What's great about it: NONE
What's not so great: Short lifetime, excessive unneeded cables, single point for all wires that came with it for poor power distribution
Unfortunately this power unit failed after barely a half year, time enough for the warrenties to fully run out.I see I am not the only one with this problem here, so Buyer Beware, avoid RocketFish like the plague until their quality control comes up in a major way

What's great about it: Not much now.
What's not so great: Stopped working, entirely useless.
Naturally the limited warranty just ended and my PC starts turning off.
Rebooted once, won't come back on. Power supply is bad. (tested with my multimeter)
I would say that for it to only last about a year even the amount it was less expensive than another power supply did not make it worth having bought in the first place.
It was easy to install, lots of cables, wrapped. The LED light was pretty.
But no matter how inexpensive or pretty or easy it was if it only works for a year or less it is basically junk.

What's great about it: It did what it was supposed to do....
What's not so great: It died on me after 10 months....
I thought I was saving money since its kind of cheap for 700W. Everything was working fine and I was very happy with the purchase.
Then after about 10 months, my PC started to turn off randomly. I was able to turn it back on a couple of times before it turned off again--this time, for good.
I narrowed the problems down to the power supply and decided to buy a new one and my PC is working properly again.

What's great about it: Modular cables were pretty nice.
What's not so great: Product lasted 4 months.
This PS worked great for about 4 months. Then I started having problems where my computer would just hang. It became more and more frequent and I changed out everything and still had a problem. Turns out the power supply was bad. I switched it out with a spare 500w power supply I had laying around and it works great with no hanging. I'd look somewhere else if you're looking for a powersupply that lasts.

What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: documentation, product quality, compatibility
I had high hopes for this PS after reading favorable reviews, but for me it has been an exercise in total, absolute frustration. The documentation is horrific, with little if any discussion of the included cables. One of the worst omissions deals with the motherboard and cpu power connections. It leaves to self-discovery the fact that the 4-pin connectors are found by applying strong pressure and cracking cable heads in half in order to separate the 4-pin connectors from the larger plastic connectors to which they are fused.
When matched up properly to the 4-pin power socket on my motherboard, with pinout voltages being exactly as they should be, the supply briefly comes to life when the computer "on" switch is pressed, then shuts itself down immediately. There are no short circuits or the like anywhere on the motherboard and all other cables are attached properly (verified over and over and over). I've tried removing one connector at a time from my motherboard and disks to see if any might be causing a problem but it makes no difference. Likewise, removing peripherals (network card, graphics card, memory, etc.) one at a time and retesting... has no effect.
The cabling itself is poorly thought out. Cables that need to be spread and attached at distances of 4 inches or more are so tightly bound in a rubber collar and mesh sleeve that must be gently cut open with a razor blade to make the connections, immediately voiding the warrant and ability to return the product to the store.
My queries for help to Rocketfish customer support have so far gone unanswered.

What's great about it: It was 700 watts
What's not so great: it was expensive for the actual wattage output
I purchased this psu for my nephews computer due to video and hard drive upgrades, and his old 500 watt psu just couldn't keep up. It worked fine for about 6 months then while playing CoD and WoW the system would hang up, and even hung at the desktop. I changed every component out with known good ones, and the system still had hang up issues. I finally decided to see if it was the psu thinking it can be that its too new. I put my ultra 1000W x3 in and no hangs no stalls no misfires on start up. My nephews system draw about 450 to 500 watts peak. This psu should be able to handle that load easily and it doesn't. This power supply is an epic fail. it has good features but i prefer the standard molex and sata connectors to be on the psu itself. I don't like proprietary cables. I gave it 5 stars for ease of use because even a half blind recess monkey could put a psu in. Its not rocket science.

What's not so great: It worked for only a few minutes then stopped working. Each time I repowered up my computer it was the same thing.
It repeatedly stoped working within a few minutes of turning it on. Checking on the Internet showed many reports of simular problems.

What's great about it: Love the black chrome finish, and the modular cables.
I bought this power supply to replace a BFG 650 that developed a short in the cable going from the power supply to the motherbaord. That one nearly smoked my mother board on more then one occasion, and was a hard problem to figure out.
I love this thing. I hit the power button and my gamer fires up just fine.
I'm running a Pentium-D 3.0 GHz, 2-512 Mb Geforce7600-GS (SLI), 2 HDD's, 2 DVD+/-RW, with a sound card thrown in for good measure. I've not had any problem with it overheating. I wish I'd bought this one sooner.

What's great about it: This powers my gaming rig amazing never an issue
What's not so great: not modular,
Love the PSU powers my 8800gtoc, Q6700, and everything else I want with no problem put in a antec 900 with couple of ters of drives. love the aesthetics. seems to be rock solid over a year old no issues. I wish it were modular but that is nit picky especially for the price I payed.

