What's great about it: clothes come out 100% clean, love the delay time
What's not so great: Takes a long time for cycle
I love my new washer and dryer. My last one lasted 15 years, so there are many new features I did not have. The steam feature gets my son's football uniforms clean as new. I love that I can put a load on before I go to work and have it delay start and end just as I am coming home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Clothes come out feeling very clean
What's not so great: Must dry inside of the door & seal
This washer is great. The delivery driver set it up perfectly. I had an early Neptune before that lasted 10 years. I've had this washer 3 months.This washer does a better job, uses less water, detergent, softner and bleach. It takes longer to do a load, but it has a digital clock that tells you how long the load will take to finish. I've read other reviews that complain about mildew. This is a problem with most front loaders. The manual stresses to be very diligent about drying the seal inside the door and the door itself, and/or leave the door open. I bought my washer on sale, but it is expensive.
I'm very happy with my purchase. And not many people see my washer...but it is very cool looking!!

We got the pair of LG the Washer and Dryer last week.
Model for Washer is the 4.5 cu. ft. HE SteamWasher (WM3001HWA) and a LG 7.4 cu. Electric Steam Dryer.

We had a pair of Kenmore Elite before. The new LGs compare with our old Kenmore Elite.
The dryer's noise level is about the same with my old Kenmore Elite. But I felt I got more static than my old Kenmore Elite.
The washer's noise level is much lower the old Kenmore Elite. People will barely notice that it was working while we watch TV. (I put them side by side on the concrete floor.)
Cons:
Price expensive
Require HE detergent
Since it saves energy and water, of course there is a tradeoff. It’s using more time. The washing time is longer my old Kenmore Elite.

The only reason I gave them a 4 not 5 is that I only have them one week. I don’t know their stability and services quality.

What's great about it: many options, large capacitiy, sleak design
What's not so great: little noisy
This is one the best washer I have ever bought. It have a nice look.
It have a lot of options for the wash cycle. With the large capacity of this washer, I can wash my queen size comforter with no problem...
The think I don't like about it, is it a little bit noisy, but it didn't really brother me that much since I put it in my basement, I don't care about the noice, as long as my clothes come out clean and nice. It also take a bit longer time to wash than my old top load washer, but there is a quick cycle option you can choose if you dont want to wait....

What's great about it: Easy Operation, Very Quiet, Economic
What's not so great: So far nothing
We have owned the combination for just over a week and have used them everyday. After listening to our Maytag Neptune for the last 12 years, it is a real pleasure to not know when a wash is being done. Both machines are so quiet. The appearance and ease of setting up and completing a wash are so convenient.

I would not recommend this washer. It is too expensive for what it delivers. It leaks water and soap. It makes too much noise. It takes too long to wash.
