What's great about it: Euphoria Engine (GTA4 physics engine) What's not so great: Short Single player with no multiplayer
"It is quite a fun game the first time through...than thats it, nothing else to do except bump up the difficulty and play the game all over again, and get some more achievements and upgrades. When you play the game you may notice that at times your floating, and it gets worst to the point where you think they spent no time fixing it. Without the Euphoria engine it wouldn't even have a chance on the market due to other problems. If your willing to spend a couple of bucks more, there is content that may provide at most a hour to the game making it a 15 hour at the best without much replay."

What's great about it: Cool force powers What's not so great: Repatative, easy, no variety.
"Do not be fulled by the amazing physics engine, Euphoria, that this game runs on. Seeing stormtroopers try and grab onto things while they are being hurled through the air is only fun for the first 10 minutes or so.
This game suffers from lack of varied enemies, a so-so story, and a VERY short playthrough.
Force Powers, while cool for a while, are limited and can get old fast. Every time you force push an enemy off a cliff, he falls the same. Every time you force lightning someone, it looks the same. Everything is the same.
The boss battles are stupidly easy, and are brought down even further with the cheesy 'button mash action sequences'.
In closing, its worth renting...because thats all it will take to be done with the game. Save thirty bucks, just go rent it."

What's great about it: Graphics, story line, replay value What's not so great: camera angles, some game bugs and glitches, no multiplayer
"Overall, I felt this was a great game. It held my attention but as other posters have stated, the game felt short. There is an expansion pack, with one additional level, available on the xbox marketplace but it's going to cost 800 microsoft points or an additional 10 bucks. The one downside to this is that you have to start a new game to access the download content (dlc).
As you play throughthe game, you feel bonded with the character and I couldn't wait to see what happens next. I do wish there was more to explore throughout the game as in most cases it felt linear.
To play this game, you may have to exercise patience as some areas and boses can give you quite a challenge until you figure them out. Camera angles can also prove to be a challenge especially when trying to locate the collectable holocrons throughout the game. I found myself playing this game on different difficulties which made me appreciate the game even more as i attempted to unlock more achievements."

What's great about it: Use of force powers, powerups, playing as an apprentice What's not so great: Game is a bit short. Levels could be more difficult
"I think only Star Wars fans will appreciate this game. Although I enjoy the Star Wars universe, Force Unleashed is still fun to play. The story takes place betwen Ep. 3 and 4, as you play as Vader's apprentice. The game does a great job tying the 2 trilogies."

What's great about it: Cool Concept of a story, Darth Vader is always cool, force powers! What's not so great: 6 hours long, enemies are to tough, Controls are bad.
"Me and my friend bought this game when it came out because we thought it would be good but turns out it wasnt that good at all!
The story is cool since ur darth vaders apprentice and thats sweet. But they could have done so much more with the game. It just seems like its over way to fast and it seems that the developers were bragging about nothing even though they had 1 hour specials on the G4. I think the music was good though overall but the game just felt to clunky and didnt respond the way that it should"

What's great about it: The feel of being in the game What's not so great: The only problem is that the game is too short.
"I love this game! In it, you take the place of Darth Vader's secret apprentice. This is set in between episodes 3 and 4. You remain hidden from the Emperor until his spies locate you and Vader has to kill you. However, you survive and he brings you back to heal you. He keeps you locked in a glass cage so the Emperor will not find you. You break free, though, and its pretty awesome what you do after that. You have some friends. Juno, your eighth pilot, who you fall in love with, is one. The previous pilots have all been killed. Your multitasking protocol droid, Proxy, is your other. In this game, I think the physics and the graphics are the best thing about it. Also, I like the story. You go from Sith to Jedi. The music is also just wicked . I think Force Unleashed is a great game."

What's great about it: fun while it lasts for star wars fans What's not so great: replay value
"I would stick to a rental for this one. Star wars fans will appreciate the game for what it is. The gameplay is fun but it doesn't last very long. The AI isn't quite what you would expect in the newer 360 games. There isn't much replay value here at all."

What's great about it: Graphics, Story, Its Star Wars. What's not so great: Way Too Short.
"From the beginning of star wars, up till now, it has always had a huge fan base. I would recommend this game to anyone that loves and enjoys Star Wars. Non Star Wars fans should look otherwise though. The mechanics of this game are at first amazing, but become dull. The story holds you, but does it softly. The game is fun and exciting up to the very end but the end is right around the next corner. I found this game to be one of the best star wars action games I have ever played in a long time. But to be honest, it doesn't cut it close to being a great game. One, it lacks a great story telling atmosphere. Two, it lacks on adventure and exploration qualities. And three, which in my opinion was the worse part of this game, it isn't long at all. Good for a fan, bad for a noobie. All in all, this game is fun, but it doesn't hold as long as it could have."

What's great about it: Good Concept, Destructable enviornments What's not so great: Dumb AI, Average Graphics/Voice overs, repetitive game play, frame rate issues
"Im just going to put this simply, this game is very dissapointing. Lucas Arts is known for much more than this. My main problem is the fact that the game is so linear, compared to todays Open Ended games, this game just follows one path, and one path only.
Another problem i encountered was some frame rate issues, it lagged up when i was slashing more than around 10 guys on screen. Also, the enemies are very repetitive, as clone like as stormtroopers.
Overall, I think that they could have done more with this game, they cut alot of corners. This could have used at least another year in developement, though for reasons i do not know, it came out now, lacking severely compared to other top games."

What's great about it: Cool combos and abilities, plus it is in the Star Wars universe What's not so great: Annoying jumping puzzles and poor line of sight controls
"I really like the game. The only thing keeping me from loving it is just dealing with the way the camera moves around your character. At times it seems to automatically choose the most ridiculous angles that cut the foe you are fighting right off of the screen as you move. You have to manually override it with one of the joystick stalks. Which works find enough but stinks if you are getting hit and your angle keeps changing. And this can also make the various jumping puzzles a bit difficult as you cannot always make out a safe place to land while moving.
I think though I am just a bit jaded cause I come from years of playing PC games with a much better control interface. If you play console games regularly you might not have the problems I do with the controls."

What's great about it: Character customizability, good action, lots of force powers What's not so great: Short game, repetitive fighting, no multiplayer
"Unleashed is a fun game that packs in a lot of features for those who enjoy Star Wars. The only things lacking are that it is relatively short and with no multiplayer there might not be a lot of replayability."

What's great about it: Story,Voice Acting,Sound What's not so great: Camera,Boss Fights,Load Times,Gameplay
"This is one of those games that's a hit or miss.Because the gameplay is really not all that tight. Some of the camera angles seem off center, and why is there long load times when you go into menus? And the boss fights they really don't put that much work into. But the graphics are good to look at.And the story is a little enjoyable, but that doesn't always make for a good game.Maybe if they spent more time with controls, boss fights, and camera instead of the things listed above they would have made for a much better game in the end."
