What's great about it: Easy to use, pictures are good.
What's not so great: Super short life on battery for video
"This camera is only good for photos. This camera sucks when it comes to videos. As soon as you put in new (2) AAA batteries, and you go to make a video, it sucks all the battery life in 5 mins, not even. I didn't think it was possible. Save up to buy a better camera with video that doesn't suck all the battery life in 5mins."

It broke easily

What's great about it: Easy to use, Great price, Good for kids 8-15, cool designs, great pictues and videos
What's not so great: Short battery life, thing that plugs into the computer gets pushed in, doesnt have enough memory
"Its great for children like me i love to use it but it broke so im getting a new one but i do love it. the thing that you plug the little end into broke but that was my fault"

What's great about it: Easy to use, Durable, Inexpensive
What's not so great: Memory Card falls out easily, inconsistent pic quality
"This is a great first camera for a child.
We purchased this for our 6 year old son for him to take pictures on vacation. He loves it. He uses it a lot. It has quite a few features, and he has been able to master most of the features. He especially enjoys the timer, so he too can get in the shot. We download the pictures for him, which is fairly easy to do. He has frequently dropped it, it's been used in wet conditions, and it has been surprising durable. It is small and lightweight.
There are a few cons. We use transparent tape to hold the memory card in, as it falls out when the camera is jarred. There is only the screen (no optic view finder), which means going through batteries more quickly. However, 2 sets of lithium AAA generally last a week of taking a couple hundred pics. We can buy AAA batteries anywhere (as opposed to special rechargeable), and we don't need to worry about our son plugging things into an outlet to charge his camera. This camera is not as forgiving to bad lighting; often the flash is not bright enough or too bright (washing out the pic). It doesn't handle motion well (taking a picture of a moving object, or moving when taking a picture of a still object). The quality of pics is ok, as long as the print size is 4x6 or smaller.
All in all, it has been a great camera for our son. I would recommend it for grade school age children. For my own personal use as an adult, I prefer a better quality camera that more consistently takes better quality pics with more megapixels; however, it may be good for situations where you would fear losing or damaging a more expensive camera."

"We bought this for our sons 8th bday and he loves it. Downloading is easy, cons would be flash setting. Some pics are light in contrast. outdoor and motion pics are great otherwise just turn the light on.
As far as batteries go, I learned not to long ago that with children and the amount of controllers, toys and rc cars that u MUST invest in rechargeable batteries. For $20 buck u get energizer charger and a set of AA and AAA batteries. We have uploaded about 200 pics + and still going on 1 single charge. BEST INVESTMENT!
WE LOVE THIS CAMERA, there is not a day that goes by that he does not use it."

Takes Low-Quality Pictures

"This camera is very cute, but it produces very low-quality pictures and is generally not worth the money. The flash needs to be on to take most pictures, but it burns through the batteries extremely quickly and also makes the pictures far too bright."

Don't buy this!

What's great about it: lightweight, small, cool design
What's not so great: battery, hardly any features, flash too bright
"You get what you pay for! I figured how bad could this be? Well, I made the wrong decision with this purchase. The flash is WAY too bright....and you can't adjust it either. The pictures don't turn out good with flash unless you are far far away from it (cause everything is just so light). Pictures taken outside turned out pretty good though, but didn't upload to my computer so don't know for sure how good they really were. After using it for about 30 mins, the busy light just stays on, like it's locked up, so you can't change the flash settings or do anything. Nothing we do can get the busy light to turn off. So, this one is going back and I am not getting another one.
But, if you are looking for something for taking pictures outdoors then this would be ok, I guess."

What's great about it: Easy to use and get started right away - you know they can't wait anyways.
What's not so great: No sound on the camera to hear your videos, must hook it up to the computer
"This is a great camera for budding photographers and youtube video wanna be's. We bought this for our son's 13th birthday and he could not be more pleased. We also purchased a memory card so that he would have enough memory for videos that the camera can take, I would highly recommend doing this, the camera itself doesn't have enough room for long videos."

Good Camera for the Money

What's great about it: Great photos and video with sound. Easy to use, lightweight, etc.
What's not so great: Runs on two AAA batteries, which are run down in no time. Also, batteries and memory card are not included.
"I bought this camera because I wanted a cheap one that I could take on a wild vacation to Jamaica. That way if it was broken, it will not be a big deal. This one is perfect for that. It's durable and takes good shots. Also, it is somewhat water-resistant (I don't know if that is advertised). It's a good cheap camera, but what you save by getting this model, you will spend on batteries to use it."
