What's great about it: compact & portable & light weight
What's not so great: Display is not lighted
In my line of work we do a lot of report writing and this Franklin Merriam Webster Intermediate Dictionary helps me a lot, I just love it. It's a great tool for in the field work.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: easy to read without glasses
What's not so great: nothing
This is a great dictionary... Especially phonetics

What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Not advanced... doesn't have a lot of words, broke taking it out of the package
I got this for college, so I wouldn't have to carry a big dictionary/thesaraus. Just taking it out of the package the hinge for the cover broke. Then I found that many of the words I was looking up weren't in there. I have a very good vocabulary, and did not need to spend $40 for a dictionary that will only define words I already know. It really should be marketed toward kids. To add to my annoyance, I found a tiny pocket dictionary which suits my needs for $4.50 just 3 weeks later, and am now stuck with this worthless piece of equipment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's not so great: It doesnt have all the words, synonyms... I still have to carry a dictionary with me..
its a good dictionary but it doesnt have some words & I have to keep dictionary with me no matter what....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Franklin brand is known to be promising and reliable. The price that Best Buy displays is great. Most office and book stores will charge twenty bucks more. As for the product itself, it isn't the 11th edition but it will carry on its purpose perfectly when it comes to term papers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: dim screen
i like to keep this handy when reading books or writing papers. it is inexpensive and much slimmer than a dictionary
