The whole fe series of cameras is good for taking simple pictures. do not buy this if you intent to use it in a harsh environment. after using at a concert this camera is junk and will not take pictures. next time will buy the stylus series which are tougher.
What's great about it: ease of use, price, picture quality
What's not so great: not durable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bouth this camera as a chrsitmas gift to myself and i verry pleased so far. the camera had all the features i was looking for. and the price was only $99. It takes great pictures indoor or outdoor, has a rechargable lithium ion battery (no more having to buy alkaline of nimh for it.), and it comes with a video cable to connect to your tv (Perfect for taking self portraits or videos.) The only things that i wish were different about the camera is the ability to use it as a webcam (my first two cameras had that ability and i just got use to having it.) and the ability to charge it via the usb cable. (That way you dont have to take the battery out to charge it.) Overall it is great camera for the price and i would defidently recommend it to a friend.
What's great about it: Price, Rechargable battery, East to use,
What's not so great: No Webcam function, not able to charge battery while in camera
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had the camera after the black friday sale. Over all, the camera's nice. It's just that, whenever I take pictures indoor, it appears that the pics i take are kinda darker than their real colors. And also if the subject you're taking is not that near, it'll be darker as well. I need to activate the night scene before I could take good pics indoor. But other than that, quality of the pics are nice.
Video is superb (using the Olympus xD card). However, you have to connect it first on the PC or TV in order for you to hear the sound captured.
What's great about it: good quality picture, easy to use, nice for beginners
What's not so great: indoor pictures are kinda dark...
I would recommend this to a friend!

the camera seems to be good so far, i've only had it since halloween. it was a lil difficult figuring out how to use it since i'm not a geek so i was a lil pist about that and didn't want to read the manual. if your looking for something that will do the basics and a few other things i would recommend this camera, nice look, price and the brand is a good quality brand. ...UGH! i wished i would have waited 2 more FN weeks
What's great about it: price though i wished i would have waited 2 weeks to buy it
What's not so great: takes a lil time to get the understanding of it

This little camera is a delight to use. It takes sharp pictures and it's easy to use and adjust. I've had several Olympus cameras and this one continues their great optics, unusually good macro modes, and all-around quality. The controls are very intuitive, and the instruction manual gives adequate information, although the print is too small and hard to read (for me, anyway). Although I haven't used it for business purposes, I'm planning to use it for some close-up product photography - the quality optics, 8 megapixels, and super macro mode are more than adequate. I wish it offered a remote, but the self-timer serves the purpose most of the time. Great value for the price.
What's great about it: Great picture quality, super macro mode, great versatility, self-timer.
What's not so great: Wish it had a remote but that's minor as the self-timer is a good substitute
I would recommend this to a friend!

great camera by a trustworthy company just wish it had audio when recording a video otherwise go get yourself one 5 stars
What's great about it: pricing was great couldn't beat it to me the camera is worth more than what i got it for
What's not so great: only one little thing i wish it had audio thats it

This camera is incredible. If you just want a camera for taking some pictures of every day things and maybe some artsy shots here and there this is great. goo pic quality and decent zoom. perfect camera.
