I bought this product thinking it was a dvd player since it was categorized with the car dvd players. This is only a monitor!!! Knew the price had to be too good to be true.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: nothing
What's not so great: the screen goes white after only 2hrs of continuous use
I purchased the Power Acoustik ceiling monitor because of the cost and functionality. The functionality part however lasted only a couple of hours. I purchased the monitor in late OCT 09 and it the screen went white on 17 DEC 09....I know that's a span of 3 months but the only time i played it was after installation prior to traveling..the sole purpose of it was to amuse my children while traveling from KS to Washington D.C. only to be dissappointed after it "blanked out" after 2 hrs of driving. We weren't even out the state of KS! To resolve it I called the Power Acoustik company only to speak to representative who took my name and number for some one to call me back........that was 1 wk ago....stilll waiting...bottom line, I will never purchase ANY Power Acoustik equipment again...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
