What's great about it: Cheap BluRay player
What's not so great: Network

"Buy an Xbox 360!!! For the people who say that PS3's network is so much better, think about this. yes its free, but there are nowhere near the updates and games as Xbox, its free because it's trash. for those of you who think the Network is better, you probably dont realize that Playstation just released that they will be monitoring and recording ALL conversations, messages, etc etc that go through the network from user to user. So much for privacy. All to enforce SCEA. hmmm. i like my privacy, and i dont want a video game that will devulge itself in every little aspect of my life it chooses."

What's great about it: It has the Best video games and internet ever. You also dont have to use batteries to charge it.
What's not so great: It gets finger prints and dusty easyly.

What's great about it: It is very good overall but the graphics really are the best thing about it.
What's not so great: The price is good but it will pay over itself.

You can go to the internet play online, listen to music, watch videos it is really good.

What's great about it: blu-ray, free online, graphics, controllers
What's not so great: price, system updates can get annoying

"This is a lot better than a xbox 360 and wii. First, the graphics are amazing. But to have full HD, it's important to have an HDMI cord. Second, there is a ton of memory space. And third, free online. It's almost the same thing as xbox live but its free. Sometimes when you just want to play a quick game of madden 09 online, a system update shows up. Other than this the system is amazing and you will really enjoy blu-ray."

What's great about it: Incredible graphics, sound and functionality
What's not so great: died in less than 1 year!!

"I love most Sony products...the PS3 is no exception.
The one issue I have, and its a major issue, is that it has died in less than a year after purchase!
I received an error code telling my that the Blu-ray laser is no longer able to read any disks(games or movies)
Fortunatly this happened within 3 days of my 1 year purchase date and contacted Sony for repair options.
Sony sent me a prepaid box via UPS to return to factory for repair
I just sent it out today and should take 5-10 business days to return back to me. Please Google this problem. Its seems to be a growing issue with the PS3, therefore I highly recommend the extended service plan, because if this happened 4 days later I would be SOL and VERY upset...just my 2 cents..happy gaming"

What's great about it: Value for money, features, quality of picture!

"I saw this product at a friend's place and loved it the very instant. This was one thing that I had to buy! I was amazed at the quality of picture on screen and the value it gave for money. Most Blu-ray players are no less than $400 and here was a gaming console that offered more than any of the most advanced Blu-Ray players. It definitely was in many ways, my choice for my home!"

it has never frozen,
online play is awsome.
big hard drive,
graphics keep getting better and better along time.
blu-ray drive, built in wy-fi, bluetooth, motion sensor for the controller,
controller has the rumble function, free master acount on the playstation network.

What's great about it: Great graphics, Ps3 network is free, nice controllers
What's not so great: Big, dust collector, RUNS SLOW ALOT

"THE GOOD-The graphics are the best on any other gaming system. Everyone says that ps3 network is not as good as Xbox LIVE but i see no difference. The controllers have a good style to them and they have a long battery life. THE BAD-The ps3 is a huge system. It collects dust like Randy Moss catches footballs. It runs slow. When im doing a fantasy draft on NBA live 08 it takes 15 sec for 1 pick."

"OMG!!!!! this is the greated system i have ever played! the graphics are amazing. the wireless controller is really cool and the blu-ray disk player is very very convinient. it even has free internet usage. this is opposed to the xbox which costs extra for internet and doesn't have a blu-ray player. I would DEFINETLY recommends this to you."

What's great about it: Easy to set up, easy to use, great graphics, versitile, plays almost any media.
What's not so great: Scratches easily, but good if kept away from children.

"Always had a PS2, but wanted to upgrade. My old DVD player crashed so I figured this PS3 would take its place. It did all that and more since it plays BlueRay and has an HDMI output. The graphics are second to none. Best thing for the money since it does it all."

What's great about it: Blu - Ray Player
What's not so great: Lack of major game titles

"I've always been a fan of Xbox but since the 360 came out I've lost my like for it. The lack of quality for the system hardware causes it to fail on me just like so many other people. Even with that said I still would choose it over the PS3 based on the game lineup alone. I don't like the PS3's linup of major titles since it doesn't have many titles that aren't available on the Xbox but the main thing that makes it a great choice is the Blu - Ray player. It is the best Blu - Ray player out on the market due the consistent updates on it through the Playstation Network. This newer technology is also going to last someone a lot longer than an Xbox 360 can try and argue."

What's great about it: quality, XMB is user friendly
What's not so great: some iPods can't be used, DS3 has short battery life

"The online maybe free, but it's no Xbox LIVE (when it comes to what you can do with it), but then again, you pay for that service. The PSN is a pretty good service, especially for being free.
What made me switch over to the PS3 from the 360 was the quality of the system. SInce mostly every game I liked on the 360 is also on the PS3, I figured, "Why would I play these game on a unreliable system?" so I switched over. Long story short, I'm glad I did.
Sure, the price is the highest of the three next gen systems, bur remember that you're getting what you pay for, and since Blu-Ray players are still more expensive than a PS3, you're really getting more than what you paid for."

"This is a great space saving product! A high quality gaming system as well as hi-def Blu-Ray player...all wrapped into one!!! Highly enjoy the ability to browse the internet as well! I've found it is definitely easier to run Blu-Ray player with the remote control rather than included controller, highly advise purchasing one as well as a recharging docking station for controllers! Has been an excellent product in our household for all ages from 4 to 50!"

What's great about it: Outputs 720p or 1080p and awesome graphics and audio!
What's not so great: Figerprints and dusty right away sometimes...

"What a great system I ever gotten! I order it past Saturday on the 1st of november. Ship out on the 3rd then arrived on 5th! The XMB Menu work really well! It connects to your WIFI Router/Cable Modem. Very easy to setup I would get a TumbPad for faster typing. Anyway's everything else is awesome! Gets a 5 stars from me!"
