What's great about it: Easy set up, Little to no glare in bright room
What's not so great: Could use a bit more bass in sound but not bad overall
"We set on purchasing the Samsung LN46A630 after all the great comments we read as well as it had all the features we were looking for. I was not disappointed. Fantastic lifelike picture and setup was a breeze. I highly recommend this TV!"

What's great about it: The Matte screen great in heavy window room.
What's not so great: Nothing ( Speakers could be a bit better) But Picture is Amazing.
"Researched everything and everywhere. The Samsung ln46a630 is the best. If you have Big windows in your room with a lot of light this is the LCD HDTV you want. Just amazing. Hooked up to HDTV DVR and just Xbox 360 and it looks amazing. Have been told PS3 with the Blu-Ray is a must for this tv for movies. The picture is great during the day with all the light from the windows. The Matte sreen is wonderful. No glare and crystal clear Picture. In the evening Amazing tv experience. Samsung has done there homework. Wonderful television. Very Happy with Samsung and with Best Buy."

What's great about it: Very goo picture out the box on Movie mode. Good price. Black levels.
What's not so great: 3 HDMI ports might be limiting in the future. Shiny bezel.
"This is a great TV. The A650 (glossy screen version) is rated one of the best LCDs you can buy. This is the same TV with a less reflective screen. Like most LCDs, you need to make some picture adjustments to get the best picture. Even out of the box on Movie mode, you will get a very nice picture. Black levels are very good, but not quite as good as the A650. Color is pretty accurate out of the box. Don't confuse 120Hz and Motion Flow. 120Hz cannot be turned off and has no negative affect on the picture. Motion Flow can be turned on to give movies, shows and sports a smoother appearance. Most people don't like the effect it gives. This TV definitely operates at 120Hz, but only makes a minimal improvement. Buy this TV now!"

What's great about it: not much
What's not so great: alot
"poor picture , awfull sound. pictue is good watching rented movies but what t.v isn't? good for gaming thats about it. so i wont waste my time creating a video on it. im going to return it to the store! I will just get a smaller screen better quality tv."

What's great about it: Quick setup, couldn't pass up sale price and free delivery
What's not so great: Spending too much time watching movies now!
"I'm not sure I was prepared for the difference between my old TV (a smaller HDTV) and this one. The image is sharp, bright, and clear, and that's just with a plain old DVD signal! Can't wait to get a BlueRay player!
Set up in the menus via the remote was simple, and the short explanations on the screen of each setting was helpful. Unboxing to movie watching was only about 20 minutes."

What's great about it: Only good from a price point for the size, weight,decent sound
What's not so great: Juddery grainy picture, VESA 600 is expensive mounts.120hz marketing gimmick, only operates at 60hz
"My 720p HP plasma has better picture than this. Watched 3 movies DVD frm my PS3 using HDMI cable and they all looked grainy and juddery (even after playing with all settings). Oh and 120Hz is only a marketing gimmick, it only operates at 60 hz max.THis is going back to BB for a plasma. LCDs only advantage is its weight, it cannot compare to plasma for picture and theatrical feel. Good for daily viewing but not for movie buffs. low energy mode is nice too.
PS3 games were fine. VESA 600 mounts are expensive."

"Great TV, for the price it can't be beat. The picture is absolutley amazing and crystal clear. I have yet to find anything that I don't like about it. The 120Hz Automotion provides a almost surreal image and really take you into another world of HD. I highly recommend this tv to anyone out there."

What's great about it: Beautiful picture, easy setup
"I have been researching tv's for the last 6 months and this was by far the best tv I encountered for the price. Setting this tv up was extremely easy. From the time I took it out of the box till I was watching tv was probably 10 minutes. The picture looks great and I don't even have HD set up for it yet! I am very happy with my purchase and would encourage anyone looking for a tv to invest in this one."

What's great about it: Picture quality, Picture adjustment options, Sale price
What's not so great: There aren't many
"This 46" LCD has been a great TV. Menu is very user friendly. Gives user plenty of picture adjustent options (The usual brightness, contrast, etc., and Gamma, flesh tone, black levels, and many more). Great if you like to manually fine tune the picture to your liking. Picture presets are pretty good as they are. 120 Hz refresh rate really shows and gives you the option of having it on High, Medium, Low, or not on at all. The reason I say 120Hz really shows is becasue when watching any regular sitcom/movie with the 120Hz refresh rate on high it almost seems as if it were a soap opera or watching it live. It picks up on movement very rapidly. I recomend watching regular dvd's and sitcoms with the 120Hz on low. Along with 120Hz refresh rate, it has 4ms response time. Both make it a great TV for gaming and Blu-ray. Standar definition is not great but it usually isn't with the HDTV's (because they are made for HD!), but it's not bad either. The red touch of color cabinent does not stand out very much but does give it an elegant look from up close. I hook up to home theater but tv speakers are decent. Would recommend to anyone."

"I just bought this TV a few weeks ago and it is awesome. It has a great picture and even the sound is good. I shopped for about a month and did a lot of comparison shopping and for the price, size, and features this just seemed like the overall best. I have not been dissapointed and I am very happy with my decision and even if you don't get this TV exactly I definately recommend Samsung TV's in general."

Outstanding TV

What's great about it: This TV was simple to set up and start enjoying immediately.
What's not so great: Speakers are not as full sounding as other units but when running it through the home theater it sounds AWESOME!
"We wanted to upgrade our main TV because of upcoming HD and the fact we lost the bedroom set thanks to Hurricane Ike! I did extensive research and was determined to get a TV with great specs without all the fluff and unecessary add ons. As mentioned by others Samsung really thought of everything when they made this TV including the box. It was a snap unpacking and setting up. There are ample inputs for home theater, games, dvr, etc. This is our first HDTV and we had it for almost a week before we upgraded our cable to HD. At first it was just a larger TV with a very good picture then when we upgraded to HD it was like a whole new experience. The picture is crisp and clear beyond anything we expected. The National Geographic channel has to be our favorite. My wife actually said...."It's almost too clear of a picture!" Controls and settings are plentiful and easy to get to. The speakers are "ok" but we play almost everything through our home theater so it's not an issue. This is an outstanding TV and BB did a price match so the purchase was even better."

What's great about it: picture is amazing, sound is close to 5.1

"I bought this tv about three weeks ago, and love it. I was thinking it might be a little big for my small bedroom but decided to anyway since it was on sale. and i am not dissapointed! it looks great! i got a blue ray player, and its so lifelike it rediculous, and my xbox gameplay just got even better! those kids on COD4 dont stand a chance! The only issues i have are that the 120Hz dont really take effect like id want them to, and when i watch regular tv, the screen is so massive that the pixels are spread out more and the picture doesnt look as good as my old 27" flat tube. So im working on getting the HD reciever to fix that. But overall this is a great LCD, i would reccomend it to anyone!"

What's great about it: little reflection from ambient lights, incredible pic!
What's not so great: 3 HDMIs vs 4 on the 650
"This TV is amazing. So many good things to say, not enough time. This TV is a great value. 1080P picture is amazing. The 630 line of TVs have a matte screen that does not reflect a lot of light so not much interferes with the picture. If you are looking for a TV for a room that gets a lot of light...this is the TV for you."
