What's great about it: Love it, easy to navigate
What's not so great: easily calls when its in my pocket

"Great phone, love it, easy to navigate, track ball is great, the thing i dont like is it easily calls, unless i lock it, which is a pain to lock, but will accidently dial from my phone book. Google is a bit of a pain, and i dont know how to jump from google to email without loosing that google page. Not ready for iphone yet, waiting for them to get all the bugs out, then i will try the iphone."

"The Blackberry does not have a touch screen which makes it hard to check on emails and other applications. Your best bet would be to pick up a treo, it has all the options."

"Overall this is a great phone. There are A LOT of features on it. You can do basically anything on it. It does take some time to get used to the layout but with so many features it has to be a little more complicated. I am very happy with this phone!!"

What's great about it: does everything i ever wanted a phone to do + more!
What's not so great: for first time PDA users a little confusing

"i was very hesitant whether to go with a black jack, plam or a blackberry, I needed a phone with internet usage and the qwerty keyboard was a must. I researched both of them and talked to people who had each one... I finally went with the Blackberry and it exceeded my expectations!!!.. internet use is very easy and the camera is great! i love the speaker phone and I instantly get all my school emails, a great plus.. This was my first PDA phone so I was not very familiar with all the applications that I can use on it.. So far ive had it for about 2 months and I love it! Im still learning about things I can do with it though, i would say before you purchase it make sure you just research on the applications and extras."

What's great about it: Lightweight; good camera; good interface.
What's not so great: Not great battery life for heavy users.

"This has been a great phone. The camera, as far as camera phones go, is pretty good quality. The video camera is decent as well. It will also serve as an mp3 players. I used it working out prior to purchasing an iPod nano.
One of my favorite parts of this phone is the interface. Easy to navigate. Also easy to receive your personal e-mail (gmail, yahoo, comcast, etc.) on there, but obviously compatible with an enterprise server as well.
The only downside I've found is that the battery life isn't great for heavy users, but it should still get you through a day of use.
Overall a great buy!"

"This is a Really great phone. you can listen to music on it and setup all your emails on it including yahoo and hotmail. it is a really hard phone to use but once you get used to it is the best phone you ever had. i recommend buying a micro memory stick because it only has around 50 megabytes on it."

What's great about it: Easy to learn,Changable text size,wide screen
What's not so great: Small Buttons if you have big fingers, cant use outlook with it.

"I finally jumped on the Blackberry bandwagon and got a Curve. The overall use of the phone is very easy to get once you understand that the phone has 2 main buttons do anything. I found it easy to setup my email and update the address book with more detail then I had in my previous phone.
The phone will play MP3's as ringtones and that was a huge plus to me.
The software that comes with it is easy to use. The software will convert pictures files to the right size to fit the screen which i found very nice.
There are a ton of accessories out there for this phone and you can find them relatively in-expensive."

I LOVE THIS PHONE!!! 06/22/2008

What's great about it: Full-feature, quick Internet browsing, lots of add-on apps, $29.99 data plan from VZW
What's not so great: Bulky...if you like a small phone. Kind of cheap feeling for BlackBerry.

"This is the best phone ever! I bit the bullet to buy it when it recently went on sale, and I don't regret it for one second. I was not a big fan of the Pearl because it has lots of issues, and the 8830 is huge...too big for me! SO...the Curve was the perfect alternative.
It is extremely lightweight, thanks to the extensive amount of flimsy plastic used in the housing of the phone. Still, if you open the phone, you will find lots of metal on the inside...that inspired lots of confidence in its quality and durability.
The display on the phone is crystal clear, and it is extremely responsive--even better than the Samsung Gylde and the LG Venus. I appreciate that this phone moves as fast as I do so that I don't have to wait when I press a button.
Lots of people are scared of the coplexity of Blackberry's. I say...don't fret! They are much simpler to use than they seem, and I think that without question, they are the best brand of PDA! I have not had any issues with mine, and I have used it extensively already and with several new applications. Service is also great!
I definitely recommend a memory card for your pics and video and ringtones! I rarely used my camera on my LG8700, but I have found that this camera works great, and I have been using it more. Also...you can watch YouTube videos directly from your phone!
One thing I found out the hard way...if you use AIM instant messenger, it does not go silent when you silence the phone...LOL. I may have just missed something, but it surely did chirp in a meeting! At least I now now...
All I have to say is...what do you have to lose??? With VZW's 30 day return policy...you can always take it back if you're dissatisfied. BUT...I don't think you will be!"
