What's great about it: Easy to set up, great accesory for any racing game
What's not so great: needs to be like 5 dollars, not really nessary
"This is a great accsesory if you have another racing game but the price is a little dramatic 10.00 for a piece of plastic. You dont really need it but it makes it more realistic looking."

What's not so great: KIND OF WISH IT HAD A BASE!

What's great about it: Comfortable, affordable, offers a realistic experience.
"If you own Mariokart for the Nintendo Wii, then you probably already have one of these. But, if you want to get your friends in on the action, then you'll definitely want to have a spare Wii Wheel or two lying around. The Wii Wheel does away with any need for joystick-based steering. It may take some getting used to in-game, but once you do, you'll never want to go back to a basic controller ever again. The Wiimote fits right into the slot on the wheel and the entire wheel/wiimote combination lays out very comfortably. Lightweight, durable, and most importantly affordable, the Wii Wheel is a great accessory to have. You simply can't beat it."

What's great about it: - easy to use, Wii remote fits in quickly, car movements are perfect
What's not so great: - 'B' button is awkward
"Just right for Wii games, especially Mario Kart Racing! The kids can even use it. Heck, it might just be what kids learn to drive their cars with in the future. Can't wait till there is a Driving Simulator game for kids with permits. Ahh, stay off the sidewalks! :)"

What's great about it: Good Feel, Weight, Design
What's not so great: Doesn't Really Do Anything Otherwise
"I also got this with my copy of Mario Kart Wii. The wheel feels good in your hands and trying to play the game without it actually feels kinda weird. The Wii Wheel has a solid feel to it and the enlarged B trigger on the back certainly helps. I like the way the side has a cut out so you can still point and click like normal before you actually get into the game, but beyond that the Wii Wheel really doesn't do anything. It goes a step beyond the wheel that came with GT Pro Racer (which was a nice freebie), but ultimately its just another one of Nintendo's plastic peripherals that enhances gameplay without any actual function of its own. For the price, I can definately recommend it to a friend, but I won't say its a must-have item."

"I got this included with my mario cart game as a package deal. I really didn't mind, if you add both together separately, the bundle was the better deal. At first, I tried the game out with the wheel instantly. Needless to say, it felt extremely weird. The plastic was uncomfortable to hold and was pretty heavy to hold up (since I normally stand playing Wii). The slick surface of the wheel got slippery when my hands got a little sweaty, from intense gameplay or just from holding it up, I don't know. In any case, I was getting tired of the thing so I popped out my WiiMote and just held its ends. I was surprised how much better this felt! Heck to the wheel! I played better and was faster at responding without the thing. I suggest just avoiding it altogether. It's like the pelican sports accessories, they seem like fun and can add somewhat of a third element to the game, but it doesn't add anything to the outcome of the game, nor does it make you any better... If cavemen were alive today and saw that this is what we called a wheel, I'm sure they would be very disappointed in us..."

"The Wii Wheel makes playing racing games (like "Mario Kart") much more enjoyable and easy to master. The Wheel feels very solid and provide a touch of realism that improves control.
The additional Wheels are not that expensive, so if you will be playing multi-player you should consider getting an additional one to keep the race "fair" :-)

What's great about it: Makes MarioKart easier to play especially for novices
What's not so great: need to get used to the feel of it--less is more with turns
"I love the Wii system, but when it comes to MarioKart, my nine-year old will outplay me everytime. It's great if you've never used the classic controller and don't know how to drive a real car. Although it looks like a car wheel, don't drive it like one! Keep movements to a minimum and you'll do great. Once you get used to it, you'll have a fantastic time!"

What's great about it: Simulates Driving
What's not so great: No steering wheel mount
"I love the idea of racing games using a steering wheel. Unfortunately, whoever is using the wheel will end up in last place. The wheel is very difficult to use because there is no mount and so you have to hold the wheel up in the air which makes things very uncomfortable and challenging. The wheel is pretty small too. Its not too pricy so I will still recommend it."

What's great about it: gives nice racing feel
What's not so great: not as good as nunchuck, works fine without
"The Wii Wheel is a superfluous item. The best racers online don't seem to use them, items are a little harder to use, and the steering can all of a sudden change if you tilt up or down too far. The nunchuck is better, and you can drive the same way even without the wheel."

"wheel looked great and felt great but was too hard to control your vehicle through the courses. we raced other people and each time the person with the wheel lost saying that it was the lack of response and the difficulty of trying to control your character with the wheel that caused them to loose."
