What's great about it: I rave so much on the sleek design and all the touch features
What's not so great: after taking 30 pictures the battery tends to die on you. I would purchase a another battery for a spare
Can't complain about the sleek design. But thats all it is... Yes, it's a looks great but what's a good looking camera if the battery dies on you. 20-30 pictures tops and it shuts down.

What's great about it: It's Ballin'
What's not so great: Doesn't Make Coffee
Well I got this product about 4 months now and i haven't had any complaints about it yet. it takes great pictures in the auto mode. manual takes some time to get use to the interface but gives the ability to manipulate key camera features. One thing that the sony's had a problem with was taking pictures indoors with low lighting (oh lets say when you take a picture in the evening or having yellow lighting, like in a chandelier" the pictures would come out with very high ISO's but with high ISO means very grainy picture with digital cameras. I dont run into that problem with this sony camera. My sister borrows it when she goes out to parties, club, ect with her girls... you know the "I JUST WANT TO DANCE." thing. The pictures come out really good better any anyone else's cameras.... Unless its the Cannon 1100IS which is a amazing camera as well. any who. If you looking to buy a camera that is thin, sexy, HAS 4GB OF BUILT IN MEMORY FOR ABOUT 1000 PICTURES CAPACITY, Crystal Lens, good flash, and is easy to use because it has an EASY MODE, great white balance (better than the S60), and has touch screen get this one. Oh BTW to those people that are saying that the touch screen is to touchy... dont buy a touch screen camera... besides your touching the screen its not touching you. maybe your too touchy for the camera

What's great about it: great pictures, cool features
What's not so great: indoor pixilation
I read many reviews before deciding to purchase the T-700. I even tested the camera out at Best Buy to make sure it was the camera I wanted to get. It took excellent pictures and the features were easily accessible. It took me no time to figure this thing out. So, then I ordered it from Dell because I got a killer deal on it. The camera arrived, I charged the battery, and then I turned the camera on. My living room, dining room, and kitchen lights were all on and the first thing I noticed was how pixilated the lcd screen was. I snapped a few photos anyways to see how it would look, which turned out real crisp. I took the camera outdoors and the lcd screen looked absolutely crystal clear. I decided to go back inside and change the settings around to see if any of it would help with the indoor pixilation. None of it did. I then tested the video mode indoors too and it looked awful. Dell sent me a replacement, but it still has that problem. I haven't really read that being a problem for other people, but i've had it on two sony t-700's. If I were to strictly take photos outdoors during the day, it would be perfect. Even though the photos come out fine, the pixilation bugs me because I want to actually see the picture I am about to take and want clear video.

What's great about it: Small, sleek camera. large screen
What's not so great: Touch screen too easy to touch, screen shows fingerprintes too easily
I picked out this camera for Christmas. I opened it Christmas Eve and was very excited to use it. Unfortunately all my pictures came out with white looking spots at various spots on the photos. I thought that I had the settings wrong, so I reset everything back to "auto".Still spots. So Best Buy easily exchanged it for a new one. Used that one for about two weeks and noticed that in low light settings the flash wouldn't automatically go off. So I went to look for the "flash on" button and it wasn't there. The original camera had it, the manual said it should be there, Best Buy said it should be there, but it wasn't. So tonight I exchanged it for a Nikon Cool Pix S550. I hope to have better luck with this one. I loved my old Cyber Shot, but was very upset with this one.

What's great about it: Sexy and sleek!
What's not so great: Battery life
As you will read on these reviews the battery life is not that great...I would recommend, just like we did, buying the longer life battery, you would have to do that with any camera if not buy another battery. Who walks around with only one battery these days, especially on vacation and nights out :o)
Now, to the good stuff. My last camera that I owned was the Canon SD550 and although I love this camera VERY much, even to this day the Sony pretty much out does it. I did my reviews and found that the Sony went above and beyond expectations compared to the Nikon regarding touch screen. I am nothing but impressed. The picture quality and colors are amazing. The EASY feature is THE BEST for point and shoot. I party and I love to go out and it's just perfect for when we're out on the town. Touch screen feature is awesome...there have been a couple times where I went too fast and there was a delay but all in all this camera is well worth the buy!!!!
Get this camera, you won't regret it!

