What's great about it: Love the fit and size.
What's not so great: Function buttons are too close to the joystick.

"I bought the controller because of the design. When I used it, I could not control the characters on screen and had to keep pressing the "classic" button. What a mess! Ending up unplugging it, and replacing it with the regular controller. I'll keep it for guests, but I won't use it again. Waste of money--stick with the regular Wii controllers."

What's great about it: Feels comfortable to use.
What's not so great: Cheaply made; shorts out the Wiimote; Customer service is AWOL.

"AVOID THIS PRODUCT AND THIS MANUFACTURER

I originally bought this knock-off Wii nunchuk when the store was sold out of Nintendo branded nunchuks. The price was the same for both the Nintendo Wii nunchuck and the Datel Edge controller ($19.99). The edge controller worked intermittently during the first few months, but would lock up the Wiimote at random times so neither would work. I think it shorted the Wiimote out based on the symptoms.

Calling Datel customer support proved to be a maze of pre-recorded menus, none of which were for the Edge controller. I was able to eventually find a menu that allowed me to "press to to speak with a representative." After 5 minutes of being on hold waiting for a live person the system forced me to a general voice mailbox and ended the call.

I guess I just wasted $20."

What's not so great: none

"This is a great alternative to buying the Nintendo wii nunchuck. It is cheaper and larger which is great for adults. I found the original nunchuck just a little small.

Build quality seems great, it should last me a long time."

What's great about it: comfort, price

"Need an extra nunchuck controller or a replacement? This one you should get. It is a bit larger than the Nintendo version which makes it easier to hold for longer periods and it costs less as well. So far I have had this for a couple of months and no problems at all."

Great Nunchuck - Better Price 05/20/2008

What's great about it: Price, works just like my Nintendo Nunchuck

"I just stopped into Best Buy to buy a replacement Nunchuck for my son's Wii last week - he broke the original one I bought for him somehow unfortunately.

Fortunately for me, I ran across this Datel version that was $5 cheaper than Nintendo's version. Not only was it a great price, it is a little bigger and my son actually likes it better than the original one he had because it fits his hand better.

I can't find any difference in how this works versus the original version, so for me, this was a great deal."
