I've only had this a couple of weeks so cannot speak to its long term quality. An average load takes about 50 minutes (which is a serious upgrade from the 2 hours from my old dryer). You really can dry a small load in 18 minutes (not anything heavy like a towel or sweatshirt). This dryer is seriously HUGE!! The different settings do really allow you to customize. I have noticed things are less wrinkled using the "perfect tumble" setting. It is extremely quiet.
My only complaints are:
1- If you toss in 1 towel with a load of t-shirts (or something like that) the towel will still be a tiny bit damp as the sensors pick up the overall "dryness" of the load.
2- I tried the "steam" setting to get some wrinkles out of a shirt and it had some fairly wet spots in it after the cycle so I had to run it through a short dry cycle too.

I can not say how much I love this machine. It is the BEST.
I had an 11 year old set of front loading machines before I bought this set. The old set was small and my clothes were always twisted up in a big knot. I love to wash laundry now!
The gift cards from Best Buy were a nice bonus as well. We bought the matching steam dryer and pedestals which are also great!
I was amazed when I washed our King size extra thick comforter with room to spare.
What's great about it: Largest Capicity, Reversible doors, and Cloths do not come out all twisted as they did in my old front load washer
What's not so great: End of wash chime
I would recommend this to a friend!
