What's great about it: The game allows me to play a DS version of MCF which I have all the others on my PC.
What's not so great: The game is not as exciting to me and far less challenging.
I was really excited about the description of this game, but was not satisfied with the level of play of the game. I would return it for another game in a heartbeat. However, my 7 year old niece loves it... Amazing Amazon Adventures is a similiar type of game but much better than this MCF MillionHeir.

What's great about it: Some of the puzzles were challenging
What's not so great: Items & rooms are repeated several times through out the game
I really enjoyed this game, it's almost like an I spy game but with added puzzles between levels. The only draw back is that the rooms and items are repeated on several levels so if you have a good memory it can get easy to find the hidden items.

What's great about it: A lot of fun and addicting.
What's not so great: Can't think of any.
This is one of those pick up and play anytime games. A lot of fun. If you enjoy the "find the hidden objects" type games, then you'll really enjoy this.

What's great about it: It's fun and reminds me of highlights magazine from when I was a kid
What's not so great: the story mode is too much reading and once you enter story mode you can't go back unless you turn the power off.
I just bought the game today unsure of spending money on this game when I wasn't sure that i would like it, but it really sucked me in

What's great about it: You can be any type of Rookie or Dective, the dective gets more clues while playing..
What's not so great: Make sure your DS is charged. You'll be in the dark looking for most of the clues.
I got this as a X-Mas gift . My younger sister has 2 daughters and they both have Nintendo DS's and they will only let me play if they get to play first dibs's.

What's great about it: It's just a fun time waster.
What's not so great: No complaints
When your waiting in line or at the doctor's office it's perfect. Passes the time yet does not so engross you that you become unaware of your surroundings. It's simple, fun and, while not challenging in the slightest, it is oddly addicting.

I really enjoy this game, it is fun and it is easy to play for a short time or extended time. There is a timed mode and an untimed mode. The graphics are great and it is easy to catch on. I wish there were more of these for the DS!

What's great about it: Good price and so much fun to play
I am becoming a real fan of Big Fish Games. I play the Titanic game on my computer, but when I read about this one I had to try it. I can not put this thing down. I find that I have to pick up this game every free time I get. It is a little difficult at first to see the items because everything is so small, but it is so worth the fun I am having trying to find the items.

What's great about it: awesome (yet eerie) graphics, great replayability, quick play game
What's not so great: none that I have found yet
After reading the reviews for this game, I had to go pick it up. It is very fun and highly addicting. The game revolves around a story in which you are the hired detective who must uncover clues to solve the mystery. The items have nothing to do with the mystery, but you must find a certain amount to continue in the game.
The graphics are outstanding and the scenes are inventive and interesting to poke around in. If you get bored just looking for items, you also will have to use flashlights, x-ray vision, perform actions, etc. There are also other puzzle varieties in between hunting through boards.
I am a 28 yr old female casual gamer and I love this one! I also love Professor Layton and the Curious Village. They are completely different, but if you like one you will probably like the other.

What's great about it: hours and hours of fun
What's not so great: it can make your eyes hurt
I love this game. I spent hours solving the mystery and I finally did!
You find random items in some of the messiest rooms your will ever see. The music can be creepy, I half expected something to pop up and go BOO! a few times.
The only issue I have is at the end of the game. When you finish, and find Phil, it says that you can unlock other games and mysteries. Then it goes through a long series of credits and you come back to the title screen. If you choose your same moniker, as I did, hoping to advance to the next level, you just go to the end scene again, where you find Phil and have to go through the credits again, only to repeat the process with no advancement. Perhaps I am doing something wrong here, but it frustrated me, that there would only be one game on this.
Overall, I enjoyed the game, but I had hoped to keep playing new adventures and such.
