What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Nothing

"I've been through several bluetooth headsets/headphones and the return clerks at several retailers in town can now rest easy. When I finally figured out that the bluetooth settings on my Mac listed 2 connects for these headphones (headset and headphones), I set it for headphones and couldn't believe how great they sounded, with total comfort and control (once the buttons were memorized). The best for the dough I've found and they rarely leave my neck. They work just a well with my Iphone. The calls are clear as a bell even when I'm running. Finally found my headgear!"

What's great about it: Great audio quality, works well with my phone
What's not so great: Occasional audio skips

"I've seen these at $100+ and so was thrilled when I found them on sale. The sound is terrific, and they are extremely easy to use. My phone is a MOTORAZR2 V8. The headset works seamlessly for both music and phone calls. I prefer to use both ears when phoning and have always been bothered by mono Bluetooth receivers on only one ear.

I was a little disappointed in reading the instructions that they say reception outdoors would be poor because I like to listen to music while walking. However, I found that they really work quite well. There are occasional skips in music, but the wired earbuds that came with the phone -- which also have great sound -- also have skips, so I guess that is due to the phone."

What's great about it: Design is cool
What's not so great: scratchy music if put in pocket

"WHen I got this product, I thought this would be really cool. I also thought it would be really useful while running and that would be great not messing with cords or anything. But when I first tried it with running, i put it in my pocket and it was really scratchy. So while I was running I had to hold it next to my head to get good service. Did I do something wrong? I dont know but I wish it wasnt scratchy while in my pocket"

What's great about it: So Convenient and Great Sound

"Oh wow do I love these things! I received them as a present from my girlfriend Kitty, and anticipated only using them while listening to music and satellite radio via my Samsung Epix i907 phone. The fact that I can also take phone calls with amazing quality was an added BONUS!

I am a gadget nut and this is one of my favorite "toys" I own. I was slow to grasp bluetooth - just never liked the Jabra's and Jawbones of the world but these rock! Thank you Kitty!"

What's great about it: These things are sweet! They work with any Bluetooth device not just the ROKR.
What's not so great: Rubber USB cover could be better

"These things are great!!! I was a little hesitant to spend a $100 on these but I am happy I did.

I use them with my Blackberry Curve and I couldn't be happier. I can leave my phone in my pocket or backpack and listen to music without any wires. The best part is that I can skip through songs, pause, and adjust volume from the controls on the headset. Additionally, if I get a call the music pauses and I can use these to talk on the phone, then when the call is done the music resumes.

I was most skeptical about the sound quality. However, these things sound awesome! They sound better than my Sony corded headphones and I never hear any static. The depth is awesome and so is the bass. They really sound incredible plus there are different sound settings so you can pick whats best for you. I will never go back to corded headphones!!!

The battery life and range are also great,I wear them all day at work and I have never had an issue. I also like that they are sleek and low key, without a lot of flashing blue lights.

I highly recommend these to anyone who enjoys quality sound and wants to ditch the cord."

Very comfortable, sleek...great on treadmill, BUT   11/13/2008
By jenna1224 from Boca Raton

What's great about it: Lightweight, STABLE and no wires to dangle
What's not so great: Sound Quality

"I probably would have kept these headphones had I not been testing the SHURE SE110 Sound Isolating Earphones also bought from Best Buy a week or so ago. I was able to do a 90 minute workout (60 on treadmill, 20 on Elliptical and capping off with leg machine) with my motorokr without feeling I had anything on my neck. I used the smallest earbuds and the fit was perfect. If you're using the iPod Nano remember to purchase an iPod transmitter (I bought the Sony which has a very good build quality and fits the iPod in the "CENTERED" as opposed to the Motorola 650 which sticks out unevenly from the armband and is off center Nothing bobbed , jangled nor popped out.

