What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: small viewing angles

"Fyi to the last reviewer: there is a 'previous channel' button. It's located right below the pause button - called CH RTN.
The worst thing about this tv is if you're not directly in front of it, the picture isn't that great. Something to keep in mind with an LCD tv - not a wide viewing angle.
Watching a dvd - the picture looks awesome!!!
Sound quality is fine - but keep in mind it's a small tv made to be watched in a small room (like a bedroom or den, not a family or living room)."

What's great about it: Easy to set up and use. Very good picture and sound.
What's not so great: Could use a "previous channel" button.

"Other reviewers have mentioned "low sound or hard to hear sound." I have this TV set up in my bedroom. Sound clarity and volume is fine. The speakers are small. But, it is a small TV. Whether the unit is set for regular TV or DVD, the sound is more that satisfactory. DVD is easy to use. The picture is very good on TV or DVD. I highly recommend this TV."

What's not so great: Sound Quality Could Be Better,

"Great Picture Simple Setup. Digital Picture Quality Is Excellent Just Make Sure You Have A Strong Signal If Not Tileing Appears In Picture. I Found I Had A Lose Cable Connector Replaced It And All Was Well. I Like It So Much I Plan On Purchasing The Same Model For Another Bed Room. See If You Can Catch It On Sale $349.00 Made It A Great Deal."

What's great about it: Picture and sound

"I purchased this TV for the master bedroom. It's perfect in size, shape, picture and sound quality. It is wall mountable but I have not done that yet. I have owned it now for about 7 months and have only watched a few DVD's on it and I am very pleased with it's overall performance. There is some lag time when channel surfing but I'm adapting to it. I now own several toshiba products including two laptops and I have never had any problems. Also, Please feel free to read my review on the on the 42" Regza."

Love This Set 11/20/2008

What's great about it: The Price, Picture, and Quality.........
What's not so great: Nothing............

"This set was an early christmas gift for my children since their previous TV went out. It's perfect because it has a DVD built in it. My children has most of their favorite disney movies on VCR and could not watch them because of the many compotents hooked up to the other TV. Now with the built in they just hooked the VCR up and stll watch all of their DVDs without any problems. They love it and are very happy to have it. The picture is great for the size. I would tell anyone that is looking for something small in size but has great quality this is it."

"I tried both Sharp and Toshiba (22 LCD/DVD combo)- Here is a comparison .

Postives of Toshiba
--------------------
1)Sharp Check source/input --> It says DVD,Input1,Input2,,,,,,DVD--> this is confusing...(Toshiba says PC, HDMI etc which is clear)
2) Sharp DVD drive doesn't read everything for eg I inserted a 3 year old VCD this could not read that (But Toshiba reads that)
3)In Sharp if you insert a CD with movie, pics and music - it cannot recognize movie files (toshiba has all movie, pics , music)
4) In Sharp Menu and display font are rather ordinary (Toshiba menu fonts look "Better")
5) Sharp, If you plan to use it as a monitor , LCD will not tilt backwards. LCD display has ONLY a vertical position (Toshiba LCD can be tilted backwards)

Negatives of Toshiba

6) Sharp Sound is slightly more audible or loud , but I find that it lacks that crystal clarity ( Toshiba has comparatively low sound and audibility, but speakers and music are better and clearer even-if it has a low volume)
7) In Sharp ,in the picture adjustment menu you can increase or decrease color , sharpness (Toshiba color and Sharpness is locked you cannot change it)
8) In Sharp, Sound adjustments are better , you have more option and effects. (Toshiba most of the options are locked)

Overall

For the same price Toshiba gives me more options. According to me picture quality is better in Toshiba eventhough sound is less audible. Sharp has a "slightly" better audible speakers. I recommend Toshiba --- Good Luck"

"I love this t.v and dvd combo. It was the best purchase I have ever bought. I wanted something small but not TOO small and this one work perfect. The only problem I have now is, my bigger t.v just broke so I might have to take this one back to buy a bigger t.v."
