What's great about it: I like the screen is wide and it works great
What's not so great: No usb but I have a few that work for it no biggie

What's great about it: lowest cost Garmin GPS that announces streets by name (key feature!)
What's not so great: difficult to update (need to buy cable and figure out how)
"We've used this on vacations to find places to eat and visit near where we stay. Example: It was great in Grand Rapids MI where I used it to avoid a traffic jam (construction) and quickly get to a restaurant we liked.
It is simple to use and touch screen based.
I thought the instructions and manual could be better and I was disappointed that it did not come with a cable to update it in the future. There is supposed to be a way to do this and I would be willing to pay a reasonable fee every 2 years or so. I visited the Garmin website but could not find info on how to do this. BUT it works well now and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a GPS."

What's great about it: Easy set up and easy to view screen
What's not so great: didn't come with USB cable
"This was a gift seeing as I have a built in Nav system in my car. This is better as you can take it with you where ever you go. The only issue I have is that the USB Cable is purchased separately..."

What's great about it: Widescreen, cost
What's not so great: Voice directions
"This is a good value GPS. It is easy to use and very easy to see. I previously had a Streetpilot 2610 which for it's time was a good unit. The difference in size and weight is remarkable and the 3D view is much easier to use, but the voice prompting seems a little erratic."

What's great about it: excellent screen view, clear vocal direction, great accuracy
What's not so great: A little delay while searching for satelites
"This device has been such a great addition in helping me get to addresses I have never been to before simply by entering the name of the business or the street address. I have saved a lot of time and miles by being able to go directly to my destination with no wrong turns."

What's great about it: essential for driving to unfamiliar areas
What's not so great: once in a while it messes up
"I just moved to a town and a new state and this is essential for me to get around. However on the high way once in a while it will say to make a left or right way too late for me to even switch lanes to do it. Normally it says it a good minute or two before hand but once in a while I will be almost past the exit when it finally says "make right" way too late. I've seen the magellan in action and like the turn by turn commands better. However this isn't completely bad, still very useful and is very good for the price. The points of destination feature is great."

What's great about it: Easy to read screen, quick to recalculate
What's not so great: Somewhat annoying voice, but better than most
"The screen easy to read, day or night, and the touch is sensitive and responsive. It is very accurate and has gotten be to a couple of remote places using quick and interesting routes that I wouldn't have plotted on a hard copy map. With the long battery life, I've found it's portable enough to use on a boat or biking. All in all, an excellent GPS and in my opinion top in its class."

"This will always get you out of trouble, however i would highly recommend pre planning your route as this one does not always give the shortest or quickest route avaiable.
Other than that this is a very good product. I used to have a TomTom Go910 until it got stolen, i prefer the TomTom, but this one is good for the price."

"We have this GPS and it is very easy to work. We do not leave home without it . If you are traveling you need one awsome shows you a list of what you are looking for like food , hotels etc. Theturn-by turn is cool. We love it can not get lost the GPS will show you the way."

What's great about it: Easy as pie to learn
What's not so great: haven't found any
"This GPS unit recovers you from wrong turns within seconds, and guides you back to where you need to go.
I'm usually not so good with following written directions like you get from online map services 'cause I have to take my eyes off the road, and that may cause problems in heavy traffic. So this little gizmo alerts me when to turn ahead of time so I can get in the right lane without a problem, and keep my eyes on the road, where they belong.
The volume can be adjusted, or muted if you prefer. The unit has several language options as well; English, Spanish and French are just a few of the choices. One can also switch between metric and US measurements.
You can even customize the little Icon that represents your vehicle with downloads from the Garmin website. they have everything from cars to trucks and planes to pirate ships and even arrows.
Over all this GPS unit is a fun and easy device to use on a daily basis. You will not get lost ever again, as long as you have the unit with you."

"The screen is very easy to understand and use. The best part is that it will tell you the street to turn left or right on. It does not just say turn left it informs you turn left on 25th street. Battery life is really good. Hooks up to your computer very easily to update maps."

"I purchased this GPS for a trip I was taking to Germany. Along with the GPS, I purchased the SD card with the map of Europe. Both in Michigan and in Germany, the GPS has been very accurate. Wide screen is worth the extra price. This was also a great deal compared to other similar/newer models."
