What's great about it: Battery Life, Size, Ease of Installation, Range What's not so great: You have to manually turn off the mouse
"I have a dell XPS1530 with built in bluetooth. I game alot with my laptop however i hate using the touchpad. I purchased this mouse and it was easy plug and play. My computer easily recognized the mouse and right away started using it. The battery life is pretty good compared to other mice. It feels very comfortable in ones hand. Just make sure you turn the mouse off when your not using as it will kill your battery fast."

What's great about it: It seemed to work really well and connect to my computer everytime. Was very comfortable. What's not so great: I've only had it for roughly a month and a half and it just broke on me, the scroller just stopped working.
"I purchased it when I got my macbook, and was very interested to see how the bluetooth compared to the typical usb hook up cordless mouse that i had prior. I took it back my house and it has worked great until tonight. I walk in my room to get on my computer, attempt to scroll down, and it doesn't work. I don't know why, it just happened."

What's great about it: Works in Linux! What's not so great: Have not found any flaws yet
"Needing a mouse that works in the Linux OS, I decided to give this a try. I decided that bluetooth was the way to go so I wouldn't have to worry about a USB dongle getting bent etc. Once I turned it on my OS had no problems finding it and works like a charm. I got it on sale for $19.99 and the price could not be beat. Take a chance with this product and brand, it is worth it!"

What's great about it: One of the cheaper bluetooth mouse/mice? Works fine. What's not so great: Only wish is a auto-shutoff.
"Using this mouse with a Dell laptop, works fine. Pros: - Good price, one of the cheaper bluetooth mice I've found, and it looks and feels good. - Optical mouse operation is good. Scroll is fine. - Syncs with the laptop easily, easy setup.
Cons: - While it feels good, still not as nice as my corded mouse (scroll wheel, click feel, movement, etc...). However, my corded mouse costs 2x as much, so this is good for the price/cordless. - Wish it had an auto-shutoff feature, like shutoff after 1/2 hr of non-use or something. Always forget to shut it off, and batteries die. I use rechargeables, so not a big deal, but a waste.
Overall good - I will probably buy another for xmas."

"Just purchased the Rocketfish bluetooth mouse on sale this week at $29.99. Really an attractive price. With the quality of the product I believe I got a great deal. Have paired it with my 17" MacBook Pro and it is working wonderfully!"

What's great about it: Comfortable to use What's not so great: Drains battery, constant disconnects
"I had this mouse for about 6 months but it recently ended up in the trash. This thing eats through batteries like no tomorrow. You have to remember to turn the mouse off everytime you're not using it otherwise expect to change the batteries every few weeks. Also on the iMac it suffers from repeated disconnects which results in you having to keep pressing the connect button on the bottom of the mouse.
Even though ergonomically this is a much better mouse than the mighty mouse supplied with the mac, its frequent disconnects and excessive battery draining makes this a pretty worthless alternative."

What's great about it: Good price, smooth and comfortable like the Mighty Mouse What's not so great: Scroll wheel makes hard clicks when moving
"This is a good alternative to Apple's Mighty Mouse. I have both and enjoy using them both. The Rocketfish mouse is lighter than the Apple's due to its 2 AAA batteries instead of AA. I don't like the hard clicks all that much when it comes to the scrolling wheel but that's just my preference. For the same price, I would pick the Apple's own mouse but since you can pick these up much cheap, I wouldn't hesitate buying one."

What's great about it: easy set-up, great response, good battery life What's not so great: gets dirty easily
"this is a fantastic mouse! it was so easy to set up, I didn't need the software it came with. all I had to do was turn on the Bluetooth on my computer, go through a few simple set-up steps on my computer and I was good to go! it has a great design, and it matches my MacBook perfectly. the scroll wheel works great, too. the horizontal tilt is a little slow, but I hardly use it, so it's not even an issue. the mouse has a good feel to it and is all-around very easy to use! I highly recommend it!"

What's great about it: function, design, simplicity, value, ...right click button What's not so great: hidden gem :) wish i had known about this brand sooner
"This mouse is my first Rocketfish purchase and I am impressed how well this product has performed...the bluetooth feature beats USB devices hands down...and it has a right click button not found on the mighty mouse."

