What's great about it: Ease of installation, Power handling
What's not so great: Pretty Bulky, CHROME and BRIGHT LIGHTS ALL DAY!
I had an issue with Bass BOOM!! dimming all my lights sucking power from my vehicle. I installed a this little jewel and not only did it free up the power for my vehicle but it cleared up my sound!
When you draw less current than what is needed you create analog distortion in your sound. I didn't even know I had a problem until I installed the capacitor and BOOM! BOOM! everything is punchier, clearer, my lights DO NOT DIM!!
For the price this is a great investment into your audio system compared to other brands. As for reliability I can't really comment as I've only had it installed for about a month.
I run an 8-10 year old Memphis Audio 12" woofer with a 600w Rockford that about the same age in my '04 GMC Yukon XL.