The problem was that I was carrying my SHURE earphones in my bag and I exchanged the Motorola Motorokr S9-HD at the end of my workout just to make sure. I reconnected the SHURE earphones to my iPod. Well it was like I was immediately catapulted a wonderful home theatre experience with powerful stereo sound and great bass. Its really a matter of taste. I find I prefer great sound to the convenience of WIRELESS.

Let me make an important point however. I am petite (5'2") and am able to attach the SHURE earbuds WITHOUT the spare cable so I'm not really that encumbered by the excess wire. I wear a Griffin armband (flat kind) and its just the right length. When I did use the extra cable, I just tucked it into my Griffin arm band and the thickness of the cable actually kept the wires from tangling and did not cut into my arm. I had a great set up with my SHURE earbuds that I now appreciate (thanks to the opportunity of BEST BUY to try out both options) and I'm keeping the SHURE earbuds and giving back the MOTOROKR.

In conclusion, its a matter of priorities. I love the powerful sound from the SHURE earbuds and I can work around the inconvenience of the wires."

Great all-in-one tool for all active uses   11/07/2008
By Sly42 from Indiana

What's great about it: linking ease, features, switches easily between phone and music, good sound quality for music and phone
What's not so great: uncomfortable fit for glasses; need phone close to device (e.g. on arm) for BEST phone reception inside/outdoors

"I've had the S9 HD for 3 weeks now and the device works as advertised. So far have used in several 5 and 10K runs and sweat hasn't caused problems with the controls to date...this was considered a main problem with the S9. I wear glasses and the device becomes uncomfortable after several hours (2+) of use. Also, doesn't fit as well on temples with glasses. Device isn't adjustable. Can wear glasses with thin frames. The device doesn't like to be far from its source e.g. on hip under a jacket, etc....this can cause reception problems, it does work best with an arm band but also works well on hip as long as there are no coverings or clothing or other obstructions. I'm using with a Blackberry Curve 8310 (which is Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP), Handsfree (HF) and Handset (H) compliant) and works great. Check your phone/media players' specs for these profiles to ensure they will work their best with this device."

Wired headsets...watch out   11/05/2008
By JoeThePlumber from Denver, CO

What's great about it: Audio was great and NO WIRES!
What's not so great: The headset is not adjustable

"I love the ability to work out with this headset and not have to worry about wear to place any type of wires from my iPod to the headset. It is a great wireless solution that is very light and comfortable. I could go for 2 hour runs with this and love it's quality. What I loved about it as well is that I was able to connect my phone and my iPod to it at the same time. If I received a call on my phone, it would pause my music on my iPod and switch to the call on my phone.
TRULY AMAZING!!!"

Good Sound   11/02/2008
By stewart20fan from Lake County, IL

What's great about it: The sound quality
What's not so great: Geek factor

"Pros: lightweight, sound quality, easy to use controls.
Cons: geek factor, no low power warning, music can cut out during activities.
I had a problem where the phone would work fine but no music through headset. After three calls to Motorola, the rep finally said pull battery from Blackberry and reset Bluetooth paring. It now works fine.
Also, Motorola said my Blackberry 8830 was not A2DP compliant, which is needed to listen to music with the S9-HD. They are wrong according to Blackberry."

Great headset   10/28/2008
By Bob81 from Roseville, CA

What's great about it: Comfort, sound quality
What's not so great: none so far

"I have been using the S9 standard for the past 18 months since they came out and loved them, but the battery started to malfunction. So since it was no longer under mfgr warranty, I decided to try the S9-HD and they are even better! The bass is amazing and sound quility is supurb. I can even pair it with both my mp3 player (Samsung P2 - great player btw) and my Moto RAZR2 V9 at the same time. Easily paired with my products and seems to last a long time if I remember to turn them off."

By wb318 from San Jose, CA

What's great about it: Sound Quality, Design, Call Clarity
What's not so great: none so far

"I've been using the Jabra BT8010, Moto HT820, Creative SE2300 together with Sony BT81P to stream Music from my IPhone 3G. and so far none of them came close to the Sound and Call clarity of the S9HD and also its very comfortable to wear."
