What's great about it: Great Keyboard, Nice style What's not so great: Front screen breaks easily, unlocks easily.
"Less then a month into owning this phone the front screen got a pressure fracture rendering that screen useless. It was never droped or abused and I have never had it happen on a phone before. The phone unlocks super easily and I end up dialing numbers but I have heard there is software to fix that and I will be checking that out. I also have the original Envy and I love it works perfectly in every way (bought it in April)."

What's not so great: buttons; scratches easily; sensitive speakers;
"everyone ive talked to about this phone has had the same problems as me. the buttons on the outside sometimes dont work. (as of right now my SEND, 7, 8, and 9 buttons do not work. most of the time the OK button does not work causing the outside to be completely unusable considering the OK button unlocks it). the silver sides are completely fading. not from being scratched. it is all becoming thinner. it looks horrible. and then one day out of nowhere it would not function as a phone. i recieved a call and answered it. there was a lot of static and i could barely hear the other person. they could not hear me at all. i didnt know if it was the service, the phone, or maybe just a bad connection. then i tried to record something and the sound came out as static and thats all. thats how i figured out it had something to do with the speakers. the speakers didnt record anything. i did not get this phone wet, drop it, or play any loud music from it. the speaker issue was completely out of nowhere."

"This is a great phone if you like to text. It is smaller then some with a QWERTY keyboard, but I find that an advantage. Plus the phone doesn't have issues with multiple key presses.
Great battery life. Useful expansion with the MicroSD card (up to 8Gigs). And not a bad music player. And Verizon's Get it Now does offer some useful applications that work great on the device. This is a big improvement over previous generations (The V and the enV).
There are a few bugs, and the front keypad is way too easily unlocked (leading to pocket dialing). But that is resolved with a software update available from Verizon."

What's great about it: Sleek, battery life good, great features, bright screens What's not so great: Beside the look, not much difference from first enV
"Upgraded with Verizon a month ago and decided to choose this baby. No complaints really so far, battery life is great, don't have to charge it too often. Dual screens are big and bright and clear. QWERTY keyboard is effective and roomy. Features and call quality great. Excellent upgrade/phone to choose."

What's great about it: Battery, Design, Outer Keypad, Inner Display, Stereo Speakers, Bluetooth
"Just days after purchasing this phone, the price dropped to $99 U.S. dollars, so I returned to Best Buy and they happily refunded the difference.
This phone is amazing:
1. Battery - Full charge can go several days with full use of phone functions including the camera functions, camcorder functions and Bluetooth fully enabled.
2. Design - This phone turns heads!! I was at the Apple 5th Avenue store and the Apple folks who sell the iPhone really liked the design of the EnV2 - when asked, I said I bought it at Best Buy.
3. Outer Keypad - This is the best keypad for dialing I have ever owned - so good in fact, I might not upgrade in the next cycle (New phone every two years).
4. Inner Display - Remarkable details, vivid colors, the awesome and realistic stereo audio is just remarkable for it's amazing size.
5. Stereo Speakers - Just outstanding - This is so good, I am not going to download a single ringtone - I am very happy with the supplied ringtones - the sounds are almost 3D (I could hear depth in the audio, not just a flat recording).
6. Bluetooth - Without touching the manual, this phone paired with my car for a 100% hands-free driving experience so good, I enjoy talking on my phone in the car than on the phone itself.
7. Non-Slip Backing - This feature makes the phone feel secure in my hands.
8. Pocket Friendly - No bulging heavyweight phone like my old Samsung.
In conclusion, this is without the best phone Verizon Wireless carries - no phone can compare to the well designed, intelligently engineered, well tested phone on the planet.
When I am eligible for my next upgrade, I just may skip it and simply stay with this phone.
There has never been a phone so good, I had to write a product review praising it so much.
Recommended: Highly"

best phone i've had

What's great about it: small size, great battery life, full of features What's not so great: bluetooth
"this phone does everything i want in addition to being a great phone. It's easy to use all the standard features (dialing, contacts, messages) from the front screen. If you don't like the small front screen, flip it open. The keyboard is big enough for me, i have big hands and didn't like the krzr's buttons at all. I haven't texted before with a phone but no do often. The music option is easy to access and works well, put the songs on a card, insert card and play all. speakers are loud enough for sharing with a few people. optional navigation is great since i really don't need it very often. it's not worth it to me to have a standalone unit when this works so easily. the only issue i've had is with bluetooth devices. when you are outside the range is only about a foot (at least when steaming music) i'm not sure if this is the phone or my headset (motorokr) but i know many other people who have the same thing with no problems. overall, i'm very impressed with the phone and would recommend it to someone who is looking for a small compact phone with ease of use and all the extras"
