What's great about it: These guys get to take your money, and mess up your machine all with minimal effort on their behalf.
What's not so great: Overheats your ps3

"OK, the PS3 actually has the best cooling system of any of the current generation of gaming systems. This "intercooler" actually BLOCKS the air vents on the case and slows down the flow of air inside. I've seen lots of PS3's come into our store for repair, and a good 90% of the ones with major problems had one of these attached. Do yourself a favor and instead of buying one of these, just make sure that there is 3 or more inches of clearance on all sides of the case, and dont leave it sitting on carpet. Focus more on open air getting to the PS3 (dont leave it boxed in an entertainment center with the door closed). Save your money and buy a new blu-ray movie with it instead."

What's great about it: Keeps my PS3 cool
What's not so great: Does not connect to PS3 correctly

"One clip on the back doesn't connect correctly so there is a gap between the cooler and the PS3. Still keeps it cool but isn't fully connected. I am going to return it and try another one. If you expect to not hear any fan noise then you shouldn't buy this product. It is quiet but you can still hear it. Just turn up the volume on the tv and you can't hear it."

What's great about it: Easy Set Up, Right Price for this Product, Keeps your PS3 cool....
What's not so great: I'd say Fan noise....

"I got this thing last week from a Best Buy retail store close to my house. Put this baby on my PS3 right away when I got home, and I was amazed how easily this thing could be on installation. I was amazed on the flawless design that NYKO has made on the power usage because it has a separate A/C power where you could plug this thing in your power outlet.... They don't share power at all, not like the older version of this where you have to plug the A/C power of your PS3 to the cooler which i think that is pretty dangerous bcuz your PS3 doesn't get the enough power that it needs because it has to be shared with the cooling system.... But this is great, separate power.... Bad thing is that the Fan NOISE!!! The noise of the fan is like when you make a noise like "SSSSHHH" really really soft, but that don't bother me at all.... The most important thing is that this thing will make your console cooler for long hours of gaming.... So far this item has been doing its job... GOOD PRODUCT!!!!"

What's great about it: Simple and effective
What's not so great: Loud

"This fan clips on easily and keeps my console nice and cool during gaming sessions. It is worth the money . The only 2 problems i have encountered is that it is extremely loud even on the lowest setting ( I can hear it 2 rooms away) and after 2 months the second larger fan in the back started to make a horrendous grinding like noise an icould feel the vibrations in the consoloe.
I pried out the fan with a screwdriver and used electrical tape on the wires."

What's great about it: The installation is simple, the performance is great, and it is hidden behind the console.
What's not so great: It's a little louder than I expected.

"I purchased the product in hopes of keep my system cool during long gameplay marathons. I hooked up the intercooler last night before a 6 hour online marathon of video game play, and normally I would be able to feel the heat resonnating off of my console. Last night I touched the top and it was completely cool to the touch. I would recommend this product to any real gamer. It's $30, but it is worth every penny if it could help to save you the $400 it would cost to replace a burnt out system. Make a small investment to help save you from having to make a big investment! I have already told all of my friends to make sure they pick up one of these for their console!"
