I got these cause they looked cool, well let me tell you THEY ARE COOL. Not only is the sound quality amazing, even at high volume, they too feel so soft! I do say that they can get a wee bit 'uncomfortable' if you have wet hair )after a shower) and the top of them where it sits on ur head can get itchy... ha, but they are amazing!

I got this headset on sale for $25 and you cant beat it for that price. Now that I have used them I would not have a problem paying full price for them, good sound and the mic works well too. I wish they would work for my Xbox360 .

I purchased these headset for my wife as a just because gift about a year ago cause she loves to play reality games online and was looking for a gaming headset that had a mic so she could occasionally talk and that would be comfortable on her head. This actually was her second pair as her first pair was a lemon. One of the ear phones went out after just one month and no one knows why and everyone said that it has never happened like that before. So we returned them and picked up a second pair. Until this pair just cracked a few days ago on the band that makes them loose or tighter right over one of the ear pieces. I would still recommend them for the price you can't get much better as they are comfortable, the price is right, and the mic is clear w/ no static and picks up nicely so people can hear on the other end.
What's great about it: Comfortable, Great Price, Mic is clear w/no static
What's not so great: Craftsmanship

This headset has decent audio quality and is simple to use. Just after a year of moderate use, the headband snapped just above the left ear piece. This happened from taking them on and off. I did not travel or abuse this headset in any way.
What's not so great: Use fatigue leads to breakage
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These headphones may look great and have a great price, but only one of those is true. The price for these headphones was good for the product, although it could be cheaper for the quality. The headphones are stylish and professional, and it's ease of use through the headphone jack is really the only advantages. The cushions got dirty quickly, and seemed a little too stiff for comfort, making your ears hurt after only about 30 minutes.
The sound was amazing for such a low quality product. I was very satisfied. The control "panel" was okay. The mute button was really useful as I do live streaming and needed a mute button on the fly. The audio adjustments were average but really useless as it didn't change the volume too dramatically.
The real problem with these headphones though was the mic. It's convenient hide able location was a genius idea. The quality of it was also satisfactory. Unfortunately, this thing broke VERY easily. Customer service was awesome and set me another one, but it only took a month or two for it to break once again.
For all its disadvantages, I don't recommend this. Rather, I would suggest looking to another company like razer, logitech, turtle beach, or any other company that makes headphones.

I bought these about 3 months ago and am still amazed every time I put them on.
First, let me say that I went into the store to buy the cheaper plantronics model after reading online reviews but when I saw these I realized they were a much better value.
The cables are high quality. I've run over mine with the wheels on my chair and yanked them off my head a few times as well and the cables have only tiny scuffs on them.
Sound quality is phenomenal. Having a volume control on the headset comes in handy because it seems like no 2 applications have the same sound level.
And being able to completely hide the microphone boom when it's not in use is so convenient. There is a noise cancelling feature and it seems to work slightly better when the boom is down.
My only complaint is that the headset is a little uncomfortable at first, but after a week's time I was used to them.
What's great about it: great sound quality, solid design, great price
What's not so great: honestly nothing

This headset has been great for me so far. I have had it for 3 months now and have only had one issue with it.
The headset is a little small so anyone with bigger head or wears glasses might experience some head pains for the first couple uses.
The mic works fantastic, never have had any issues with it during skype and in-game chats. The speakers on this also work very well.
The padding on it is very thick making it very confortable.
I would 100% recommend to a friend.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: To Small for Big Heads.

I bought these headset just over a year ago. Good quality for the price. However, buyers be aware. These headsets are pretty heavy, and if you got a above average head they might not be comfortable. I popped my all up and the top cusion still bothered me, and I shave my hear. I can only imagine what it feels like if someone has thick hair. They broke today on the side. Right above the microphone I stretched them out so I can put them on and BAM they snapped.
What's great about it: Sounds quality, easy use, volume controls on the cord.
What's not so great: Durability, design, comfortability, microphone, the cord (gets tangled up).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Now, don't take this as if I have had this product for years, because I haven't. I've had this product for about a month now, and so far, it does just what it says it will.

So, I'd say that this product is worth your money.

I bought this headset about 4 months ago and so far I am having no problem. The mic quality is very good, but can pic up some outside noise quite easily, if its loud enough. The headset itself is very big, and the pictures don't do it justice, I expected something smaller. They are extremely comfortable also, which is a plus because my past headsets always seemed to be uncomfortable. The wire itself is thick and will be hard to break.
What's great about it: Durable, Comfortable, mic sound quality, big, thick wire
What's not so great: Mic sometimes picks up outside noise very easily

Plugged this in, put them on. Tested them out with some youtube videos. Had my husband talk to me to see if I could hear him nicely since one of the things advertised is that I'm not shut out from my outside world just because I'm wearing them. I could hear him nicely even with them on. As soon as I logged into Vent and tried to talk to people, people said I sounded horrible, muffled, and a lot of my words were cut off. Plugged in my old $20 logitech pair that my cat chewed through the wire with and they could hear me just fine. So, while comfortable, they didn't really do the trick.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had this headset since December and since opening this headset i've had no issues with them what so ever. Funny how when I went to go buy this set the best buy guy tried to sell me a pair for 15 bucks more and said they were all out of this headset, well after asking him to go to the back and see if they had any left he found a pair for me.
Anyway on to the review, this headset i'd have to say is wonderful, the sound is clear for gaming and video watching and I wear them for no less then 4 hours every day. The mic works great and i've had no complaints on vent or skype about it. The one silly thing I like about this pair is the clip it comes with on the cord I just clip it on one of the strings of my hoodie and I don't even feel the wire being there, very nice!
I don't really think people with bigger heads though should get this pair I say this because I have a smaller head yet for the first month or so it was still tight on my head and because I have glasses with the larger plastic sides I actually ended up with a pretty painful experiance on the side behind my right ear it was red and sore and hurt to all heck. But after wearing them for awhile they loosened up and feel great now so for people with smaller heads great set, if you have a larger head don't go with this set in all honesty.
What's great about it: good price very comftorble
What's not so great: not meant for people with larger heads

