What's great about it: Excellent picture, $699 sale, 3 HDMI, easy setup
What's not so great: Battery Clip comes off easily on remote, PS3 HDMI and LG have some issues

"After researching online and in store, with fully knowing most of my time on this 32" LG was going to be connected to PS3 for gaming, Blu-ray, and streaming through network, this TV was on the top of the list. Best Buy had few days of this TV for $699. Features (3 HDMI, PC, etc) and excellent picture was great bargain.

Get home, easy setup, stand is sufficient. After connecting HDMI to PS3, noticed an issue of audio clipping and screen freezing while streaming movies. Tried the other 2 HDMI inputs (and other HDMI cables), the screen started to flicker and horrible picture. Went back to original HDMI slot and work alright til started streaming movies again (freezing screen, clipping). So after testing my PS3 on SONY HDTV (SXRD) that we have in the living room, the PS3 looked great on that Sony. (Tried connecting 3 different HDMI cables, again all look great on the Sony.)

After speaking with LG, they referred me to get the TV fixed under warranty. I did some more research online and started reading about other HDTV owners having similar issues. In the end, the PS3 running HDMI 1080p does not 'communicate' correctly to the TV, therefore causing clipping, snow, and audio dropout. I set my PS3 to 720p & 1080i and it looks excellent and runs very nice. While it bothers me I cannot at this time take advantage of the 1080p, for such a small screen, I have not noticed a difference in my gaming or HD movies. I'm keeping the TV and am still a big fan of this TV and LG.

The one other issue I would state is that the speakers for LG they are inside the bottom bezzle. So when a heavy bass note comes, there can be a rattle/buzzing from the TV. I didn't get this TV for it's audio, thats being taken care of by surround sound, but it's something that you may want to consider."

What's great about it: Picture, Price, and Functions

"I've done alot of research on Tvs this year and have concluded that this Tv is the best. Samsung and Sony are great but at the end of the day if you took the name off of the Tv you would choose this LG. Picture and sound is great from a HD source. Even the antena channels are great. A very smart Tv too with the intell sense function on. Cant loose if your a gamer either. Alll in a nut shell, GREAT TV!"

"Bought this on christmas eve on sale for $699. Great thing about it is that if you connect all your devices to it it via hdmi, it'll send out a 5.1 signal through the Optical or coaxial.If you have something that utililzes 1080p, make sure that you get the newest version hdmi cable or you'll have problems. It should be version 1.3b.My PS3 wouldn't show the screen and my Xbox 360 would lock up once I changed it to 1080p.Then I changed out the HDMI cable.It took me awhile to figure out that it was the culprit.I use it as a monitor also, its not too bad.People dont buy tv's based on the sound quality but its not bad either."

"Purchased this lg 1080 in hopes of getting superior picture quality. Very sadly mistaken. Got it for $699 plus tax. Item was not in stock. Instructions were so hard to understand for a normal everyday person like you and me to get it up and running. The stand was so flimsy for such a heavy tv. I thought that if a small earthquake came it would fall right off! Once we finally assembled the stand, and turned on the tv we had to wait forever for it to program the hd channels from our antenna. It seemed like a clear and easy set up process but it took too long in my opinion. The tv quality was horrible once everything was ready to go. So sadly disappointed for a $740 hdtv. Not one of the channels looked good to me. Returned it back to the store shortly thereafter. Purchased a 720 Samsung at bestbuy.con and OMG WOW what a difference. Paid 500 for it and worth every penny. Forget LG. Samsung is truly the best!"

What's great about it: The picture is wonderful even without the HD service it's very clear. The price was very good.
What's not so great: The box was torn when I received it. Delivery was terrible. UPS had delivered my TV to the wrong address.

"I had a more pleasurable time shopping online then in store. I would do it again with the exception of picking-up my merchandise in-store rather then getting it delivered to my house. Since UPS is very unpredictible. Thank god I have honest neighbors or I would of never of gotten to watch my TV.
I have had no major problems with my TV so far. I 'am having a hard time hooking up my home theatre system to it. But, I will eventually get there. The picture is very clear, and I think I chose a good pick. Since I have been researching HDTV's since this summer. I purchased this TV without seeing it first. The price was good considering I purchased it on Thanksgiving. I'am having my HD service put in tommorrow so I will get the full HD effect. That will be exciting. I can't wait to see the difference in the picture. I had purchased this TV for a present to myself for finshing my first college degree. I hope it last me many years to come."

What's great about it: 3 hdmi,2 component,1 svideo and 1 vga port... loads of inputS !
What's not so great: sound is ok but digital output goes to my reciever for higher end movies, games.

"I was waiting for the price drop for this on black friday for $699. No one was even looking at it at the store. I knew I had to get it when it was sold out online. I hooked up my older dell PC to it and set the resolution to 1920x1080p to make it my ultimate monitor. I almost bought a 32" samsung 720p for $649 a few months back from fry's. Im glad I waited for this deal. The price is back to $999 which makes me stoked i grabbed it. I have my dell PC(vga), Xbox360 (hdmi) and DVD (component) plugged in. Regular DVD connection still looks amazing with just the component inputs. This is a must buy!"

What's great about it: this is the nicest tv for the 32 inch class and its not the most expensive

"ive been lookin for tvs for several months. i wanted a 32 cuse its for my room and it fits perfect. i compared diff stores diff tvs and looked at many reviews. i went at 5 am on black friday and decided to go with this one. it had the best contrast ratio 15000 to 1 it had the best response time with 4ms it had the 1080p and a nice design. the smsung and sony 32 in dosent have as good response time and mega pixles and is way more money. i paid 699 on sale and am very satisfied. playstation looks incredible and blue ray movies are intense with surround sound. if ur looking for a 32 inch tv there is no other way to go this is an incredible tv"

"I bought this LG Model 32LG70 TV because of the 1080P HDMI arhitecture as I wanted to use the several different connects for things like just watching TV to using DVD and USB connection at various times, and using my computer because my computer has a 1080P HDMI Motherboard with a connecter. Currently I have a Time-Warner cable box connected and everything seems to be working very well so far. I've watched 4 NASCAR Sprint Cup races abd a dozen college football games the picture quality was excellent for all the events.

My mother boughta a LG 32LG30 and she loves it. no complaints."

"I have been looking at the LG brand for some time, and was hesitant, but the picture quality in the store seemed just as good as Sony and Samsung. I caught this 1080p model on sale for $300 off and it was in the same price range as the Sony and Samsung 720p. I 've read you can't tell the difference in 1080p vs. 720p in a 32" model - don't believe it, especially in HD. I can't wait to get a Blue Ray to hook up to this LG."

"Overall a very nice TV…I haven’t had the TV for long, but I have had no problems. I purchase the TV for $699 when it was on sale...the regular price is $999, definitely worth the money. If you can wait to purchase this TV, wait until it goes on sale again. The picture quality is just as good as Samsung and Sony with the same specs. The only thing I could ask for is 120 Hz. But no one has a 32 in out with 120. Also the sound could be better...but if you have surround speakers already, you won't care or notice.

I also like the little feature it has with the buttons on the TV...volume, channel etc... They are not really buttons; they react with just a touch, like a touch screen phone.
