Worst printer ever

What's great about it: Pictures / images look great when it works, ink is cheap
What's not so great: Hardly ever works
"I have had this printer for over a year and I have had issues with it from day one. It looks great sitting on my desk and the ink is cheap but that's about all the good I can say about it. I am going to sell it in the next garage sale and buy something else, it may even be another Kodak but it surly will never be this one again."

What's great about it: Ink is not expensive
What's not so great: Prints times are blatently wrong, does
"I have been using this printer for about 10 months for work and I can flat out say I do not recommend this printer at all. Unless you do almost no printing each month, this will be a waist of money. I handle public affairs in my department, hence I do a lot of photo and word processing printing, usually 4-5 times a week. I can, say personally that unless your monthly requirement will be about or less than 30 pages a month, regardless of color or black and white, you will not be pleased
It jams on me about twice a week, its print quality deteriorates over time, its scan function is poor at best and it is never reliable. I highly recommend anywhere else but here."

What's great about it: absolutely nothing
What's not so great: everything
"This printer is terrible. The quality of prints at first was not bad but after a short period of time the quality became terrible. Most times when I'm printing the ink seems to fade and half the page does not print. I have an old HP printer that prints beautifully and I fell for the "savings" on the ink. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I absolutely would not recommend this product and will never buy anything Kodak again."

"This is the worst printer that I have every had. I have had it for less than a year and have gone through 5 printheads. This is the last time I will buy a Kodak printer."

What's great about it: Photo Quality, Easy to setup.
What's not so great: paper jam, loud, goes through alot ink!
"I paid $99 at the store few months back. Now its $149. Printer and scanner worked great but paper started to jam and now everytime I print the picture comes out faded and after installing new ink cartridges and trying to clean the nozzles and realignment still nothing changed."

A poor investment

What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Cartridges are good for about 20 sheets. The print quality is only fair. Vastly overpriced.
"This printer is touted as having the cheapest cartridges but in the long run that's just not true. It seems like every time I print out more than a few pages it's out of ink. I do little printing but I get about 4 weeks out of a black cartridge.
A very poor bargain for the money, avoid it like the plague.
I'm giving mine away to the Hospice store and will buy something else.."

"This is the absolute worst printer I've ever worked with. EXTREMELY loud in everything it does. Not worth the amount you save on ink... by a long shot! Also, frequent paper jams (about 1 out of 5 jobs)."

"I have had this printer for about a year. I had VERY high hopes when I purchased this printer, it was my first Kodak printer. But... I have had it replace 3 times and to date, I have not used it for the past 3 months because I cannot print anything with black in it and the paper jams constantly. As we speak I am going to purchase a new printer, because this one has be VERY unreliable. Don't waste your money."

What's great about it: cheap ink, all in one, nice photo print
What's not so great: everything else, broken down like 3 times in a year, constant paper jams,
"It was fine for a little while but has very poor quality. It gets paper jams and recently a paper jam broke the printer. I am so careful with putting paper in it which is ridiculous. It won't let you print unless you have a sufficent amount of black and colored ink even if you are only using black ink which most of the world is usually doing.
This thing just sucks. Its cheap ink but not worth the stress it puts you through. my mental health is worth more than $9.99"

What's not so great: Paper jams easily
"After the first few months it printed excellent photo's, then it started slipping and got to the point that no picture or document had the right colors.
Paper jams when printing are often and have now gotten to the point where the printer no longer is even working. The printer is only a year old and is going to be replaced with a non Kodak brand."

What's great about it: Everything. Easy to set up, use and great quality, no to mention cheap ink!
What's not so great: Nothing
"I replaced a Canon printer with this one, the Canon cannot even compare to it. Digiatal screen gives easy instructions. Wireless works great. Fast printing. Quality priniting even on photo paper, and the color cartridge is HUGE! My old printer cost me $50 to replace the cartridges........this one, $23!
Works great! I would recommend it!"

What's not so great: Haven't found a problem, yet.
"I had to print my own detailed manual, but after I did that, this is a breeze. I used to have a printer dock with my camera and just love this to death. The only problem has been finding stores that have the photo paper I need. Great pictures, you can zoom in or out and crop. I just love it for my family albums!"

Never had a worse printer

What's great about it: NOTHING!
What's not so great: bad quality, very irratic, uses as much ink as any printer
"I was excited for this printer. My HP had veen having some trouble and wouldn't print anymore (after a couple years of use) so it was time for something new. Loved the idea of spending less on ink. Don't love it anymore. I would say that it must use less ink because the prints come out so terrible (always has streaks through every print.) And I would say that I have to buy ink just as often as any printer I have ever had. The printer worked ok for about two weeks. Then after that it has been a nightmare. Every time I print I have to clean the printheads before or the colors come out without any yellow or green. I hate this printer. Kodak makes an ok camera but they can't make a printer and I will never buy one of theirs again!"

Frustrating printer

What's great about it: The scanner has some nice features.
What's not so great: The printer sucks in 2 or 3 pages every time it starts to print or it can't detect the paper edge and refuses to print.
"I have had this printer for several months and tried to find things to like about it. There just aren't any. Every time I print something I am irritated because it sucks in several sheets of paper and then throws them all over the floor. It was a waste of money."

Terrible product

What's great about it: It prints fast
What's not so great: Terrible quality for printing pictures and it goes through the ink almost overnight
"I have had this piece of junk for 2 years now. I bought it to print pictures from my digital camera. As it turned out, I have not tried to print pictures until just recently and that is when I found out that it does a terrible job. The pitures are not clear and the color is off. It prints the pictures with a strong purple tint. You have to clean the heads virtually after every use so they don't clog up on you. Kodak did send me a new set of heads to replace my first set that failed shortly after buying the produt. If you print documents, it does a fine job. If you use the copier, it does not do a good job at all. It copies very faint. Overall, I totally wasted my money on this piece of junk. I am now looking to buy an HP product to replace this printer.
I have spoke to some other owners of this product and they are experiencing the same problems as I am."

"Very Noisy, bad printing right from the start, if you let sit for a week or two print head dries up, and also to contradict there commercals gulps down the ink,Oh but the replacement are cheap, Ha Ha"

What's great about it: professional document and photo printing.
What's not so great: nothing
"I use two of the Kodak printers and have found the ink usage and quality of my prints (photo and documents) to be of excellent - professional quality. I do approximately 2-300 pages per day and do not have any complaints. I did replace the printhead once, but it was sent free of charge overnight."
