What's great about it: Picture quality - black is black! Awesome looking even powered off! What's not so great: Price is a little steep
"I've been a big Sony TV fan for the past 25-years. At one point I have four Sony's in the house. When I saw the picture on the Kuro I was astonished. Since the family room is fairly large I selected the 60" model. I am pretty critical about picture quality - I can not find fault with this TV. It's tack-sharp picture, excellent color reproduction and incredibly black 'Black' cause me to marvel at how great this set is even after a year of watching it! I can't rate the sound quality since I'm just using the set as a monitor."

"After shopping and researching tvs for four months i finely decided to get a plasma and then decided to get a pioneer i had to go big and get the 60" whats the point buying a plasma and getting a small on but anyway i love everything the picture quality is incredible its like your there in person the colors are unreal just amazing awesome i couldnt of went with another tv... i have my Ps3, Xbox 360, also my new labtop , and HD cable all through HDMI cables theres enough inputs for everything... next i want to get is a surround sound system... and ill be set..."

"I started out thinking to replace my 5 year-old 720p Plasma with one of the new LCD models. But in all the HD reviews I read, the standard of comparison for picture quality was the Pioneer Kuro. Then I went to the store and looked at them side-by-side. There is no comparison, the Kuro is clearly superior. I almost bought the 50 inch model, but am glad I decided on the 60. It is awesome for 1080p Blu-ray!!!!
It was easy to set up, and is very user friendly. My only minor gripe is the HDMI Control feature when used with non-Pioneer equipment: it works, but it's not convenient or straight-forward."

"When you are pondering buying this flat panel, disregard all the websites that tell you the size for your room. I sit 8 feet away from my tv and the experts say I should have a tv that is 40 or so inches. I'm glad I bought their largest screen because it's incredible. I see absolutely no artifacts. In HD of course. This panel basically runs itself. Room light sensors and Optimum video adjust the picture automatically and Optimum audio adjust the sound automatically. Can't go wrong with this panel."

"I knew after viewing this plasma tv in our local Best Buy store that it was the one that I wanted. It took about 4 days for the TV to come in (had to order it). It has the best picture quality that I have ever seen. Very nice TV."

"Took a week to decide on this purchase because of the higher cost, but after setting up(easy) I was well justified (Even after the credit card statement) of the buy. Blacks are outstanding, and picture is extremely detailed with vivid colors from HD-Dvd(extinct)/PS3 BR.
HD source 5 stars xbox 360 5 stars HD channels 5 stars (cable feed is the inhibitor) Standard def 3 stars (digital cable) Neg: Antiglare screen (reflections are present during daytime/room lights on, making location/angle important) No sleep button on remote (have to search menu function)
Neutral Sound - use AV system Price: you get what you pay for.
Everyone notes the excellent picture. Moved up from high end 46 lcd because of blur on sports and while watching dark scenes in movies I could not discern the picture (AlienVsPred 2). This has been cured with the black levels and backlighting on the 6020 plasma."
