What's great about it: Beautiful Display. No dead pixels. Very fast. What's not so great: None.
"Well, I finally ran out of space on my desktop and decided it was time to reclaim some of it by getting rid of my big old 22" CRT display. I have always been a fan of CRT's, but was ready for an upgrade and I wanted something in the 16x9 aspect ratio. I have owned this monitor for about three months now, and wonder why I waited so long before purchasing a high grade monitor! It's the one peice of your system that you use more than anything else!"

"First off i am always a fan if LG is the product, But a fair unbiased review still gets super grades with this monitor, sharp picture and a terrific price. I needed to upgrade bigger and this unit didnt break the bank and performs awesome!"

What's great about it: Beautiful picture quality - good price What's not so great: Monitor could be more adjustable
"I bought this monitor at the beginning of August on sale for $219. I was considering an HP but once I saw an LG on sale I was sold. The picture quality is beautiful - no shiny screen so no glare and the design is attractive as well. My only complaint is one stuck pixel but that will happen eventually. Considering I didn't pay retail I'm thrilled and even if I had I'd still be a happy camper."

What's great about it: Highly Affordable What's not so great: High default gamma setting
"Great monitor, purchased it on sale for $220, had to turn gamma setting down to the lowest setting (-50) to enable a full black/white contrast, otherwise a very clean, bright picture."

What's great about it: monitor actually mimics my iMac's calibration, looks like an Apple Display... What's not so great: plastic base looks a bit cheap/flimsy
"Great Monitor, I actually bought a different one and had to return after 36 days, Best Buy gave me the store credit and I toke this one home because I am comfortable with the brand. My iMac 17" Core2Duo able to discover the monitor by model automatically, and when I change the calibration preset to iMac, I got a very near perfect match to the iMac's LCD. Great product."

"Bright and clear monitor at a great price. LG really does make great products. The monitor is crisp and bright with plenty of viewable area.
I too thought my box was missing the DVI cable but if you look again you'll see that the DVI cable is not provided in all models. The only guaranteed contents are the monitor, stand, and VGA cable. All this from the inside flap of the box the monitor came in.
If you're thinking about upgrading to a widescreen monitor don't miss this sale."

"I got his monitor on monday... $219.00 are you kidding me?! For a 22 inch that is pretty insane. I have looked high and low for a brand name monitor 22inch with a low price.. I even looked at used 22inches on Craigslist and used 22's couldnt even beat this price brand new!"

"I have had this monitor for one day, and I must say that it is an excellent product, especially for the sale price of $219, which you just cannot beat for a 22 inch monitor. Some say that it is 21.6 or 21.5 inches, but I for one cannot tell the difference. I have been researching monitors for a long time now and must say that this has met all expectations, except for the lack of a DVI cable. Highly reccomended"

Right Place, Right Time, Right Price

What's great about it: Size, Price, Excellent color, easy setup, What's not so great: The Frame is just so-so
"I've been using a Sony 19 in Triniton since 2000. 50lbs, and it put out heat and was bad on my eyes. I had to almost sit on it to read. So, I've been looking for over a year. I stopped in to Best Buy and Best Buy girl pointed this model out. I asked why such a low price. 1. It was on sale. 2. 21.6 viewing instead of 22
I had it up running in no time. I can sit back in my chair and see the screen with no problem and I have the setting on the max. The colors are great and no fading anywhere on the screen.
Cons: It wasn't the hottest looking model on the floor. But I go for what a product can do more then for what it looks like."

"This is a great monitor,but viewable screen is only 21.5 viewable. was using a samsung 940 b 19 inch monitor. the LG does have better color to it,then my samsung. also as far as i know LG still makes their own lcd panels,which is a plus now a days. I have the picture settings at 90 percent brightness and 80 percent contrast,with the gamma set at minus -50 percent. really brings out the black color for my eyes and little more definition also,not real bright bright either. almost got the ever popular acer 22 inch,but saw this deal and bought one right away. LG is quality stuff."

What's great about it: Easy of use What's not so great: on/off switch
"It only took a min to connect and have monitor working and picture quality is outstanding. This monitor was like using a HGTV compared to my old KDS monitor. The only negative comment i have is placement of on/off switch so close to edge of Monitor occasionally causes me to turn off monitor when adjusting the screen after grandchildren use computer. If you are looking for a great monitor to watch Vids in addition to surfing, you could not make a better choice, The large 22" has a better picture than my TV when viewing DVD's . (but try to catch it on sale)"

"I'd give this 5 stars if I wasn't forced to use the analog VGA cable to write this review. Hopefully LG customer support will honor their warranty so I can avoid packaging everything back up for an in-store exchange."
