"At first I thought baseball would be weird for the wii. But once I got mario super sluggers I think the other way. I love this game. The characters are fun to chose from and baseball is just wow in my eyes now. The controls are easy but takes some time to get used to to. This is a must have for all mario fans!"

What's not so great: baserunners suck, controls can be wonky

"All in all, this game is a great title to play with family. It's a definite casual game, so if you're looking for true baseball satisfaction..not the game for you.
I love mario games so this was a must for my collection."

"If you liked the original mario baseball you'll like this, but like most wii games its not great for single player. I was VERY disappointed with the challenge mode. There's only one level and it's not hard at all. I loved single player on GCN but the wii version is just not worth it in that catergory."

What's great about it: 4 player, easier home runs vs. gamecube
What's not so great: No wi-fi abilities

"Overall, Mario Super Sluggers is a great game. The grapics are on par with those of other Wii titles. The controls are responsive and intuitive. There are a wide array of characters to make yor team with. It is important to keep in mind though that this is not real baseball, this is baseball Mario style. When you hit the ball you throw error items at the fielding players to keep them from catching the ball. Even if you hit the ball 20ft. over the fence the fielders can use a buddy double jump and catch it. These are just a few of the changes between this game and real baseball. If you like fun quirks on the American pass time and Mario, or if you enjoyed the original on Gamecube than this is the game for you. My only complaint is that the 4 player ability is local only, that is to say no Wi-Fi. I was looking forward to playing some of my friends in other areas but you can only play friends by inviting them over to your house."

What's great about it: 1-4 player mode, many unlockable characters and stadiums, fun minigames

"Mario Super Sluggers is one of the newest Wii games in the market. As asequal to the GameCube Super Mario Baseball, Sluggers takes place on Peach's Baseball Island. each character has fun in their own stadium until Boswer and Boswer Jr. come and challenge Mario to a Battle of Baseball. Mario must assemble a team using different abilities form the DK squad, Wario's team, Peach's Palace, Yoshi's group, and his own team to beat Bowser. Players must go through a 3D world and interact, help, and prove themself worthy to potential rookies. There are some fun new additions to the team which I wont spoil, and a some new powers for current character. New minigames provide a pleasant break from the baseball, and Toy Field is new and improved. For those of you who haven't played the GameCube Baseball, Toy Field is when a character must hit the ball onto a field filled with squares labeled wit hnumbers and patterns. For example, when the ball lands on a 90, the hitter gets 90 coins. There are no teams, and with 3 ememies in the outfield, there is a chaotic twist to the American pastime. Technically speaking, the game's graphics are some of the most fun wii game graphics I have ever played. While you can blow through the story mode in about 6 hours, if you really try to master the game and minigames, get all of the characters, and achieve "Star Status" for everone, this game stretches to 12+ hours. If you have friends over, break out this instant classic game."

What's great about it: So much to do!

"Got this game for my 13 year old, he absolutely loves it. Tells me how much he likes it everytime he plays it. There is so much more to do than just play baseball. And the cool thing of it is you can put your Mii people on your team! We really enjoy that, my son tells me all the time whether I hit a home run or not. Best game I have bought so far."

What's great about it: Fun, great minigames, very entertaining
What's not so great: 4 player is a little akward, cpu players know exactly where the ball is going.

"This game is really fun, You can use Mario charecters or use your Mii's. The single player mode is a little stupid, and beating dosent get you much, but the minigame and the toy stadium are extremely fun! Baseball games are great many choices and the specials make it fun for everyone."