What's great about it: Quick bluetooth set up and daily connection. What's not so great: I wish the scroll wheel could also scroll sideways as well as up and down.
"The mouse connects quickly to my bluetooth laptop, and looks like the Apple mouse. Price is better & less heavy too. It also works on rechargeable batteries, which I am told will last a long time."

What's great about it: Ease of pairing, quick interface, useable on multiple service What's not so great: None yet.
"I long considered getting a wireless Apple Mighty Mouse for my new MacBook. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $70 on a mouse though. This Rocketfish product seems to be the answer. At $28 I'm completely satisfied. Paired easily. Scalable sensitivity settings. Good battery life (so far--just remember to shut it off!) It does what a mouse needs to do and still looks cool next to my white MacBook. For the price, you can't to better. No side clicking so no calling up open windows with Expose and such, but for me that's cool. Just get Quicksilver addon and you won't miss it."

What's great about it: No usb dongle sticking out of my laptop What's not so great: Its a little sensitive at first
"When I bought this mouse I liked the size being a slightly larger than a normal sized laptop mouse. My hands are too big for those tiny laptop mouses.
I also like that you don't need a usb dongle if your laptop already has bluetooth.
Just don't forget to turn it off when your done using it or the battery will go fast."

Great Mouse

What's great about it: Price, Easy of use, size/style What's not so great: Weight
"Looking for a cheap wireless mouse, bluetooth was obviously the way for me to go; it's built into my toughbook (I ALWAYS snap USB dongles/drives off). I found the RocketFish and loved the design.
At only 30$, it was a great deal. Connectivity simply couldn't have been easier, save for having to enable bluetooth on the laptop. I searched for devices, pressed the 'connect' button on the mouse and it was done. 15 seconds.
The movement is smooth and sleek, just like the design of the mouse. It fits the hand well and the four-way scroll is awesome. The only problem I have with it is its weight; it's a little light for my tastes. But like I said, a steal for 30$.
Get one."

Very poor battery life

What's great about it: Mouse works well What's not so great: Battery life
"My opinion may change, but I just bought this mouse. I loaded the batteries the day before and began using the mouse. Set up was very easy, and the mouse worked as advertised. I was initially very pleased.
However, since I'm not used to an on/off switch on my mouse, I forgot to turn it off in the evening. I used it half the next day, but then the battery suddenly died--after less than 24 hours. If this is normal, it's unacceptable. I imagine a lot of people will forgot to turn the mouse on and off.
I'm trying a new pair of batteries. I'm hoping something strange happened and that this new pair of batteries will last a long time. If so, I would give 4 or 5 stars. If not, 1 star."

What's great about it: No lag, quick connection, better built than Apple Mighty Mouse, On/Off Switch What's not so great: Doesn't work on Glass Surface
"The only reason I gave this mouse 4 stars is because I just got it earlier today and.. even though it's just a mouse.. I haven't had time to get the full affect, or see what could go wrong with it.. hopefully nothing though.
So far, I've had absolutely no problems. I just bought a MacBook Pro and decided I needed a bluetooth mouse, and this thing connected almost instantly. When I get out of Sleep Mode, it takes no more than one second to reconnect . Obviously since I use a mac, there were no drivers to install and therefore the included disc wasn't necessary for me. With that in mind, all I had to do was put the batteries in, turn it on, connect it, and I was set.
A perfect answer compared to the Apple Mighty Mouse."

This might be the ultimate Mac mouse.
07/18/2008
By BJR1028
What's great about it: Matches Mighty Mouse in looks, tilt-wheel sccrolling, BT2.0 tech, easy to setup and use, works brilliantly. What's not so great: I'm unfamiliar with the company, but none so far.
"For the last couple of years Mac users have been looking for a mouse that combines the good looks of the might mouse with something that, well, actually works. This little number does the trick. Setup was a breeze, although as with other bluetooth devices you're going to need a wired mouse for setup. However, once you pair it with your Mac, it will connect pretty much instantly from know on. All mouse features including the 4-way tilt wheel work with the standard OSX controls. The laser sensor is very precise and very sensitive. I usually have optical and scroll mice on full sensitivity and I actually had to turn this one down. If this mouse lasts, I will be using it for a long time."
