fan wants to catch the game on.

What drove me to it the most was the LED light engine. I know firsthand how long a LED will last ( I have a LED nightlight in my bathroom that has been plugged in non stop for 6 years and still going strong )... so the idea that there will be less to replace settles well.

The depth of this is also a selling point. It is 1" THINNER in depth then the 47" Plasma TV with the stand that it replaced.

To sum it up, I have had other brands, and other HDTV styles, and this is where it ends. I spent the same time reaserching my TV's in the past, and have not been nearly as happy as I am with this one. If I did get another TV in the future, it will be the latest model of this one. Samsung, you ARE now my home brand of choice for TV's"

What's great about it: picture is much brighter than other screens this size, the colors are sooooo real
What's not so great: the sound was only good quality but my home theater unit really made it sensational

"this tv is the best bang for the buck out there, I've been looking at tvs for the past 10 months and this is easily the best,, super clear picture , great size, with some of the clearest brightest colors I've seen on a DLP TV, easily rivals plasma FOR LESS THAT 1/3 THE PRICE.. SUPER EASY TO SETUP and the remote is well designed.. A BEST BUY !!!!!!!!!!!"

"What a deal for the screen size! Did I mention it is HUGE !!!

This is our second Samsung DLP and the new LED technology is a fabulous concept and hopefully, we won't have to replace the bulb for a very long time. The picture is clear, colors are beautiful & a nice contrast too. There was a lot of tweaking to do on my behalf to get the picture to my liking, but it was extremely easy to do. Menu navigation on this set is a breeze!

Even though the sound isn't all that great on this TV, I still gave it a total of 5 stars.

This TV is a bargain! ...and it's HUGE!!!"

"If you're looking for the budget-friendly HD TV, you have it. This TV is HUGE and has a great picture. We mainly bought it as an upgrade to our 61" DLP with a standard bulb. I like that this one doesn't have a regular bulb (ours on our other TV already had to be replaced) and I love the HDMI ports. I can't rate the sound quality as we don't use the built-in speakers.
Every time I look at the price of a big-screen plasma or LCD, I remember why I bought this TV!"

"Samsund is a very good brand tv, we already have a 42 inch version and has no problem with it, This 67 one makes my 42 like a 32 inch tv blow its away.Great picture quality if connecting with HDMI cable.This was another reason why i choose this because it has 3 hdmi connection for both my PS3 and directv high-def receiver so thats leave one more for future use.Can i tell you WOW, far as playing my ps3, 1080 pixel full HD on this monster tv.This samsung actually has a feature for software update, thats a plus, due to if theres a problem out there for software issue,their website post update revision so you can update it when necessary via USB in the back.It is also powered by LED light source gives the bulb a longer life span then your traditional DLP. Very stylish slim look then the old style.Now the only issue i have is the speaker, its not so great, horrible sound quality even if you switch it to theatre mode but instead i just hook it up to my surround via optical cable, sounds awsome i rather play the sound thru my surround anyway makes it like you are at the movie theatre without leaving home.If you want great sound, hook up via optical to your surround sound system.Bought this tv last month when they had their labor day sale, wanted to make sure every thing is good before i posted this.
Final note Great TV no problem did i mention Huge Screen, 3 hdmi connection, software update feature,1080p full high-def."

"Purchased this tv to replace 35'' crt set. Easy set up simple to use. Problem it's still projection tv, when viewed str8 on magnificent, when sitting to the side or lying on the floor picture gets distorted. Returned it after a few days..."

What's great about it: picture, long life, 120Hz, good controls, value
What's not so great: no front panel inputs for VideoCam or game consoles

"I purchased this despite believing that it was not 120Hz, because the PQ was simply knockout at the store. When I got it home not only was the PQ even finer out the box than I remembered at the store, but I did some research (search keywords HL67A750 and CinemaPure) and discovered it does actually run at 120Hz internally and do the smooth movie interpolation trick. Plus support for 3D at 120 Hz (when that starts to happen). I spent hours simply mesmerized by replaying favorite movies with good cinematography - and I was replacing an older HD TV so I thought I was immune to the wow. Amazing color, great skin tones, everything seems true to life.
It does a nice job with a Comcast HD signal on either the Component or DVI inputs, and it tuned my OTA HD stations easily.
The only downside is that all the connections are at the rear right, nothing accessible at the front. Also I used a Samsung BluRay player and the two recognize each other over the HDMI - nice - but then do this bizarre thing with the Inputs list where the BluRay shows up twice (as if explaining inputs to the family is not already complicated enough).
The Light source is a USA device spun off from MIT, look up PhlatLED, very clever and quite bright. I can easily watch the picture on summer days so long as the TV itself is shadowed: of course for movie quality you want the room light down but for casual watching the news or whatever it is fine.
Lived with it for a week: very happy with it."

What's great about it: Incredible looking TV, sharp, crisp display, biggest DLP on the market, multiple inputs for ANY application, anynet
What's not so great: Big screen takes longer to clean :) OH WELL!!

"AS most have said, this TV is amazing. Its super light, but HUGE for a DLP. It is currently the biggest DLP on the market. The seemingly unlimited number of inputs allow for everything to connect, Satelite, DVD, Bluray, even computers connect easily. Pair that with a wireless keyboard and mouse and you have the biggest computer screen out there. Better yet, nothing burns into the screen, or fades. The DLP can be on ALL DAY and not heat up a room or cause damage. Samsung devices play well together for those of you that dont have or want an all in one remote. With this size of a screen you have to be careful to not have accidental scratches from bumping into it, but a small price to pay.. For the price you will not get a better television set. All the HD features, with all the future technology. Not to mention with the new LED, you use HALF of the electricity, almost no heat build up, the the bulb should last your lifetime without issue. Get the warranty to ensure you take care of yourself in case of an accident or issue, but overall you should have no problems at all. I got this TV the DAY it came out, I waited for a long time, and you will NOT be let down I assure you."

Great Set For The Money 08/18/2008

"This set was a replacement for my HLP5063 that I purchased in Jan 05. Had Best Buy warranty and they could not repair set. Went into the store gave them my claim number and they let me pick out a new set. I was dead set against another DLP but when I saw this set I fell in love all over again. The picture is amazing. I did some research online before deciding on this set. I think the LED light engine is the future of DLP. Only time will tell but for right now I cannot see any issues with this set. 1080P and 67 inches for what I paid for a 50 inch 3 years ago."

What's great about it: Very Bright picture, excellent color.
What's not so great: only 67", no 72" version

"Excellent picture. Uses half the power my old set used. The TV had perfect geometry and no bowing. It looks great now but I can't wait to see how it will look after my professional calibration next month."

What's great about it: Excellent picture, easy install
What's not so great: They dont have the 7 series in a bigger screen

"After much research , i received this tv several days ago, now granted i was going from an old box type big screen to this tv but the picture is everything the prior reviewers stated. Not to mention the fact that using the LED will certain save on bulb replacements down the road. Brilliance of colors is truly amazing on this tv in addition hook up with home cable and surrond a breeze with the HDMI and digital opitical cable."
