What's great about it: New game-play engine is awesome, you have great control of players and their moves. PRO camera mode is really realistic

"FIFA 2009 is a MUST buy for any football (soccer) fan.

New game-play engine is awesome, you have great control of players and their moves. You even have different combinations of celebration moves that you can bust out everytime you score a goal.

The manager mode is cool because you can create your own player and then assign him to a team that you are managing. your player will get better over a few seasons, my player is starting for FC Barcelona :)

PRO camera mode is really realistic, and a nice change up. awesome graphics of course, esp in HD.

What's great about it: The feel of the game, the smoother trickstick,the grafics
What's not so great: absolutly nothing unless you want to count the crazy smart defence which makes the game a little more difficult.

"This game is by far the sickest Fifa, Soccer game you have ever played. The variety of clubs to choose from , to the new and u are reading this correctly 10 man team option for online play. Get 10 people you know or have seen play form a squad den hit the pitch and start wuppin butt. The grafics are as close to real as you can get for annyy videogame. New impact angle alows for more realistic movements falls and slidetackles. Everyone hated that goalie in 2008 now that man is smart no more easy goal.(well most of the time) GET THIS GAME NOW ! Dont wait"

"Now, don't write me off as a FIFA die hard. I have always picked up both PES and FIFA in prior years to compare the two. Historically, PES has been faster paced, with the gameplay slightly edging out FIFA. FIFA has always been the choice for fans who want all the licenses and graphics you expect in this generation of gaming.
Enter 2009: FIFA has finally matched the gameplay level we have all been waiting for. The ball physics are great, with the ball rolling, bouncing, and rolling just as it should, and is not stuck to the players foot by any means. The addition of officials and referees and player celebrations add to the overall feel of a soccer match.
Scoring is much harder than PES, requiring actual thought and the buildup of a play. If you want an all out score-fest, you won't find it here unless there is a large gap in skill between players. If you make intelligent passes and understand what it takes to create space, you will be rewarded with scoring opportunities.
Be a Pro mode is not new, but its implementation is great in this game. Single player modes are similar, but it really shines in the online mode. Playing a 10 on 10 match with twenty human players is unbelievable. The game can sometimes turn into a playground soccer match, but if you get players in a game that are willing to play unselfishly and create chances for other players, it is unmatched in any other sports game.
There is just too much good about this game to write it all down. If you've been a fan of Fifa in the past, this is definably the best FIFA game ever created. Even PES fans will find that this game may be the champion this year. If you want a definitive soccer experience, look no further than FIFA 09 this year. Now lets see if PES can match it."

"If anyone saw the trailer you got the complete wrong idea about the game. Fifa 09 has the most realistic gameplay out of both fifa and Pro evolution soccer(pes). The graphics and how the players react to goals, fouls ect. is better than any other soccer game. In this game each player has their own unique look and appearance. In this game you can choose the celebrations at the moment and if you cant think of one you can skip and the computer will do one.Be a pro modeseasons is the best thing ever, you con play for clubs and get transferred to another club EVEN take part in international friendles. Your player can also be ranked.

This game is truly the best out for any soccer fan."

"FIFA 09 is definitely taking the FIFA game series to a whole new level by fixing over 200 issues with previous versions of the series (better touches, collisions, better goal keeper intelligence) and enhancing or adding new gameplay features.

Be A Pro: Season Mode

Just like you could play be a pro offline and online in FIFA 08, now in FIFA 09 use an existing player or create your own player and move up the ranks by playing seasons as your player until you reach the ultimate goal of playing for your international team.
