What's great about it: (^_^)b It's soOOooOo easy to use!
What's not so great: Nothing, still works great after 2 months

"This is my first external hardrive, and I am absolutely in love with it. I recommened everyone to have this, so easy to use, and my favorite thing about it is the fact that the LCD lights up, when it's on, and blinks when it is loading your documents so your not there wondering if it's working or not. Also it's so sleek, small, perfect for a laptop.

I haven't found a reason to use the second usb cordy thing, but meh, it's still a good buy~"

What's great about it: Easy setup
What's not so great: Did not, in fact, work

"As with all external drives, it installed easily. After copying one large file (a few GB) it froze up during the second copy. Reboots and subsequent attempts to read anything were unsuccessful. Returned to store. The Geek Squad confirmed it was dead."

"I use both mac at school and pc this is perfect for storing huge video files and other large files such as psd, flash, ect. works great and have not had anything gone wrong. remember to format for use on both pc and mac."

What's great about it: portable, no power cable, price
What's not so great: none as of now

"I have bought several external drives over the years for storage of information and this is my third from SimpleTech, and the other two are still working fine, but i wanted something small and portable and this fit the bill. This drive is compact and very easy to use. Although it comes loaded with standard back-up software it can be easily deleted to free up a little more room. I'm defiantly happy with this product."

What's great about it: So easy to use!
What's not so great: Extra wire is annoying

"I Love this thing!! I didn't know waht to do with all my photos - they are on disks, on my computer, in e-mails, etc. etc. But now they are all in one easy place. And it's so easy to use. I carry it with me when I need quick prints made, and it fits right in my pocket. And it holds LOTS of photos. Great value.
The only thing I didn't like was the "extra" port to plug in when you need an extra power source. Most people don't need this, so it is annoying to remember not to use this one. But I put a piece of tape around it and problem solved.
I am so happy with this device."

"No instructions necessary with this, it's so easy to use right out of the box - simply click and drag. I also love that it's so portable and bought a hard zip case to carry and protect it. In case of fire I'd grab my cat and then my SimpleTech."
