What's great about it: Range is good. What's not so great: We used the radio to do a church play. We needed silent communication. It wasn't.
"The radio's still broadcast with the earbuds in and the power saver continually produced a loud "clicking" noise. It was so annoying we could not stand to have the radio on - which essentially defeats it's purpose. The instructions for the radio is very limited and there are not on-line instruction we could find. We are returning these before our next production tomorrow. If someone wants silent communication - forget it."

What's great about it: Easy to setup, clear sounds, private channel (in this price) What's not so great: batteries, charger
"Just got a pair from Bestbuy and did a very brief testing.
Good: Very easy to setup. Clear sound, looks nice and compact. And this is maybe the only one has private channel in this level of price. Many fun features. Even has a Scan function. Very worth the money.
Bad: This model doesn't show anything about you batteries status. So basically you don't know how much power left unless in "low battery" status (it has a "low battery alert"). This is very inconvenience.
Also, when charing the batteries with the devide. It doesn't provide a sign "it's in charge". So you have to make sure your adapter is really pluged in and working. Otherwise, you don't know.
Because of this defect, i don't suggest you to totally rely on this device in the wild. Or, always bring extra batteries with you.
Overall, it's worth the price. Can be used in everyday life. But, if you want to go into wild, you need a better one."

What's great about it: Clear sound. Small Lightweight design What's not so great: Short Battery Life
"I bought these to use on jobsites for work. Talking to coworkers in a multi-floor building is not a problem. We also do work at power plants and there is no interference with the high voltage lines and the communications capabilities of the radios. The only thing is the battery life isn't the best (have to charge them every night) and there is not a car charger accessory available."
Serves purpose

What's great about it: Easy operation What's not so great: None really.
"Purchased for a road trip out west with 2 cars since we knew we would have no cell reception. I have no complaints, they served their purpose like champs. Batteries didn't drain too fast and got to talk to some nice truckers. Only thing is the 14 miles is line-of-sight, so if you get about 10 miles apart and there is, oh say, a butte in between you, it'll break up. But no-big."
