What's great about it: easy set up, clear picture and sound and easy to mount
What's not so great: wish it came with a tripod too then it would be prefect cause computer screen is big and high up but it's no big deal
I video chat with family all over the world and this web cam is very clear. Pretty fast unless you have a daughter dancing and jumping around, it can't catch every movement but keeps up better then any other web cams I've tried. I don't think the other people understand if they have problems with this cam it's not the cam, it's your connection. If your internet connection is slow or slow on the other end, that's not the cameras fault cause I never had these problems with this cam and I've video chatted with family in 3rd world countries. Oh, and the sound is crystal clear.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Easy Set Up
What's not so great: Some connectivity issues in XP.
This is plug and play for Windows 7, and installs easily into Windows XP. It has good video and audio resolution, and comes with toys for the home user. I'd reccomend this to someone looking for an inexpensive camera for video conferencing.

i had bough this web cam just last week and i already hate it every time i want to talk to my fam over the country eather it dosent sound wright like kind of statiki and when i speak the words that are coming out of my mouth in the cam are to slow . ... this cam i dont recomend it to people who are goin to be talkin to family around the country

What's not so great: everything else.
The video quality is quite bad and it is very pixely. The sound is horrible. I would speak, the sound would come out, then my lips would move. Very bad webcam, definitely wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

What's great about it: USB connection; other then that nothing!
What's not so great: Quality; video and sound are horrific
Video quality is terrible. Extremely dark and choppy; it was hard for the other person in a video chat to even recognize me. Sound quality also terrible. Huge amount of static and sounded as if I were underwater. This camera is garbage. I am very angry with the company. Directly on the box it says it is compatible with MACs. So I hook it up to my G5 and I get nothing! I go online and there website says "while it is compatible with MAC computers the software is not and the camera itself does have limited functionality." Couldn't you say that on the box! Rather then creating the illusion that it would work just fine with a MAC. I found a way around it and got just the camera not the software to work with Skype and it was GOD AWFUL. TERRIBLE QUALITY. TERRIBLE CAMERA. Even if it was for a quick and cheap fix it still would not be worth the money. Avoid this product at all costs.

What's not so great: Overpriced, Blurry video quality, Static-ey mic
I was expecting something at least somewhat decent for a 60$ webcam. When I got home to use it, the quality was horrifying. I could barely make out my face cause the video quality was so blurry. The mic was decent but had some static too. The clip to hold up the webcam to the screen kept slipping and took me about 10 minutes to find a position where it would stay on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this webcam and installed it on my XP Home addition pc. It worked fine after install. I shut the computer down for the day when I started it up the next day I got a blue screen that would not go away even after trying to repair with my OS disk. I thought it might have been a coincidence and XP Home is a bit of a pain so I put is in my Vista computer and it did the same thing. I contacted Creative support and they told me to talk with my computer manufacturer. I looked on line and see that others have had this problem too. DON'T DO IT. I did my good deed warning you.

What's not so great: nothing, period!
I was actually impressed by this webcam. The setup was simple, and I experienced NO problems whatsoever. ( I use Windows Vista Basic). The picture quality is outstanding, very clear and detailed. For the price, you definately can't go wrong!

What's not so great: Video was VERY blurry and slow to respond. The delay was terrible.
I purchased this webcam so I can Skype with my family and figured because it was normally $50 it would be a great webcam. Wow was I WRONG! My family could barely make my face out it was EXTREMELY fuzzy and blurry. The delay was very bad and so needless to say I took it back after Skyping once. Just like the Best Buy told my parents, the best value and reliability is in the Best Buy brand of Dynex. This sales associate Skypes with his family in India with the Dynex webcam! Don't waste your time with Creative Live!

What's not so great: Says 30 fps, but feel the video is slower than that.
Great value and easy to set up. I have Windows XP and have no problems with this camera . Microphone is great. Good for first time users. No problems using Skype.

What's not so great: Not Vista Compatiable(Even though box says Windows Vista Compatiable)
Bought this webcam for my desktop. I use Skype, AIM and Y! Messengers a good bit and wanted something to communicate with friends.
Note: Vista Home Premium Edition drivers are a bit buggy. I was running Vista HP with SP1 and not only did this device give me issues, but, my Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS wouldn't work on it, or even my IOPD 30GB 4th GEN. STAY AWAY from Vista if at all possible.
I had so many issues that I had to downgrade to XP. Installed on XP Service Pack 3 with ease. Welcome back to an operating system that works.

What's great about it: Plug and paly, easy to use, built in microphone
What's not so great: Nothing.
Great overall webcam. I was looking for a camera that had decent quality at a reasonable price at about $50 and below. This camera is very easy to use and sets up easily. It has some nice additional software that allows you to mess around with facial recognition and costumes that appear on your face and head. As far as the camera being laggy, there is a lot of data traveling through that USB cable, and it can be expected from any of these type devices. I am very pleased with this device and it meets my needs completely.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: setting it up is very easy, and still image quality is good
What's not so great: video quality is very laggy and pixelated 90% of the time..
this webcam is good for a beginner who just needs it once and a while to talk with someone else, but otherwise i would not buy this webcam again. the video quality is horrible and the effects are VERY Laggy

I use this camera for skype and I also use it with GetWare's webcam live. It takes great pictures and my family that I skype with say the sound quality is really nice. " Like your in the room with me"

The quality of this camera is awesome. I have seen other pictures from less expensive webcams that you cannot compare to this one. I would highly recommend this model for your monitor or your laptop.
