What's great about it: shaves ice fast for slushies and snow cones
What's not so great: Kind of loud for apartment use
To be honest I didn't expect much to come from these Nostolgia Electonics products, but this thing suprised me. it shaves the ice pretty quick. It can take 2-3 big handfuls of ice and shaves it down to about 3-4 snow cones in about a minute.
i love being able to munch on the ice in my drinks, so with this bad boy I pretty much can make anything into a slushie now.
It is kind of noisy, but its more quiet then a blender and shaves ice better than most blenders i have can considering its designed to do just that.
Sometimes the ice gets cought and will stop, but taking off the lid and giving it a good shake will fix it no problem.
Love this thing, its the best small appliance purchase I've made from best buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!
