I have had an opporunity to shop around over the yeaers for quality headphones. I have struggled with finding one pair that would produce the sound that i was looking for. For this reason I have many pair and select their usage based on how i am feeling at the time. Hands down these are the best!!!
What's great about it: Near perfect sound reproduction
What's not so great: They require batteries

I'm a sound engineer & have tried dozens & dozens of headphones. I'm always interested in trying new gear to see if I can find anything to surplant my classic Sony Studio Pro MDR-V6, Sennheisers or Audio Technica headphones.
While these are decent sounding headphones, compared to other headphones in the same price range, made by truly reputable headphone makers, these fall short sound quality-wise.
On a scale of 1-10 these would rate about a 6.5 or 7. Most people are used to your run-of-the-mill department store headphone (skullcandy, sony, etc) & compared to those, these sound much better, however if you compared these to truly good headphones then you'd hear what you're missing. These have a strong bass response but are lacking elsewhere. The bass is overwhelming & you miss a good part of the rest of the spectrum. (mids & highs) Apparently young listeners think a strong bass equates to great sound quality. They don't know what they are missing.
If bass & style is all you care about, & you're ok with over spending for a brand, go ahead & get them. If you want the best sound for the price & don't care about what your peers think, you can get better & more natural sounding headphones for less, probably half as much. What's great about it: style and strong bass (albeit overly strong)

I love these head phones. would buy them again in a heart beat. The price is high, the sound is awesome, makes listening to music 100% better. Love them.
What's great about it: The way you here the music.
What's not so great: The battery cover is hard to get off. Other people can here what you are listening to.

The Beats Are the best headphones I ever had in my life they are a big step up from the Bose headphones they make you feel like you are in the studio with the person who recorded the song

Truly amazing sound rich deep bass clean highs and comfortable if you enjoy listening to music these are for you the sound that comes out of these headphones are mindblowing well worth the price

Comfortable, incredible sound. I use them to listen to my favorite music, which right now is Anouska Shankar's Breathing Under Water, and a lot of the Solfeggio compositions available on those sound healing frequencies (e.g. 528 HZ).
What's great about it: Deep sound fidelity.

A friend got a pair of these, and told me they were really good. Unfortunately he lives a couple states away so I had to take his word on it, and splurged. I've always been a fan of Grado headphones, so can only compare to my last ones which the cord broke after years of use.
I was unimpressed! these costed twice as much as the Grados did, but had only half the sound.
Sure they have great bass, but the rest of the sounds have no depth. I like to hear the crack of the snare drum, the high tones of cymbals, but it just wasn't able to deliver.
For the price, I feel this is not a good set. Drop the price by 60% and they would possible fit in right there.
Dont believe the hype. I'm going to unload these, and possibly go with the bose they had on display in the store. those sounded tons better than this.
What's great about it: Only Bass
What's not so great: Flat Sound, No Depth, Cheap Feeling.

The Studio headphones by Dr. Dre are just the best. Super comfortable, fits well on the head, doesn't feel heavy at all. Produces the best sound, the bass is insane. To get the full range of sound & to experience how awesome the bass is, its best to listen to hip/hop or electronic music. You won't regret buying these. Just make sure you actually listen to music a lot before you get these. 10/10

I initially bought RocketFish noise canceling headphones that were on sale for ~$120 and was pretty disappointed so I decided to go all out and drop the $300 on these Beats... I have 0 regrets about that decision. These headphones are awesome: the sound is crystal clear, the bass is phenomenal, and they're incredibly comfortable. The carrying case and the way the headphones fold up are both really convenient. One thing to remember is to make sure you turn the headphones off when you're done listening to them since they run on 2 AAA batteries, but I've had mine for a month and have yet to change the batteries (I wear them anywhere from 1-4 hours a day everyday). When I saw there was a battery compartment I figured they'd be somewhat heavy, but they're actually incredibly lightweight. It's a hefty price tag but it's an incredible value for the product. How often do you listen to your phone/computer/ipod? Why not treat yourself.
What's great about it: Comfy, shnazzy, awesome sound

Overall the sound is pretty good. Plenty of bass. But for the price, it is simply not worth it. Ended up going with the Bose OE2 which are much cheaper and as good if not better sound quality. When you open the instruction booklet, you quickly realize why they are so expensive. The stars they have marketing their product don't come cheap I suppose.
What's great about it: Sounds is pretty good and it's pretty flashy
What's not so great: PRICE!!!!

Noise isolation technology blocks out a significant portion of the background noise in the listening environment. These headphones do a great job reproducing in great detail the music we do not typically hear (in my experience thus far). The sound is clean and clear and not overwhelming at either end of the spectrum. They are not bass monsters, but they are an accurate representation of the source you are listeneing to. Equalization can enhance the lows if desired. They are comfortable and come in a protective case with two detachable signal cables, one with a mic, and one without. They fold for ease of travel and to fit in the case. They are battery operated and will not produce sound without a battery installed. I use them every single day and the battery will last a couple weeks (used for hours a day). The background noise isolation is so good, while listening, you may not hear people talking to you (learned from experience). These headphones are a high quailty audio product and I have enjoyed using them since day one.
What's great about it: Excellent Sound, lightweight, comfortable
What's not so great: Price, glossy finish picks up everything, requires battery for any audio production

I love my phones. They sound great for rap, rock and acoustic. They are comfortable.
The big concern that I have with them, since they are noise cancelling and have electronics is that they have already failed on me and needed to be replaced. I use them at work plugged into my computer and they "pop" due to static electricity buildup. I also use them with my ipod, and I get an occaisional pop with it also.
Overall, a great sounding set of headphones.

What's not so great: electronic reliability

I gave the headphones as a gift for my son who plays the drums. He plays the drums to the music in his headphones and he loves them. They stay on his head with great comfort and the noise cancelling helps him out tremendously.
It was a big hit at Christmas.

These are well design and very comfortable. The only problem with the headphones is they leak a little bit when you raise the volume anything past half. Other than that excellent project and I use it 4 or 5 times a week to cancel noise while studying and on the team bus traveling.

Sound is great if you are wearing them, not so great for everyone else in the room. Everybody in the room, on the plane etc. can very clearly hear what you are listening to. Very disappointing...

Beats work Fine, however the batteries are sucked dry very quickly. I tried the Bose headphones and quite frankly the Bose are way better and half the price. Beats are trendy, but Bose are teh better buy.

They sound great and look very cool. They r a fingerprint magnet in black but u cant see them in white, (dont know about red). I do have trouble wen i put them on i hear this wierd sound inside the earcups everytime i move my head(not audiotory). the earcups do feel sort of loose like their going to fall off, but their not. They are comftorable too wear for long periods of time. They do fold nicely. You can extend them to fit ur head size. Now the sound quality. They do sound AMAZING. They sound amazing if u listen to rock hiphop R&B etc,,,. If u listen to jazz salsa or anything like that it will sound like anyother headphone. If u listen to techno they also sound well. It also depends which song you are listening too. The bass is very good ( it is not overpowering) the mids highs and lows are just as good. Everything is crisp and clear. These headphones are a step up from skullcandy and in ear buds. The price is decent. If i were to price these it would probaly from 200-250$. These overall ar AMAZING in my opinion. I AM NOT BEING PAID BY MONSTER OR ANY ENDORSERS THIS IS ENTIRELY MY OPINION AND MY EXPERIENCES WITH THESE HEADPHONES
