"This is a good game, the graphics are awesome and the songs are good, the down side though is that this is practically RB1 with different songs, same default characters, same customization options, etc. it's a good game other wise and worth the price"

"Rock band2 by far is my favorite music game out and always will be. First of all I would like to mention that one of the reviewers on here said that the 20 free downloadable songs are not true. Well you have to take the RB2 instruction manual to your computer and follow the directions. Otherwise I have not found one thing wrong with RB2. The customization, set list, and every mode in the game is awesome. The DLC of Rock Band is great which just adds on to the replay value of the game. Otherwise it truly is a great game."

What's great about it: fixed the instruments, fun, great songs, online, battle of the bands, EVERYTHING What's not so great: NOTHING is bad about this game at all
"This is the best music game on the market right now. Guitar Hero World Tour is great, but it has alot of flaws just like RB1 did. But with RB2, they have fixed those flaws that couldn't be fixed in GH because it was their first full band game. The song list on this is incredible, and the gameplay is still phenominal. There aren't really any changes in graphics and gameplay, but they were great on the first one so it doesn't matter. The drums are once again the best, and have been upgraded. GO GET THIS GAME RIGHT NOW!"

What's great about it: Songs that I wish were on the first one What's not so great: Some songs repeat more than others when doing the world tour on different set lists.
"All I have to say is that I am happy to see songs that are more fun to play than the first RockBand. Chop Suey, Livin on a Prayer, Give It Away are some of my favorites, not just for the fact that they are great songs but also fun to play with groups. Gameplay is great, in single player mode, you can play any instrument at any difficulty and not just play one song, move to the next, and repeat. Fun for anyone who enjoyed the first one."

"Great sequel to rock band 1. Almost all 84 songs are great, however some are horrible, boring, and i have no idea why they are on it...but the other 83-81 songs are really fun. The drum set needs to be better, but I'm not going to pay for the super high end one."

"Rock Band 2 feels just like the original Rock Band and that isn't a bad thing. Rock Band 2 expands on the band experience with special challenges and the "battle of the bands" feature over Xbox Live.
The only down side for me was if you want to have all the songs on the disc available for quick play you will have to unlock them in Band World Tour or you can just use a code, but you will not get achievements. Otherwise this game is great and defenatly recommend, especially if you have a group of friends that can come over and help you take the world by storm."

"My friends and I all love this game. The track list is amazing, especially with Motley Crue's Dr. Feelgood album available for download. The ONLY thing I don't like about this game is the fact that the cymbals have to be purchased separately for the wireless drum kit."

What's great about it: Highly Addictive What's not so great: Needs more familiar hits & less unknown "B side" tracks.
"Another great hit for what it has now become the Rock Band Revolution. The tracks are great but it's a tease when you mostly have one song to play per artist. There are many songs in mind that would make the experience more incredible, but probably would not make the Teen rating. Perhaps they should make tracks like Godsmack's "Greed" available for online downloading and give the people a chance to rock a little harder. The instruments are not much different from RB1 with the exception of the nice but potentially pricey drums set. With the add on symbols as an option, you can only dream if you're struggling just to make enough to get a 2nd guitar (for bass) in order to complete the band. The live option is cool, especially when you're in the mood, but don't have anyone to play with. Battle of the Bands is also a cool feature. The graphics could use some work. Either way, RB2 will not disappoint as it digs into your soul and brings out the rocker in all of us. ROCK ON!"
