What's great about it: Touchscreen, easy texting, Email, Internet, etc
What's not so great: Breaks easily, short battery life, camera

"My iPhone is great. The way that the contacts are organized is very nice. The internet/email is fast & easy. Texting is very fast, and i barely make any mistakes. The things that are not so great is the fact that it breaks/shatters EASILY. I have shattered mine 3 times, and i have to pay 200 dollars each time to repair it. The camera stinks, but sometimes it is alright. You cannot delete a single text mesage, you must delete all from one contact if you wish to delete something. And the battery life gets consumed very quickly."

What's great about it: This phone is great easy to use and has lots freee apps to download
What's not so great: I would say Battery life but I keep in plug in and on the go

"I love this phone its great so much to do on it I like the G3 plus the GPS which the first Iphone didint have. I would say keeps me in touch with friends and Family also keeps me ontop of my work email. I can hear it beep and know I got a new work email check it and when I get home dont have to messy with my email because I have read it all....

"I recently purchased an IPhone it has some great features like quick internet, easy access to your e-mail, and touch screen. It's the newest in technology and everyone is trying to get one. However there are a few things I don't like. Example the battery life on the phone is short. If you're using your phone for texting you constantly have to keep it on the charger or your battery will die very quickly. Also, the keys are too small and I'm constantly making mistakes. Finally the camera doesn't have a flash or different options for editing pictures. That's about it thanks! ;)"

What's not so great: Can't organize my applications into categories for easier access on phone

"My life has changed since having the iPhone. I absolutely love it. I love the phone features themselves, of course, the additional applications are wonderful. There are simply too many favorite native and 3rd party applications to name. If you are considering a purchase, I'd go for it. I jumped right in, and I haven't been sorry. You'll learn everything you need to know about it quickly once you start using it. It's worth every penny."

"It is nice to check my e-mail and the web while on the go. I use the GPS feature a lot while at work. The browser sometimes closes by itself which is really the only problem that I have had with it. That and the fact that Itunes wont work with my 64 bit XP that I am running on my home computer."

What's great about it: Incredibly powerful, easy to use, many features
What's not so great: 3G speed not good

"AT&T apparently doesn't have the capacity to handle all the 3G traffic from their new phone. I specifically upgraded from a perfectly good original iPhone to the iPhone 3G for the speed bump in wireless browsing, downloading, etc. But I'm seeing virtually no difference in speed at all."

What's great about it: How great isimplifies my every day life
What's not so great: Battery life needs to be a little better

"I bought the iphone after thinking about it for a while and now the only question i have is why did i wait so long. This would be just an ordinary smart phone with having the same features of all the others out there having phone, email, music, calendar, contacts, and other simple featues. But then with update 2.0 and the addition of the App Store (the smartest thing apple could have done) there is no limit to what the iphone can be used for. It has been such a huge success that you see the other phones planning on a similar solution. But you have to give Apple the credit of being the first and the leading innovator with the technology, I love my iphone and cant imagine going on without it."

"I rarely treat myself to nice things, but when I saw the iPhone, I loved it. I love it more now that I own one. It really does do everything they say - phone, music, calendar, contacts, pictures, camera, web, text, etc.
The only thing I can't figure out is how they offer this unbelievably awesome device for only $200. Amazing!"

"I am completely addicted to this phone. It is so nice to have the internet at your fingertips wherever you go. My wife downloaded the grocery app for free and uses it to keep track of her shopping list when she goes to the store. I have been able to stay in much better contact with all of my friends since I have had this phone. Just get a really good case to protect it."

What's great about it: Good price, fun to use, ton of features

"I have had this phone for a few months now and it is awesome, this is a serious upgrade from my old phone. I had verizon and I switched to at&t for a couple of reasons, I liked verizon service better though. The phone is great, and with the new upgrade that includes the app store it keeps me entertained for hours on end with great games and utilities. Now I am just fifteen so i don't really use the things like stocks and microsoft exchange although. This phone is easy to use and responds to your touch very nicely. The phone is quite durable, I started off with a case and decided to remove that, and i droped the phone a couple times, without the case, and it holds up quite good. The phone doesn't even have any scratches that can't be easily polished off and the smooth reinforced glass screen feels so good. Every night before i go to bed i plug my phone up and charge it overnight and it lasts me all day the next day. The few downsides are that there is no video recording, no mms( although you can send and recieves email via email which is quite easy). Sometimes safari restrts on me( quite frequently accutualy) but my friends have a instinct and dare and i've played around with them and everyone agrees my phone is the best.
One more sidenote is the call qulity is bad, but apple partly fixed that with the last upgrade and hopefully can fix it completly with time to come."

"I've been running this phone for about 2 weeks and overall i'm pleased. I probably would not have purchased this phone right away had i asked about the ability to send pics via text message. Also you cant forward text messages which i dont do often but its nice to have the option. The 3G is not as fast as you would be made to believe but the wifi is twice as fast.
Poor battery life has made it necessary to invest in a car charger. I do like how fast it charges up in about an hour unlike my Samsung Sync phone that took almost 3 hours to charge from close to dead."

What's not so great: Vibrate is not as strong as last gen, Battery Life

"Overall the new 3G is better than the old iPhone. I switched to the iPhone when apple first came out with them and just upgraded to the 3G.

The features list on the original iPhone was lengthy and this phone is packed with even more, like the 3G internet which is quite fast (but it drains the battery quickly, and robs from phone reception when on calls). The GPS is very handy, and you can use that with google maps to find your location and get directions.

The upgraded space allows for more movies, music and pictures than I really would need on a phone. But I am not buying a new iPod now as a result. This has all the space I need.

The phone is good, as good as any other cell phone out there. That being said, I have never been satisfied with most cell phones, as are most people dropped calls are normal no matter what phone you have, that is more of a network issue than the phone. Although the 3G does cut into reception a bit, and new dead spots are showing up while using this phone it works as well as any other phone. As a side note, the vibrate function on the ringer is weak at best, and the phone does have a tendency of going straight to voicemail.

The battery is good enough for 1 day of use, I don't play music that often but I do use other apps quite frequently, and I rarely get the low battery warning. The old phone did less and it had more battery life so it is a bit of a tradeoff, but with the functionality of this phone, its worth it. If you are truly concerned with battery life get a car charger or find a time to refresh it to get through your day. But likely this wont be a problem if you are an average user.

I would definitely buy this phone again"
