What's great about it: No much
What's not so great: interior shelves and drawers crack - poor quality & design
Had this for less than 2 years and the shelves and drawers are all cracking. They are made of cheap plastic and designed very poorly. Looked at the price to replace them and it would run hundreds. Contacted Whirlpool support but they were no help at all. I just replaced a GE and Kenmore refridgerator I had for 20 years and never had a shelf or drawer break or crack. There is absolutly no excuse for the cheap sub-par materials they used here. And absolutly no excuse for Whirpool to not stand behind their products.
This product has... cheap parts, terrible customer support

What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: nothing
Love the in the door ice and water. Keeps veggies fresh and meat cold in the meat draw. Replaced a GE that we only had for 7 years that was nothing but trouble from day one. So glad we went to Whirlpool.
This product has... Design I love, A convenient ice maker location, An easy to change water filter, A quiet design, No hard to reach spots, A freezer designed to fit full-size pizza boxes, Lots of door storage, Multiple temperature zones

What's great about it: My first side by side, this refrigerator hold so much stuff. It's quiet.
What's not so great: Have not found anything yet
This is our first side by side wasn't sure how well we would like it but it is great. It is quiet running. The see through glass shelves let you see everything that is in the refrigerator. The freezer holds an amazing amount of stuff since the ice storage container for ice is in the door to give you more room. That was one of the reasons we got this refrigerator over most other ones.
I would recommend this to a friend!
