I'm really pleased with these! I've had them for about 6 months, and I've been re-discovering my music collection! Great realism and clarity! Great presence, depth, and power! It doesn't take much imagination to feel like the musicians are right there in front of you, and with some music, or with some movie soundtracks, the floor shakes. I got the cherry finish, and they have a really classy look! They replace my JBL ten-inch three-way tower system with 10-inch passive radiators. I'm using a 100 watt per channel Sony receiver, and an 8-inch Sony sub-woofer. I would like to upgrade to the matching Polk Audio sub-woofer. But for the time being, I couldn't be happier.

What's great about it: Great sound right out of the box.
What's not so great: Nothing bad about these speakers.
I am very pleased with these speakers. When purchasing these I was trying to decide between a 5.1 system with bookshelf speakers or simply two towers. I do watch movies, but I mainly wanted new speakers to listen to music. So, I went with the two towers. I am really glad I made the choice I did. The sound quality is simply amasing, best speakers I have ever heard. I am running these with a Yamaha reciever I bought with an out-of-the-box 5.1 system, and the sound quality is excellent. I cannot wait to hear what they sound like when I finally invest in a really good reciever. There is no need for a powered sub with these speakers, they really hit hard.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: quick & easy to set up,excellent value
What's not so great: i can't find anything negative abiut product
i hooked up these speakers to my old kenwood 80wpc recvr and boy was i in for a shock. the tonal response for voices is very lifelike. the bass is phenominal. all instruments sound like live recordings. i used these to replace my good old advent heritage towers . i made a wise choice.
I would recommend this to a friend!