What's great about it: Ultra compact so it's always on hand for those grand kid shots. Great slide shows. Fun touch screen with stylus.
What's not so great: Lens on upper left side so fingers can easily get in the shot. Careful how you hold it.
There is nothing like this digital camera. Very cool, very fun. Beautiful pictures, especially if you use the program mode to accommodate for your setting and lighting. Even without using a computer you can create six different wonderful slide shows to share BIG screen pictures with others. I have two Canon cameras and love their pictures, screens and controls. But no camera is this compact and easy to use in a moment. People always notice this camera and are fascinated by its size and the quality of the pictures. You do have to learn to hold it by the edges. The touch screen is not particularly intuitive but once you learn its features, it's a snap to program the camera to your liking. If you want ultra portability and like hi-tech features, you'll love this Sony!

What's great about it: Video Mode
What's not so great: Still photos
Very disappointed with this camera. The photos are not crisp. Don't be fooled by the 10 megapixels. The surprise of this camera is its video mode which is quite good. The microphone picks up well too, so I'm impressed with the movies. But, you can certainly do better than this camera..

What's great about it: LCD and 4 gigs of memory
What's not so great: Poor battery life and touch screen
Product was purchased to replace my DSC-W90 that was stolen while on vacation. I purchased it due to the fact that it was slim, had a great LCD screen and 4 gigs of built in memory. The pictures looked good and the menus were easy to use
However I returned the camera after a weeks worth of use due to the following facts.
1. Battery life was completely unacceptable and there is no view finder so conserving battery life is not an option. After a complete charge the battery would only last a short period of time (not even through unwrapping Christmas presents)
2. As I would hand the camera to people to view pictures or take pictures they would accidentally touch the touch screen and change the settings. I had the same issue a few times as there is no space around the outside of the touch screen so you have to hold the camera by the edges. While after some time I am sure it would be a non issue for myself to use but I felt I would constantly be annoyed by having to change things back after having others touch the touch screen and accidentally changing settings.
I replace the T700 with the W170, while it is not as cool looking it is a solid camera that is easy to use for everyone in the family.

What's great about it: Easiest Point & Shoot on the market.
What's not so great: Pricy...but worth the money.
As a professional photographer I wanted a camera that was fun and easy to use. The Sony T 700h is just that. Just slide the front cover open and it's ready to go. Pictures are automatically sorted in a handy calander for quick viewing. The camera is so small you can put in your front pocket and you'll never know you're carrying the camera around. The menu is easy and interactive with the viewer. A fun camera that will have you taking pictures all the time.

What's great about it: Lots of Features, 4GB of Built-in Memory, Touch Screen, Automatic Scence Selector
What's not so great: Price, Kind of Hard to Find Out How to Put Music on It
This is an amazing camera. There's so much that you can do with it. It's sleek, and not bulky at all, so it can fit into your pocket, and the touch screen makes it very easy to use. I think what I love most is the automatic scene selector, where the camera can automatically adjust itself to your scence, (landscape, portrait, etc.). The flash is also automatic and adjusts itself according to the light.

What's great about it: Easy to use, touchscreen
What's not so great: battery life
This has been a great camera sofar, but i have only had it for about a week. I bought it for a trip i took to Costa Rica and it performed perfectly. Picture quality is excellent, and it is easy to use. Out on the water (sport fishing) it took excellent pictures despite the motion of the boat and ocean. Only negative is short battery life. I had to charge it every night and sometimes on the boat. Overall excellent camera.

