What's great about it: picture quality, 120hz, 50,000 : 1 contrast ratio.
What's not so great: no Picture in Picture

"I just purchased this Television and the xbox 360 elite from best buy and have been playing in 1080p! picture quality is amazing and so crisp. i have heard people complain about the sound however i have no complaints myself. i really like the sensor on the TV for on and off power, my friends are all amazed. honestly for the money this TV cannot be beat. i paid $899 for it with free shipping. i know the price has gone up a bit cuz i got mine on sale but you would have to pay $2000 or more for a worse TV that has a brand name. no TV can match the features this tv has with the price tag."

"I lived in asia for about 8 years and I know LG very well....outstanding products come from this outstanding company..and they got it right again with this lcd..I spent $900- on this set...crazy! 50,000-1 contrast is right there with the plasma, and the 120hz refresh rate with full 1080p hd and four hdmi ports, and much more for $900!!! I love this set..A couple of my friends spent over $2000 for 120hz, 40in samsungs and sonys with 20,000-25,000-1 (cant remember)contrast ratio. I gave up 3in with the 37 but got a much better tv for $900- and the picture quality is insane! BEST DEAL OUT THERE....HANDS DOWN..."

What's great about it: Super picture, easy set up, quality features, great price

"This TV is awesome! I don't know how else to put it. The picture quality is second to none. It was very easy to set up, only taking about 15 minutes. The sound features are pretty cool as well. You can adjust the sound for movies so it's easier to hear the voices with all the background noise going on. Nice feature! The only thing I had a slight problem with is the stand. You can only set the stand one direction, so it sets back into my cabinet a little ways, not allowing for side viewing very well. Other than that I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone!"

"The LG Scarlet is by far the best t.v I have ever purchased. The quailty and design is sleek and off the charts. I have never owned a hdtv or flat panel lcd. I had a tube t.v n we all know those suck so when i bought this tv it jus blew my mind. Its an all round ten I would reccomend to anyone."

What's great about it: TV itself is easy on the eyes, great picture, easy to set up

"Just got this TV tonight. It was very easy to set up. The bracket slips into the TV, which is a great feature. The base swivels, which my old TV didn't. The placement of the jacks in the back is also an improvement over my old model. Looking over the top of the TV, I can actually see what the cords are going into. The power button is really neat; you can look completely through it. It's basically a window. The lack of an s-video port really stinks. They should have included one on the side aux inputs. I can't comment on the sound because I am using the digital out to hook it to my receiver, although having both coax and optical out is a nice touch."

What's great about it: 120hz refresh rate @ 37" Inches
What's not so great: in-built speaker sound

"The reason I bought this TV over other 37" inch brands in the market was the fact that it had 120hz refresh rate and full 1080p HD. I do a lot of gaming and the best refresh rate and resolution was critical. Sports and Action Movies look excellent with no blur during fast action scenes. The Red and Black colors on the LCD are beautiful. Excellent contrast ratio, but you may need to turn it down a bit, but it's still colorful and vibrant, the screen just pops. I hooked up my Sony Playstation 3 to it via HDMI and I was blown away. All games play at 1080p res. All BD movies at 1080p. The characters on the screen sometimes look so real. LOL! But on the down sound and I'm going to be honest, the in-built speakers are kind of shabby. When you turn up the volume loud it kind of vibrate and they don't sound that great, but it's not a big deal. I suggest you connect to an HDMI Home theater system. I also suggest you use HDMI for all cabling. Overall I love the LG60!!"

What's not so great: Could use mor features like PIP and the bass must be lowered if watching TV on a loud Volume setting

"Just bought this TV for $899.99 Same Price as the 37LG50 but way better quality. Got a free chair too. The deal was great, the TV is even better. I seen the same TV in other stores for $1399.97. The Picture is amazing and the sound quality is great on low volumes. Only complaint really is that there is no PIP."

"This Tv is a very great product for the price you cannot go wrong on this high end LG product. This TV has 4 hdmi inputs which is more than enough. The PC input is great for my computer looks better than the monitor I used to have. Every thing is sharper and brighter. This tv is great for games nice full definition and faster screen refresh rate for fast moving movies. Although I couldn't find any picture in picture this tv would have been even better with the PIP option. Overall this TV is a must have for anybody using for movies or gameing."

What's great about it: Amazing picture, easy setup

"This TV was perfect for what I needed. The TruMotion (120 hz) works well for sports and regular TV shows, and I have the option to turn it off when I watch movies. Paying the little bit extra to get the 37LG60 (Scarlett) over the 37LG50 was worth the money, and I got it on sale for $1339!

The only small issue I have is the sound, which is a side-effect of any flat-screen. I can hear some slight distortion when I turn the sound up to about 70 when watching a movie or high-action TV show. If you have your own sound system this won't matter; but even if you don't, the sound is still great until you take it up that high. The picture and all of the options on this TV outweigh that small issue quite a bit. This TV is definately worth the extra money!"

What's great about it: picture quality, number of inputs, auto sound
What's not so great: none so far

"I bought this item a month ago. The picture is exceptional, the auto sound stops the commercials from coming on louder than the program. So many hmdi and other inputs for anything you have to hook up. The sound quality is great you don't need to hook up surround sound. It's nice to be able to plug in a memory device and show the pictures on screen. I haven't hooked up the pc yet.
I researched a lot of flat screens before I bought this one and it has paid off. The four year inhouse warranty was very reasonable."
