What's great about it: Perfect solution for my environment
What's not so great: Price.....cost more than expected but got more than I expected
I was able to install and integrate the Sonos Connect Amp boxes with my existing in-ceiling speakers and with my Internet router in less than an hour. I especially love the ability to select and play music from multiple sources --- e.g., my computer, Internet radio (Pandora) -- and the ability to control music and sound to multiple zones (e.g., living room, patio and Master bedroom), and the ability to use multiple devices (Macbook, iPad and iPhone) for remote control.

What's not so great: None
I have 3 Sonos Connect Amps now and I would have to say they are easy to use and work great. I love the flexibility they give me. I don't have to destroy my house to get the same music in multiple places.

What's great about it: Easy to set up. Flexibility of locating the amp and speakers.
What's not so great: A little pricey. The SONOS bridge is reasonable but the amps cost quite a bit more.
My husband has been bugging me about getting SONOS for almost a year. I fought it at every turn and finally gave in and said we could do one room to try it out. Well, I have to admit, it's a pretty cool deal. It plays music wirelessly from the source to it's attached speakers. I can control it from any room using my PC, iPhone or iPad. Looks like we will probably be buying more of these.

What's great about it: Quality of sound, volume, space requirements, streaming selections.
What's not so great: Pricey.
The ZonePlayer 120 does an excellent job of connecting to the rest of the Sonos network in my home via the bridge and providing streaming audio to the speakers I already owned. Its take up hardly any roon at all on my lamp stand - it is almost hidden yet gives my family exactly what we want in terms of streaming selections, volume, and clear sound.

What's great about it: Excellent Wireless Sound
What's not so great: Needs more power
I have a three zone system (two 120's and one 90). The system did not play well with two routers installed but I isolated the issue and it now performs very well. Sound is very good, but as noted in other reviews, I would prefer a unit that can pump out more wattage. 55wpc is simply not enough. I have made this complaint/suggestion to Sonos and suggest you all do the same. If they offered a 120wpc unit, I would be first in line. Otherwise, the best wireless system out there but a tad expensive. Overall, very happy with it. It can pump out to all zones any component inputs I have run through my AVR too which is very cool - so it is "BI" - goes both ways!

What's great about it: The amount of sources and the indiviual control of each one
What's not so great: Very expensive per unit
I have 10 zones (pre-wired speakers) throughout my house for home audio and this system is perfect, although expensive ($500 per zone, not including the money I had already spent on speakers). I can play music throughout my home using my iPhone, etc. The best is that I can play different music in each zone. Amazing product. Probably the best out there for home audio and I hear thati it will soon be compatible with Control4.

My wife actually uses it and she is not into gadget stuff like this. Was a good excuse to get an iPhone.
It is reliable and easy to use. The iPhone app is one of the best Home A/V apps I have seen. Other A/V apps seem primitive compared to the Sonos app.
Only con is the price of this unit. Can make the total cost of putting Sonos in each room of your house add up. You are looking at between $600 - $800 per room with speakers. If I did not want in-ceiling speakers, I probably would just go with PLAY:5 or PLAY:3

What's great about it: sound quality, expandability
I purchased a house with several built in speakers but had no multiroom system. After I priced out the multiroom systems and calculated the cost and trouble of wiring for a "traditional" system I decided to go with the Sonos.
I absolutely love the sound quality and the ease of use on my ipod. I now have a sonos set up in my kitchen, backyard/garage, living room and children's playroom.
I would recommend this for anyone looking for an expandable multiroom sound system that can stream online content.

I now have four Sonos zone in my house but the ZonePlayer 120 is the most used by far. It gives you the added benefit to hook-up high quality speakers then found in the S5 player and does not require the hassle of turning on a receiver as needed by the ZP90. I'm a big fan of Sonos. However you configure your system, you can't go wrong!

What's not so great: the fact with a year you ad zone to the house its an addiction.
Before buying the sonos i had a in home consult done by Best Buy, they took my problem and gave me my solution. Sonos has filled my house with music they set it up where i could use my existing amps and recievers and added three zones to my house. Sonos is a great product if you know what the easyest way to make things work.

What's great about it: Ease of use, versatility, quality
What's not so great: nothing...
Most recent purchase was add-on to existing Sonos system. I am continually amazed at the ease of installation and the built in features. Anyone considering the system should know that IF you have any problems installing, the Sonos support people are first-rate, understandable and very helpful. My system had an IP address conflict (resulting from my wireless set-up, not Sonos) and these guys diagnosed and fixed everything via the remote diagnostic software.
I have neighbors who bought other, competing systems and they all say they wished they had gone with Sonos.

What's great about it: Easy to set up. Great sound. Easy to show others how to work.
I now have 17 zones in my home. The system works flawlessly. I listen to Pandora, songs off my iMac and iTouch and all work seamlessly. This system is easy to teach others. Just takes a minute and they are playing their favorite music wherever they are in the house.

What's great about it: Wireless portability
What's not so great: Lacks power for most speakers....... Hard to use banana plugs...
The ZP 120 amp only makes 55 wpc which is simply is not enough adequately drive many speaker loads. In fact, I could not find any receiver in BB that had a power rating so low, even a $179.00 receiver I found there was 100 wpc.
I tried driving a pair of Snell bookshelf speakers (Type J) but the ZP 120 just does not have the goods to drive even a moderately efficient pair of loud speakers. At full volume, they were only modestly loud. It's also difficult to use banana plugs as the terminal ends really are not designed to accept them. No excuse for that!
The ZP 120 is really more of a compromise of power and functionality vs. portability. If your not real serious about your sound or don't require even moderately loud volumes (depending on speakers). Than this might be for you. Considering it's $500.00 price tag, it does not give enough bang for the buck...
It could be easily fixed - I hope they will address these issues in future models.......

What's great about it: Very easy to set up and fantastic hub for speakers. Great way to spread music around entire home.
What's not so great: Would have liked it to be a little less expensive, but it really is nice to have.
Super easy to set up. I have this, two ZP90's and the remote. Great way to get music everywhere in the house. I paired the ZP120 with a pair of polk bookshelf speakers that were about $180. Got those at Best Buy also. The sound is crystal clear. The real treat to this system is the access to music on my computer, Pandora, internet radio and Sirius. If you like music, this will make you love it. If you love music like me, it will make you never leave the house. Took me about 20 minutes to set up around the house (4 rooms). Spent a bit of money, but no buyers remorse on this end.

What's great about it: Enormouse flexibility/functionality, minimal installation/setup, good quality
What's not so great: So new, little support/knowledge regarding setup/installation
This system is pricey at first glance, but incomparable to other products when it comes to functionality. If you have an existing home and don't want to completely rewire but want flexibility and a system that can grow with your needs, this is it! The modules allow maximum configuration flexibility to meet your needs, and it can handle internet radio and a variety of music options (ITunes, Pandora, etc.). Since it is such a new product, I had it professionally installed, but we all learned about it together, most technicians hadn't worked with it and those that did had limited knowledge. Once we educated ourselves and worked out the setup bugs, the system works beautifully! Impressive and easy now, love it!