What's great about it: Huge screen and all the cool features
What's not so great: Finger prints, but doesnt bother me very much
I was wanting the Nikon touch screen camera, but my boyfriend was looking onlin about it and he just found a lot of negative reviews about it, so we look up the Sony and nobody said anything bad about it just the thing about the finger prints on the screen. So he order the Sony one ofline and it finally came, and I have not stopped playing with it yet. It is the BEST camera ever. GREAT picture quality and cool features! BUY IT

What's great about it: Snappy camera
What's not so great: Photo quality leaves a little noise and imperfections
As I whole I am an fan of Sony. They make good quality products. This camera is no exception. It's a sturdy camera with a spacious touch screen and the internal memory is a nice touch. In addition, the response time is particularly excellent. However, picture quality can sometimes be spotty. For example, in a picture of myself, the top part of my head disappeared and appeared translucent (sounds a little redundant). Also, when zoomed in, the picture began to show noticable noise. However, the amount of noise was average while the only camera that depletes noise well is a professional level D50 Nikon DSLR. Personally I would recommend the camera instead. Although it's not as stylish and thin, it is still fairly pocketetable and it takes slightly sharper photos.

What's great about it: Amazing features and extremely easy to use for so many features, VERY NICE SET UP
What's not so great: Price was a little high, but shop around Best Buy has Price Match!!!! Curcuit City Cough Cough
Amazing Camera, i originall wanted the Nikon S60 so i went into the store with the intent to buy that, when i pick up the nikon i was extremely dissapointed with the look of the buttons on the touch screen itself, they are extremly big and pixelated!. the sony was right next to it, and just looking at the display is work the extra 20 bucks for it when its all worked out. it has built in 4 gb and u cant beat that, plus with the price match best buy has, i got it for $360. there are tons of features on the phone but they are all extremly easy to learm, there is a on screen description when u click on a feature that tells what it does. this helps out a tone, i took one look at the manual and it doesnt tell you much more that the camera itself doesnt. GREAT CAMERA dont go with anything else.

What's great about it: Lots of features
What's not so great: Almost too many features
Camera is appealing to beginner and intermediate photographers. "Auto" functions make quick point-and-shoot a cinch for beginners, "Advanced" functions allow intermediate users to customize their shots (see my example - using 16:9, Auto, Macro - On, No Flash). Sleek size and shape make it compact enough for a night on the town. I've been a Cyber Shot fan for four years - and this one (#2) is far from disappointing!

What's great about it: Very small, huge LCD, cool touch screen and simple to navigate!
What's not so great: $$$$ Very expensive compared to other compacts/slims.
My wife wanted something simple and small compared to our Canon Digital SLR, and I found both of those requirements in this camera! The touchscreen LCD is very cool and very easy to navigate. All the icons on very self explanatory, although manual clarifys alot of it. The camera has a nice weight to it that makes it fell robust even though it's very small. I did buy the store warranty just in case. The touchscreen LCD, the size of it and also the way the cover slides over the lense all seem like possible weak points for breakage. I love the internal memory also. As with most sony items, their accessories (batteries, cables, etc) are rather pricey.
The only downside to the camera is it's price compared to others of it's size. Granted it's the only one like it right now, still seems a bit high for what's there.
Overall, easy to use, awesome pics, cool technology and fun to use.
Highly recommend.

What's great about it: Easy to take a quick picture, smile finder and blink finder. Touch Screen is Great
What's not so great: Lens in upper left. Proprietary Memory. No software support for Mac / IPhoto.
I do like this camera although only have a few weeks of use so far. Easy to push the lens cover down and start snapping pictures. The viewfinder seems to find all sorts of details in the subject. It finds faces and identifies adult vs. child. Additionally, it has some miraculous technology that identifies if a smile is present in the picture or if eyes are closed, allowing you to keep pressing to get the perfect picture.
I do have to get used to the lens being in the top corner of the camera. Without being careful, it's easy to let a finger drop down and get into the picture. I do think that this is something that I will easily overcome. The other thing is that I like to do is force a flash on a sunny day for faces. This requires several steps to switch to manual mode and then force the flash. Not a big deal though.
I wish that there was support for IPhoto so that I could use it as the photo gallery that many people are so much in love with. But, alas, as a Mac user I'm out of luck while Sony keeps trying to force their proprietary Memory Stick technology on us. I really wish it took standard SD digital memory.
Lastly is the touch screen which is good and bad. Fun and easy to maneuver around in, but sometimes too easy to accidently activate when you just want to snap a picture. I'm leaning overall in favor of the touch screen though.