for 50 bucks i was expecting these to be louder... that said they seem well built and are decently comfortable. im hopping when i get my new sound card there will be better options to turn it up louder with less distortion.

I purchased this headset to replace my uncomfortable headset. These are comfortable, and feel like they are made to to be very durable. The microphone is this headset's downfall. My voice sounds muffled, even with the mic as close to my mouth as it will go. And there is a bit of a time delay when receiving sound through the microphone.
I exchanged it for a new one, and the same problems persist. I do not recommend this if for a headset with a microphone. It is good at being huge comfortable headphones.

I purchased this headset last year to replace a broken Logitech gaming headset.
The good:
- The cushioning around the ears is very comfortable for long gaming sessions or conference calls. It feels like velvet, and after 1 year was holding up very well (albeit somewhat dusty).
- Microphone quality is clear. I used it mostly for conference calls for work, but works just as well with gaming sessions

The bad:
- The first time I bought this, there was a rattling in the right ear, so I had to return it and get a replacement from Best Buy. The second unit was fine
- After 1 year, the left ear just snapped off at a weak point. Very disappointed because the rest of the unit was like new
- Also, right before the headset broke, there was a distinct POP that would occur infrequently in the right ear that was very annoying
- The first time I bought this, there was a rattling in the right ear, so I had to return it and get a replacement from Best Buy. The second unit was fine

After the headset broke, I RMA'ed the unit through Plantronics website, and the company Overnight-Shipped me a new unit that works very well. I give the company an A+ for ease to work with. Just make sure you keep your receipt and proof of purchase!
What's great about it: Audio quality and comfort are beat other headsets
What's not so great: Broke after 1 year (but company was good for RMA)

I spent a lot of time debating what headset I wanted to buy for my PC online gaming.
I was thinking about getting Razer - Carcharias, which my boyfriend has already. A lot of people raved about it. However, within a month or two of owning it the sound and mic stopped working altogether. Also, whenever I wore them, even with the sides shortened all the way, they were too big for my head and fell off all the time. Best Buy replaced them, but I don't want to go through all that. I checked online and saw that GameCon was a lower price and had better review ratings overall, so I decided to give them a try.
They fit perfectly. They are very comfortable. The sound is excellent and my friends on Ventrillo say they can hear me perfectly. I love that I can tuck away the mic rather than just swivel it out of the way. I'm not nervous that I might catch on it and rip it off when I'm not using it. The over the ear style works out great with having pierced ears - most headsets push my earrings into my head, these don't.
I am not concerned by what I read about some complaining that they don't stretch to fit well and break, seeing as I don't need to stretch them to wear them. I only plan on having these for a few more months until I can afford a decent wireless set.
I would definitely recommend these to my friends, especially female ones seeing as these won't fall off smaller heads like the Razer - Carcharias were doing when I used them.

I've had this pair of headphones for a few years now and they are amazing in all ways but durability.
The maddeningly over-sized earphones fit perfectly over my Spock ears and leave great breathing room, which is hard to find in headsets. They're very easy to set up for anyone, requiring only two short wires that fit perfectly into the PC. The controls are perfectly simple with only an on/of switch and a volume control. Mic quality is amazing as well.
The only real downside to this set of headphones is the durability of the frame -- the plastic isn't that flexible, and mine simply snapped after I took it off my head one too many times. Also, the microphone's swiveling mount has a tendency to become loose, you can sometimes hear little bits of plastic rattling around inside, and the ear cushions tend to accumulate dust.
However, none of those above problems affected the sheer quality and comfort of these headphones -- not even the snapped frame made a difference with some masking tape. If you're someone who is on a loose budget but still appreciates a great headset that doesn't even come close to touching your ears, this headset is for you.
What's great about it: Easy setup, great price, easy use, INSANELY comfortable
What's not so great: Not durable, tends to accumulate dust in the cushions, not the *best* sound quality ever

From the first moment you put them on you think you are going to break the plastic in the middle of the band. They give a nice snug fit on your head (at least on my 7-3/4 sized skull). It needs to be snug b/c the weight and size of these bad boys.
But the feeling of the plastic breaking every time i prepared to put them on never went away and finally a week ago I had the plastic crack on the headphones. (on the left/mic side of the headphones right under the N on the word gamecon) The headphones still sit on my head but left side doesn't fit as snug anymore. Only a matter of time now before the rest of the plastic breaks and will be replaced with new headset.

I will say that the casing of the wiring is great. I have ran over the wiring countless times with the wheels on my office chair and never effect the sound. People have complained that the chord is too short but as a gamer with my audio ports on the front of my rig, the chord length is perfect.

My friend had his headset for only 8 months before plastic started to crack on his headset.
I feel these would be supreme headphones with stronger plastics or integrate some metal to give it some needed rigidity.