What's great about it: 700 Watts runs most high end systems short of more than 2 graphics cards and a High end Phenom II BE AMD or Intel I7.
What's not so great: Cant find anything amiss.
Ive bought several powersupplies over the years and was suprised just how well made this unit seems to be.
Of course, I havent had it for over a year+, so actual durability is yet to be seen.
Some posters seem to be mentioning issues with overheating and might be either pushing over the units designed 700 Watts, or are running too many things on a single 12V rail.
Keep in mind powersupplies rated for 700watts are talking INTERMITTENT levels at 700 Watts, not continuous use!
Take 90% of 700 Watts, and thats 630 Watts, for true "cool" and stable operation.
Good rule of thumb.
You will overheat ANY powersupply at or close to max power output.
Keep in mind this is in essance "overclocking" the powersupply at those levels!
There are programs out there that can help you determine your total power consumption, so you can find out if 700 Watts is even enough for your system.
Overall, im impressed with Rocketfish and would buy again.
Love the modular design, and decent heatsink size and weight, as well as many connectors included in the box.
Use what you need, put away the rest. :)

What's great about it: Rated for 700 watts, has 6 SATA connectors, 2 12-volt rails, 80 plus certified
What's not so great: Heats up and shuts down when put under pc load, even when well below 700 watt rated power
I bought this PSU because I wanted a fifth SATA power connector, this one has 6. I paired it with an AMD Brisbane x2 5200+ 65 watt processor, ATI 3870, antec 900 (lots of fans), 4 hard drives in a RAID 0+1 configuration (SB 600 does not support RAID 5), and one hard drive for linux. I never got linux working because GRUB bootloader paired with Ubuntu disconnected one of the other drives from the array, and I use that PC mostly for gaming anyway.
The computer ran fine for several months, until I found an unbeatable deal on an ATI 4870, and swapped out the graphics cards. After a day or 2 the computer would shut down in the middle of playing Fallout 3. I thought that it might be my light overclock on my CPU, so I reset it to stock, and it worked for another 2 days, until it shut down on me twice today. The second time it would not turn on when I pressed the on button.
I flipped the PSU switch to see if I could get the computer to give me a heartbeat. The PSU chassis was HOT, really hot. The computer fans started spinning, and the pc passed POST, so I turned it off assuming that the power supply had overheated (I know how many motherboards are fried by bad power supplies). Sure enough, the Power supply fan stayed on even after the rest of the computer shut down, it had overheated.
Given that the internal components in my system could not possibly use more than 350 watts of power, this power supply must have terrible internal cooling. Perhaps this PSU can supply the rated power, but it cannot sustain that power with its mediocre internal heat-sink or gigantic fan.
The price is too high to use in a shuttle rig, and the cooling is too weak for gaming. Stay with the big-name PSU companies. My BFG 650 watt is coming out of my closet tomorrow despite its 4XSATA limitation.
I am thankful that the power supply shut down instead of melting, so at least something in this power supply works correctly.

What's great about it: 2 PCIe connectors, 4+4 CPU connector, MODULAR!!!
What's not so great: If you have an Antec 900 or 1200 you will need a cpu cable extender, if you have xfire or sli cards..
Smooth Finish, Platinum Color, Modular.
Has a great feel to it, doesn't feel cheap like some PSU s out there, solid.
Was able to power all my fans, 3 DVD Burners, 3 TB HDDs, 2 - 3870's in xfire.
Pulled it out when I upgraded to 2 GTX 295's.

What's great about it: Working Great for 9 months. Extra long, sheathed power cables.
What's not so great: Mine had minor dent in it when I opened it up - otherwise fine.
This powers my Crossfire Gigabyte EP45-DS3R motherboard with a Q9450 CPU with Zalman 9500 heatpipe cooler overclocked at 3.2Ghz runnining Windows Vista 64bit SP1. I have the ATI HD4850 with Zalman heatpipe fan, 8 Gbyte DDR2 Corsair PC6400C5DHX memory, ATI Theater 650 PCI and ATI Theater 650 PCIe for a Quad Tuner system, Sound Blaster X-FI Music PCI. 2ea 1TB drivesSATA (hardware raid), 1ea 750 Gbyte IDE drive, 2ea 120Gbyte SATA drives (hardware raid). Both a BluRay Burner and a separate DVD burner.
Prime 95 runs for Hours and Days without a hickup on my system.
Windows Vista Suspend to RAM mode works wonderfully. When my machine goes to sleep all the fans shut down, including the power supply and it appears to be fully shut down. With a single click to the mouse I'm right at my desktop ready to work again, all the fans turn back on and away I go.
I play very graphic intensive game, encode Video, burn BluRay and DVD's and watch movies. This power supply works wonderfully.
I don't know what the other posters were talking about, maybe only people with problems post here, as a majority.
I have built 2 systems with this power supply and both have been running for about the same amount of time without any PS related problems.
Three Thumbs up (like TiVO lol)

What's great about it: Modular cables are a breeze to hookup
What's not so great: Stability/Compatability
I purchased one of these to power my new game rig. After some initial testing, it was determined that it was bad. As soon as I started any graphic intensive game, poof, the power just shut off. Fine, went to BB, and exchanged it for a replacement. Installed the new one, SAME THING. Thought maybe it was my brand new hardware I got, so replaced all that, still same thing. Everyone I've talked to states it reeked of a PS issue. Tried a buddies PS, and worked fine. Althought I like how it looks, and the ease of installation, it was a real disappointment that it didn't live up to the visual it presented when installed. Stay away from this one. Looks to be the trend based on the previous messages.

What's great about it: It worked for awhile
What's not so great: It overheats easliy even with the new case I bought that gave it penty of space.
I purchased this power supply for my computer to replace one I had for 3 years.
It worked for awhile then it kept overheating and shutting itself down.
I figured it needed more room so I purhased a NZXT Whisper full tower that had a separate compartment with its own fan and it still kept overheating.
This supply has serious issues and I would not recommend it to anyone.
