What's great about it: Phenomenal capacity, great display, great value
What's not so great: Software Interface
"Get over it, Riley14. With 40+ years in IT, I'd wager you a million to one that the Zune did NOT, in fact, either wipe out your music or mess up your computer. Granted that the computer interface is definitely NOT wonderful, it does work, and while the human interface on the Zune is NOT intuitive, it DOES work, and with great sound reproduction, assuming you have decent phones. I've been told, and believe, that Msft did 'dumb down' the computer interface in order to avoid monopoly and bundling issues, but now you can see what all that costs us in terms of what we EXPECT from them. They could make a much nicer interface.
Over all, this is a great product, and with falling prices and growing storage, I'm buying a second one for my wife.
Wiped out your music and messed up your PC? I don't think so. Maybe need to read the instructions before you push keys."

Wiped out my computer!

What's great about it: Absolutely NOTHING!!!!
What's not so great: It completely wiped out my 40 gigs of music on my computer and external drive and my computer is now on the fritz
"I brought this home plugged it in and right away erased all of my 40 gigs of music on my computer and then when I tried to restore it with my external hard drive it completely erased that too. The software is extremely hard to navigate and figure out. The player didn't even get to be used and it destroyed my Dell computer and an external hard drive. I now have to buy a new computer and a new external hard drive. Maxtor hard drives are of very poor quality as well as the Zune software and the player. This is a definate stay way away from junk product! This is the worst product I have ever bought hands down! The Zune destroyed my computer and an external hard drive! I hate Microsoft and Zune!!!! BUY IPODS DO NOT BUY ZUNES!!!!"

What's great about it: More gigs
"We have just upgraded from the 80gig to the 120gig and we are very satisfied. It's easy to use and with much more memory we can store songs, games, videos...etc. It's not thick which makes it more easier to put it in your pocket."

"The zune is still my favorite. This is the third zune I've had and have had no problems. the best thing is the zune marketplace. you can get any song practically for one monthly price. who needs ipod."

What's great about it: Easy to use and so much space
"I had an iPod, and the battery died. I found the Zune on bestbuy and loved that it has the option of WiFi for marketplace functions and that you can tag songs on the radio that my iPod never had. The drive is huge. I don't think I could ever fill it. While drive size is not why I preferred the Zune over the iPod, it was the features it has that the iPod doesn't. I love having the option to listen to the radio like back on my old school cd walkman and that I can sync without having to locate the cord. I loved my iPod, but the Zune has replaced it and beyond. Get a Zune!"

What's great about it: i love the programming!!!! its pretty too lol ;D and its way better than ipod to me.

What's great about it: Storage, wireless features
What's not so great: cannot think of any
"I had a 30 GB model and purchased this 120GB. I really enjoy the extra storage capacity. Screen is bright and clear. The touchpad is nice idea-like using a pad on a notebook computer, just move your finger over the pad no more having to click the pad-though you can choose to do that in settings if you wish. Wireless is great for purchasing from the Zune marketplace. Another cool feature is if you are listening to fm radio you can purchase/save that song for later. Overalll very happy with the upgrade. It is also smaller in size than my older 30GB, plus the body has a little glossy finish to it instead of flat."

"The latest from Microsoft, the 120GB Zune, is truly a great portable media player.
I tossed and turned about picking this up or an iPod Touch. When it came down to it, I chose the Zune for it's storage, screen size, and ease of use. Watching videos on it is an absolute dream. I also enjoy whiling away the hours playing Texas Hold-em, which is quite addictive.
Using the Zune software is great too, as syncing whatever you want is a breeze. (It is quite odd how it is not compatible with WMP though.)
The only drawback I have seen so far is the hard reset I've had to perform a couple of times. It's not a big deal, as the Zune restarts within seconds.
This is a great buy for the holiday season, and especially for those who want a nice alternative to an iPod."

What's great about it: Hard Drive space, features, wireless, and the social.
What's not so great: comes with zune basic headphones instead of premium.
"The 120 gigabyte Zune is a great media player I highly recommend getting one. It has lots of extra features like wireless sharing, and wireless syncing to your pc. The zune has lots of hard drive space and has really good sound quality."

"games are not as easy on the zune as they are on an ipod. custom apps will actually reboot the zune when completed. however no ipod to date has the drive capacity that the zune does and because of this i love the zune."

"For the cons I put a dash because it's only bulky because of the large screen so it's not really a con. Anyway... I own a Zune and my sister owns an ipod. I really don't like it when people say Zune is better than ipod. It's a fantastic alternative... but they're the exact same thing now. I say "now" because the zune software finally caught up to itunes in ease of use. So now it's whether you love or hate apple/microsoft... it's no longer which one is the better product. All it is is which one you think looks cooler and which features better suit you. So I say just pick which company you like more. However... GO Zune! lol"

"My old Zune broke, so I upgraded to this one. Absolutely fantastic. The wifi streaming is great, and it's nice to finally see radio tags for songs. The touchpad is a nice feature, especially for quickly changing the volume. If you want an amazing music/video player but want more storage than the new iPod, definately go with a Zune."
