What's great about it: No Virus', comes with all software I need
What's not so great: Nothing

"I used to use Windows for years, and decided to give this a try. The iMac suprised me beyond comprehinsion. I love how clean it looks, everything is built in, and all the software is included. Best of all, its fast, and secure. NO VIRUS'!!! NO SPYWARE!!! What a relief! If your thinking about doing the switch to Apple, Go for it! This is an amazing Desktop!"

"One of the best things about this computer is that i can use Photoshop with it and my cmputer wont freeze up. I can be on photoshop CS3, itunes, safari, and ichat; and the computer won't slow down one bit. It runs so fast. I was shocked on how much 1gb of ram can go to. And the interface is the best. I mean its so elegant and clean. Ichat is really useful.

Buy it Now;; Don't Spend No More TIme

What's great about it: Its so easy to use
What's not so great: Itunes has a couple of issues

"I wouldn't buy anything but a Mac. I bought it, went home plugged it in and it was ready go.
it doesn't get any easier than that.. Love the big monitor. Im having fun just learning what this thing can do. Its so easy to use!"

"I've been a PC user my whole life. This year I started Med School and I realized that most of the students had MacBooks. I started wondering what was so special about Macs that many people were leaving their PCs behind to make the change. So I decided to give it a try. I thought that maybe it would be just OK. That it might be a little easier to use and nothing more. What a surprise! I've been using it for a couple of weeks and I'm totally in love with it! Everything works so smoothly, it is fast, I've learned to use it pretty fast too, and it looks just beautiful without all the wires coming from behind. The monitor looks just amazing. My husband wanted a bigger monitor but I think this is perfect, more than enough. Every day I use it, I find new tricks and amazing stuff to do with it. It recognizes everything I install from the beginning and I'm just amazed at the speed of shutting down. I can have a lot of windows open at the same time and it keeps running great! I recently bought a Sony Vaio and I love it too, but I have to admit that since I bought this one, the laptop is getting a little bit of dust. I believe what they say is true: once you try a mac, you never go back!"

What's great about it: Everything.
What's not so great: Price.

"This computer is the best computer I've ever had. I got it for my birthday and have had no problems with it so far. Everything about it is great. It's very thin, very reliable, has everything you need, and ships with Mac OS X Leopard. Leopard is the best operating system on the planet. There is no need to buy virus protection because Macs are nearly resistant to viruses. It is incredibly stable and hasn't ever crashed. This computer replaced my Windows Vista PC that I got a few months ago. Leopard is so much better than Vista. This would be an excellent choice for anyone wanting a new computer or their first Mac. One thing I didn't like very much is the price, but it's worth it. Excellent computer."

"My wife bought me this iMac because she felt sooo bad for me, hearing me constantly complaining with the PC I had, which gave me nothing but problems a month after buying it, & the tech support was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! Esp. the operating system. I've had my iMac (8) months now, & LOVE EVERYTHING about it!!! I just can't say enough good things about it. The saying, "Once you go Mac, you'll never go back" rings true for me! The cost for Apple products may run a little more, but I believe their worth every cent."

What's great about it: no viruses for mac, instant loading time, no lagggg, great for students
What's not so great: hard to play games without xp on boot camp

"This baby is amazing. I haven't had a sing problem with it yet. The loading time when you turn it on is amazing. Compared to PC's this thing is 10 times faster. And one of the best parts is, people don't make viruses for macs, so you don't have to worry about them. There is one and only one downfall. That is that people still make most online games for xp or vista. There is one cure though... get boot camp or parallels. The IMacs can handle parallel and boot camp for sure."

What's not so great: you cant upgrade the graphics card ( is not a problem )

What's great about it: everything, isight, OSx, iphoto, imovie, software available
What's not so great: price is a bit much but worth it

"This is my first Mac, although i have used Macs many times in the past. I got it in June and i immediately fell in love with this computer. The big screen is beautiful and it looks amazing in my bedroom. Its fast too. Safari is fast on all teh websites i use regularly. Iphoto is great for orginaizing and editing pictures. I love making Imovies with my friends using the iSight camera built. The iSight camera works great, it takes great pictures and i love the affects. The built in speakers are suprisingly great. I dont need to plug in any speakers to blast my music. I love how you can take of a simple door on the bottom and add more memory. I love the orginizational applications included, like Mail, iCal, and address book. They really do help me stay organized and they are easy to use. Its a beautiful computer that is easy to use, and i didnt have much of an issue switching between PC to Mac, it was about as hard as just getting a new PC.
I LOVE IT!"

"I recently switched from PC to MAC and I'm loving MAC! The IMAC is the best choice. Aside from the sleek design, if youre looking for power, desktops are always better.

"I bought this computer for my wife and she is not computer savvy. however, she can do anything she wants with how intuitive and easy our imac is to use. It's fast, the display looks incredible and we even use it as a tv. the speakers that are built into it are pretty loud and it's really a tv, dvd player, stereo and computer in one. I will never buy a pc again after using this imac. OS X is incredibly stable and even the minor issues i've encountered are simple enough to fix yourself without having to send it into a tech."

"Having spent the last 13 years on PC, the change over to Mac was unbelievable. I wish I had done this sooner. If you're afraid of not being able to use 'Office' there is software for Mac. Numbers, Keynote and Pages are just as easy to use. You won't regret this purchase. I will definitely look at more Apple products."
