"I hear a lot that people who like COD4 are looking for a new online shooter and this is the next best thing out there.
I will say for one COD4 is a faster pace game but the things you can do are endless on Bad Company.
The sound and graphics are amazing! and the story mode is funny, long, and a lot different than any other war game I have ever played before.
Online is a lot of fun also, the maps are big and theirs no laggy rooms or rooms the get closed like on COD4.
If your getting this game for the Online get the Gold edition, you get 5 guns that really helps you out online wise. If your not going to play it online just get the $[...] normal game.
The only thing I wish this game had was a way to do stuff with like a clan, things based on doing stuff with clans. Other than that I give this game 5 stars not just because I bought it, because it really deserves 5 stars."

"This game is great, but still it failed to replace the COD4 online multiplayer. I am sorry, but people who say people really work as a team in this game are mostly lying. I can't tell you how many times I played gold rush and my team didn't even try to complete the objectives of defending or attacking. That is the most annoying part about the multiplayer. Other than that, I won't repeat all the good things that have already been said about the game. It is worth the buy!"

"This game is 10 times better than COD4. The multiplayer maps are amazingly big. The multiplayer mode "Gold Rush" makes everybody work as a team if you want to complete the objectives and win the game, unlike COD4 nobody works as a team and is every man for himself. The story mode is way too short, although it was very good and fun to play through. The gold edition is worth buying, it comes with 5 weapons that you would normally get at rank 25. They give you a pretty good advantage over players who don't have them. This game is worth buying."

"this is the closest to the best game ever. i still think grand theft auto 4 is better, but this is still close. yoju can blow p so much stuff though, and it never gets old. there's also multiplayer which is pretty fun but gets old and there's not much modes. but if you have a ps3, you have to get grand theft auto 4 and bad company"

"I have been waiting to get this game since I first saw the trailer for it. Even though it came out to be about $80 final, it is worth it kinda. What's great about it: Plot of Campaign - Environmental Damage - Comedic Essence of Game
"Tired of getting to the part of the map that tries to send you through one door packed with tons of guys when you basically have no health left? Well... this game blows that type of gameplay away... literally! Do as you please and blow up what you want. Tree in the way? Tired of staring at that ugly looking building? No problem! Just point your gun and start blowing the crud out of it, that is, if you don't want to fly a chopper over instead. It may seem like that's a weird method, but when you blast a gaping hole in the side of a building, the enemies might be easier to reach. The campaign is hilarious and probably has the most inventive and interesting plot line ever put into an FPS game. Basically... you screwed up, so, as punishment, you're joining the B-Company who are all just like you; Idiots! With funny cutscenes and comedic writing throughout the game, Bad Company never fails to entertain, which is what all great games should do. The replay value of this game is superb. I usually only replay games that give me an option to do a little more after I've already beaten the game, like R&CF:TOD, but this game is just too fun to only witness once. The gold edition provides access to 5 guns, but don't be fooled that they're dedicated solely to the Gold Edition, they ARE available in the base version of the game. I just like to have the collector's kind. If you're looking for an FPS game, this one ranks right up there with the Call Of Duty franchise. For the beginner, the veteran, or just a patron of silliness, this game suits all styles and never ceases to impress. This is definately worth the dough you dish out for it, it's just up to you if you want to pay the little extra to make it a golden purchase! Get it, play it, and enjoy!

"Overall, this is definitely a great game to buy. Since GTA IV, this is the next one that I would put my hard earned money down on because it is simply worth it. I generally rent my games once or twice, beat them, then don't look back. But with some special games (GTA IV, Turok, Drake's Fortune, Ratchet and Clank, etc.) I don't feel done after going through all the levels, so I play again. This is one of those games. When you are done with it, you still don't feel done, and the second time playing it seemed even more fun to me than the first. Cool."

"I would have to say that this game is better than all other shooter game. It is not really a kill them shootem as fast as you can, you have to put a little straegy into it. Everything is realistic,for Ex: when you go to fly the helicopter you have to wieght a second to let it start up. The maps are very big and you can spond in a different place everytime so people cant always kill you. The best thing is the veritety of weapons, explosives, vehicles, gunner mount, ect... and everything is so detailed. There are no cons in the game execpt that when you get shot or injured your screen goes some what blury but it is not that much of an issue, I actually kinda like it. Definetly worth the 60 bucks."

"This game is great, especially the destructable backround (i.e. trees, buildings etc.). Several vehicles including a helicopter which is great addition. The only thing I wouldn't do is buy the gold edition. I bought it and the extra weapons that come with it, that you don't get until level 25 with the normal copy, aren't that great. Those weapons carry less damage and accuracy than the others you get from the start. Don't waste the 10 bucks."

"Good game, not as good as BF2. Dissapointed a little expected more. Destructable background is great. Biggest issue with game is the killing it doesn't take 6 .308 rounds to kill someone, or .223, .762 ect... I want to be able to lock my squad so only my friends are in my squad. Graphics are good and I like that they eliminated revive, and ammo suppliers. All around pretty good, could of been better."

"Since the demo launched, I've been losing a lot of sleep over the online "Gold Rush." Not since Star Wars: Battlefront 2 have I found an online shooter so deliciously addicting. The DICE Frostbite engine delivers jaw-dropping HD graphics and destructable environment. Mastering the various vehicles should be your first goal as they will come in very handy when traversing the huge maps. Each vehicle allows two or more players, one to drive and others to man the mounted guns. Vehicles range from fastboats to tanks to helicopters. The attention to detail is amazingly realistic, and you will fee like you are in an actual war zone. The only drawback, if there is one, is that for coordinated teamwork you really need to have a headset. This is a definite buy for 2008."

"The limited edition includes more guns then the regular game thats about it.
This is a very huge project. One of my friends that works on this game told me lots about things that they will have in it and it just sounds too much. Well 1st of all a new company is stepping up called "frostbite" they are the new engine for the battlefield. This engine allows a full destruction of the world no metter what it is. Ground, buildings, trees, vehicles. They have a big arsenal of weapons that thay are working on right now. The multiplayers is going to be huge with big maps and about 24 players online. The campaign he said will be long enought to enjoy it. You are a private in the army that messes up his mission. And now you are being moved to the B-company which is basicly bunch of idiots that made same mistakes as you did. And now it is up to you to fix you mistakes to get moved back to your squad but it will not be easy since all the missions they give you are imposible to servive through. Well there is an out line for this game hope this comment helped thank you."
