Horrble camera.

What's great about it: Easy to set up.
What's not so great: Overpriced, Blurry video quality, Static-ey mic
"I was expecting something at least somewhat decent for a 60$ webcam. When I got home to use it, the quality was horrifying. I could barely make out my face cause the video quality was so blurry. The mic was decent but had some static too. The clip to hold up the webcam to the screen kept slipping and took me about 10 minutes to find a position where it would stay on."

Don't Do It!!!

What's great about it: Good Price
What's not so great: It takes out operating systems
"I bought this webcam and installed it on my XP Home addition pc. It worked fine after install. I shut the computer down for the day when I started it up the next day I got a blue screen that would not go away even after trying to repair with my OS disk. I thought it might have been a coincidence and XP Home is a bit of a pain so I put is in my Vista computer and it did the same thing. I contacted Creative support and they told me to talk with my computer manufacturer. I looked on line and see that others have had this problem too. DON'T DO IT. I did my good deed warning you."

What's great about it: Great price, easy setup, good quality picture
What's not so great: nothing, period!
"I was actually impressed by this webcam. The setup was simple, and I experienced NO problems whatsoever. ( I use Windows Vista Basic). The picture quality is outstanding, very clear and detailed. For the price, you definately can't go wrong!"

What's great about it: Easy to install
What's not so great: Video was VERY blurry and slow to respond. The delay was terrible.
"I purchased this webcam so I can Skype with my family and figured because it was normally $50 it would be a great webcam. Wow was I WRONG! My family could barely make my face out it was EXTREMELY fuzzy and blurry. The delay was very bad and so needless to say I took it back after Skyping once. Just like the Best Buy told my parents, the best value and reliability is in the Best Buy brand of Dynex. This sales associate Skypes with his family in India with the Dynex webcam! Don't waste your time with Creative Live!"

What's great about it: Great value
What's not so great: Says 30 fps, but feel the video is slower than that.
"Great value and easy to set up. I have Windows XP and have no problems with this camera . Microphone is great. Good for first time users. No problems using Skype."

Good Camera

What's great about it: Easy to set up, Nice picture quality
What's not so great: Not Vista Compatiable(Even though box says Windows Vista Compatiable)
"Bought this webcam for my desktop. I use Skype, AIM and Y! Messengers a good bit and wanted something to communicate with friends.
Note: Vista Home Premium Edition drivers are a bit buggy. I was running Vista HP with SP1 and not only did this device give me issues, but, my Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS wouldn't work on it, or even my IOPD 30GB 4th GEN. STAY AWAY from Vista if at all possible.
I had so many issues that I had to downgrade to XP. Installed on XP Service Pack 3 with ease. Welcome back to an operating system that works.
Sound quality: Good
Picture Quality: Good
No other issues at of now."

Simple Fun Webcam

What's great about it: Plug and paly, easy to use, built in microphone
What's not so great: Nothing.
"Great overall webcam. I was looking for a camera that had decent quality at a reasonable price at about $50 and below. This camera is very easy to use and sets up easily. It has some nice additional software that allows you to mess around with facial recognition and costumes that appear on your face and head. As far as the camera being laggy, there is a lot of data traveling through that USB cable, and it can be expected from any of these type devices. I am very pleased with this device and it meets my needs completely."

What's great about it: setting it up is very easy, and still image quality is good
What's not so great: video quality is very laggy and pixelated 90% of the time..
"this webcam is good for a beginner who just needs it once and a while to talk with someone else, but otherwise i would not buy this webcam again. the video quality is horrible and the effects are VERY Laggy"
