What's great about it: Price and value
What's not so great: Nothing yet
Easy to use machine. Took approximately 2-1/2 hours to assemble. Previous reveiw read said "need to order power cord, batteries don't last" so i ordered cord at the same time - machine now comes with it so no need, Machine is smooth and quiet (since i have it on the concrete floor in the garage i bought a rubber exercise machine pad for $20 and have it sitting on that). Probably the best buy for the money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: When I hauled it to the trash...
What's not so great: I had to dismantle it to haul it to the trash...
My wife and I had purchased the Proform 800 less than a year ago. My wife and I have been using it for less than a year until it broke down. The warranty is only for 90 days and I think that is how long they thought the elliptical would last. Initially we both thought it would be a great addition to our home gym and a few months ago we both started using it. We both experienced hip pain because the device never seems to be able to be balanced properly. Additionally since the base is very narrow it will move from side to side as it was being used and that is very uncomfortable as well. My advice avoid it save the $600 or so and save up for a higher quality elliptical.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: This machine makes me sweat. Totally recommend this one.
What's not so great: The one thing I don't like about it is that it is to light for harder workouts
Even though this machine is light for heavy workouts (which I don't plan on doing) I still love it! I have been using just the 1st workout for 20 minutes and I sweat like no other machine or workout dvd would make me sweat! I love the fact that they give you video game while you workout but if you stop working out you cannot finish your game, so you are pretty much forced to workout to play! The speakers are okay I kinda wish they had more bass to them but it doesn't really bother me. I also like the fact that you can check your pulse on the handles.
I would recommend this to a friend!
