What's great about it: Easy to set up and great price
What's not so great: I wish i could take pictures with it without needing to put in a lens

"I truly believe that this is the best beginner camera there is. The pictures I first took were so amazing I started contemplating becoming a professional. I am in awe of how easy it is to use. What's great about it: Picture quality, shutter speed, ease of use

"I purchased this camera in Oct 08 and have taken over 700 pictures to date. I am still experimenting with this camera but have found that using the AV/TV/M and manually changing the white balance have dramatically improved the picture quality. "I love this camera. It's my first DSLR and it is so easy to use. It's a comfortable size and doesn't get too heavy around your neck. The pictures look amazing. What's great about it: fast easy to use great for action shots
What's not so great: bit bulky

"takes excellent photos, has a Nikon D70 before every pictures was under exposed I would have to adjust them on the computer. On the Canon XSi the pictures go from the camera to the printer. Just an excellent camera for the wantabe photographer."

What's great about it: Fantastic ISO capabilities, lightweight, a myriad of adjustments and settings...
What's not so great: Price, but read on...

"Bought this camera after playing with a friends for the weekend. Took more than 1500 pics in just over 48 hours... it was fantastic. Highest quality picture we've seen out of a digital camera, well, ever. Megapixel rating alone cannot be a factor, because we've owned some high-MP rated cameras that still took grainy, weak pics unless conditions were just right. This camera, as mentioned above, takes some very fast shots, with the ability to change the ISO settings allowing for action photos as well as perfect stills. If you're just looking for a basic camera, then the price of this one will be prohibitive. On the other hand, if you're looking for high quality pictures, either as a hobbyist or an entry-level pro camera, then this just might be the one for you. *Note: I'm not a professional photographer, but a hobbyist for a while in the film-camera space and worked in professional photo processing for several years."

"This is my first SLR camera and I love it. Take great pictures and is easy to use. The other great feature is its compatibility with the SD/SDHC cards. Bougth me an 8G card and I can take over 1300 pictures. The cards are cheap too. Well worth the money."

What's great about it: Great Photos and with amazing color and clarity. Camera has been on a 3000 mile trip with me taking pictures.
What's not so great: Without the Battery Grip the camera body is sort of small in my hands. With the compact design. Easily fixed though.

"Camera does everything that the specifications says it will do and with the smaller memory card format, you are able to pick up plenty of memory for less than other camera types. I've taken pictures that range from people to 3 mountain ranges and national parks so far and couldn't be happier. I'll add photos later..."
