SynopsisIt seemed like a perfectly ordinary day for 15-year-old Neku Sakuraba, one of many in an ordinary lifetime. Then he woke up unexpectedly in Tokyo's Shibuya shopping district. Before he had time even to grasp the situation, let alone figure out why he'd ended up there, he received a strange text message: If he doesn't complete a certain mission, he will cease to exist. Now he's racing through the streets of Shibuya, confronting threats the likes of which he's never imagined in pursuit of a cryptic goal that he hopes will unravel the mystery of how he came to appear in Shibuya and keep him from disappearing entirely. Do you have the wits and the courage to help him complete his mission and ensure his very existence? The World Ends with You is a dark and dangerous thrill ride brought to you by the creators of the award-winning Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts franchises. Immerse yourself in the fast-paced culture of modern-day Japan with graphics in the distinctive modern art style of renowned character designer Tetsuya Nomura. Fight for your life in innovative combat sequences where you can control two characters simultaneously and launch special attacks using your stylus. Unleash psychic abilities with the help of custom-designed pins you collect over the course of the game. Feel your heart pound as you prowl the mysterious streets of Shibuya to the accompaniment of a hard-driving soundtrack that combines hip-hop, rock and electronica.

Pros: Everything Cons: I think i may have arthritis from playing so much
"its a friday afternoon and i have just recieved payment for watching the neighbors cats
I do what any sensible 15 year old nerd does, go to best buy to buy games!
i see a game in the back "The world ends with you"
I have heard good things, so i decide to pick up a copy.
I sit down on my bed, stylus in hand.
I stand back up in the dark, very groggy and confused, (not to mention in desperate need of a shave) and at lvl 50 something to find i have been confirmed legally dead for a month.
I can not put this game down.
Not only is the storyline compelling, but the replayability is so awesome!
i have to get every pin there is to get (i just got my LEO pin, woot ^_^)
i cant stop playing! im not at lvl 100 (or doubble star) and i play on ultimate mode, i still have oodles and oodles of fun!"

Good Game

Pros: Fun, challenging, good story Cons: Remembering details, skill usage
"Squaresoft has a knack for producing some good games. I like the story and the battles are fun. It also provides puzzles which you have to solve. The fighting in battles can get annoying but at least it is not difficult to level. I also love how your skills known as "pins" in the game level up when you do not play, making it easier to level. The slightly annoying part is remembering everything such as the equips you wear can either be stronger or weaker depending on popularity as well as how to use your skill. Easy to overlook those minor flaws because the game is fun. I would definitely recommend this to any fan of Squaresoft or anyone looking for a good game!"

One of the top games on the DS.

Pros: An all around awesome game Cons: It can get difficult, and only one save space
"This is one awesome and stylish game for anyone looking for a great Action RPG. The battles take place on both screens and use both stylus and game pad. It sounds hard at first but once you get further into the game, it becomes second nature. The graphics aren't what you call the best on the DS but its art style is second to none on the handheld. And the best is the music, one of the best game soundtracks to hit any handheld (and if you like the music, then check out Itunes for the soundtrack and remix version). This is one of the best games on the DS this year, and with games like Crono Trigger DS, Rhythm Heaven and the next castlevania hitting the system this year thats is really hard to say."

Pros: Use of Stylus Cons: none for me
"This game is awesome I would recommend this to a lot of people I know. I love the use of the stylus it's just not sitting in the holder because you don't need it like some of other games I know. Plus I bet if your a Kingdom Hearts fan you probably already bought this. This game just draws me back to it when I can't play it. I love it. Awesome buy 5/5."

Pros: complexity, functions, music & sounds Cons: hard for who's not good at action games
"i bought it at the first day it was issued and it didnt make me disappointed i like its complexity, and variety at most and looks like it has an intelligent program even if you leave it without doing anything (after the first play) do you believe that it has an effect WOW!!! INCREDIBLE...
however, i rarely play action games but this game require a plenty of skill to use a stylus in fighting so it's really hard for me when i have to fight in other hand, it's practice your stylus using skill"

"The game had magnificent music! There are Japanese and English music, and both had great rhythm! The graphics are amazing, and you can even buy clothing! You get pulled into the story and that makes you want to play even more!"
